মুক্তিযুদ্ধকালে মানবতাবিরোধী অপরাধের দায়ে একাত্তরে 'মিরপুরের কসাই' নামে পরিচিত কাদের মোল্লা,  জামায়াতে ইসলামীর সহকারী সেক্রেটারি জেনারেল আবদুল কাদের মোল্লার ফাঁসির আদেশ দিয়েছেন সুপ্রিম কোর্টের আপিল বিভাগ। এটিই মুক্তিযুদ্ধের সময় মানবতার বিরুদ্ধে অপরাধের দণ্ডের বিরুদ্ধে আপিলের প্রথম রায়।
