RE: [chottala.com] Re: [vinnomot] Bangladesh is a rich country. Why so many people are poor?

Dear all,
The only problem of Bangladesh is lack of proper utilisation of our natural resources, human resources and lack of sincerity of our people. Look at our neighbouring country Thailand. They are now going ahead of us day by day. Before 30 to 40 years they were not so much developed and richer than us.

Only corruption in every spheres of our life and corruption in administrative set up made us difficult to go ahead. The only thing we are to do to make practice in corruption free Bangladesh. Our people should be given sufficient wages to maintain their life in a standard way to keep them away from corruption. Then and then only we can think of developing our country. Otherwise plenty of resources and manpower will not be of any help to us.

Our Bangladesh people  working abroad took a tremendous part in developing those countries with good reputation, as because they were given good amount of money to maintain their family life in a better way. In comparison to that the salary and wages which our govt is giving to our people instead of getting  proper work to develop our country they are getting all corrupted people in our soceity, the ultimate result of which is now well known to everybody.

to be more specific, bangladesh has 'some wealths' to be utilized, being unutilized no wealth is worthy, and 'proper utilization of wealth' is what we need to learn and practice

Bangladesh is a rich country. Are you lost, don't be. Really Bangladesh is a rich country.
Bangladesh is rich in natural resources and human resources. Bangladesh has around 150million people, more then required, skilled and unskilled. Moreover, Bangladesh has natural gas, coal, fertile land and enough sunshine which allow three crops per year in most of her lands. In spite of being rich, a large portion of her population lives in poverty. 50 % of her populations live under the national poverty line according to World Bank. What is the single major reason behind such pathetic condition? Isn't it the poor utilization of all of its resources?
Actually weak management of power, time, human resources and land is the key reason for such a large proportion of people being poor.

[chottala.com] Form a agency or commission to reform the historic-religious artifacts / locatio

Form a agency or commission to reform the historic-religious artifacts / locations / assets and use those for social tourism purposes
Mazars and other similar historic-religioius artifacts scattered around the country are an indispensible component of our social / historical / folklore fabric of the region. However, we have so far failed to capitalize on these historical assets for "social tourism". The newly proposed regulatory body should co-operate with different operating bodies on mazars to use them in a way that helps social tourism.

In parallel with eco-tourism, social tourism should also be another focus area in Bangladesh. Social tourism, if explored properly, has a huge potential to promote the Brand Bangladesh as well as the economic development of the country.

Following are the few of the links that might be useful to find out more about social tourism. Our above column and use of the following items from Bangladesh context may offer a very useful perspective that can immensely help our current ongoing drive to increase national income from tourism by the use of "social tourism". Please share your ideas.

If you thought some of the ideas are worth of your reading time, please forward it to others. If you have an ear to the columnists in regular traditional media, please forward it to them. If you have an ear to the journalists and news editors of the electronic media, discuss it with them. Hope they would look at the suggestions and give due diligence.

Thanks for your time,
