[chottala.com] Fwd: Nation of Islam's Founder Was Ahmadiyya/Qadiyani

Fw: [Revealing_the_truth] File - Towards Understanding Qadiyaniat.....Beware !!!

A Concise History of The Nation of Islam and its Evolution

The Lost-Found Nation of Islam in the Wilderness of North America (NOI) was established in 1933 by two men who would make a tremendous impact upon the course of African American history. In doing so, they would in fact, change the course of both race relations and religion in America.

One was an immigrant from (what is today known as) Pakistan , India , named Wallace D. Fard (pronounced "Fa-ROD"). Fard's real identity is not definitively known. Alternative names on record include Wallace/Wallie Dodd Ford, Wallace Dodd, Wallie Dodd Fard, W.D. Fard, David Ford-el, Wali Farad, Farrad Mohammed and F. Mohammed Ali. Within the NOI he is generally known as Master Fard Muhammad. The other was his student, Elijah Poole

In 1925, Mr. Poole moved his family from Deep Step, Georgia to Detroit , Michigan in hopes of better employment opportunities. However the infamous Wall Street Crash, which began in New York City in 1929 and lasted throughout most of the 1930's, had made already bad economic conditions much worse.  This event was also called "The Great Depression" because of the monetarily depleting domino effect it caused throughout the industrialized world (particularly the United States and Europe). Wealthy European Americans were found jumping out of windows and off of bridges after losing their money behind this financially catastrophic event.

Elijah Poole was now in worse shape in the North than he was in the South. This situation led to his developing a dependency on cigarettes and alcohol. Because of his unemployment, Elijah's family had to subsist on welfare and other handouts. Oft-times he was embarrassed to even come home and face his family and would get drunk until he passed out on the street. On more than one occasion, his wife Clara would have to find him and carry him home on her shoulders.

Right smack in the middle of this economic melee appears Mr. W.D. Fard also known as "Master Fard Muhammad". In 1930, he worked as a door to door seller of silks and African artifacts. Mr. Fard must have had tremendous faith in the viability of his products to attempt selling them to the poorest people in the most deprived neighborhoods during a major economic depression. W. D. Fard also had another agenda. As he would go from poor home to poorer home, he would also tell the people stories relating to what he called the black man's "true" history and culture.

Mr. Fard was a member of the Ahmadiyya Anjuman community of Muslims that were popular throughout the African American communities of cities like Detroit, Chicago, and Newark at that time. Although there were "Sunni" Muslims in these cities also, many of them feared deportation or even death at the hands of the U.S. government for espousing the religion of Islam in public.

Although most traditional Muslims consider Ahmadiyya Muslims to be outside the fold of "true" Islam, it was Ahmadiyya Muslims, on the most part, who were bold enough to set up shop and teach throughout the ghettos of America back then. In any case, Mr. Fard's goals for the African American community were obviously bigger than even his interest in Ahmadiyya ideology because, except for the English language translation of the Qur'an by the popular Ahmadiyya translator Maulana Muhammad Ali, he chose not to leave any noticeable vestiges of Ahmadiyyah thought in the teachings passed on to the man who would later become Elijah Muhammad.

Although Elijah's father, William Poole, was a popular Baptist preacher, Elijah had serious problems with the way Christianity was being presented and accepted in the black community.  There were so many unanswered questions in Elijah's mind, when it came to Christianity's explanations of events in history among other things. Although he was a very poor reader, Elijah struggled through the pages of the Bible for himself (with help from his older sister, Annie) and was at odds with many of the interpretations that were given of people and concepts in his Holy Book. Oft-times he would verbally disagree with and challenge his father's Biblical analysis, but never in a disrespectful or insulting way.

Clara Poole was the first to hear the enigmatic teachings of Mr. Fard when she was invited by a girlfriend of hers to hear him at a local residence. Clara enthusiastically brought the message back to her husband. The things that she shared with Elijah from Mr. Fard's presentation actually gelled with some of the conclusions Elijah had drawn from his study of the Bible. He immediately decided to attend the very next meeting. After attending, Elijah became a devout student of Mr. Fard's and was under his direct tutelage for the next 3 ½ years. Mr. Fard changed Elijah's surname to "Kareem" and Elijah himself changed it finally to "Mohammed" (later to be spelt "Muhammad"). The rest would become history.

Mr. Fard taught from information that he had compiled into a series of booklets called "English Lessons". However, he told Elijah Muhammad and his wife Clara Muhammad, that they were to produce children who would be taught from the Muslim Holy Book called the Qur'an and that those children would be taught that Book in its original language of Arabic (Arabiyya). He asked specifically that they name the child whom Clara was pregnant with at the time (in 1933), after his first name and initial which was "Wallace D." This child grew to be our leader, Imam Wallace (Warith) D. Mohammed.  He was the first child born in his family with the name "Mohammed" on his birth certificate.  Only Elijah and Clara's next and youngest child, Akbar, shares that same distinction.

Mr. W. D. Fard taught Elijah on subjects that were mostly a mixture of Islamic, meta-physical and black-nationalist concepts. By 'meta-physical', we mean that he used physical objects and events to signify mental, moral and spiritual ideas. It is also important to note that most of his narratives were interspersed with Islamic phrases and terminology although they were not the teachings of Al-Islam per se. In fact, much of it was diametrically opposed to what Al-Islam espouses.

During this time, African Americans were called 'Colored" and "Negro" by European American racist society. According to Mr. Fard, his teachings were designed to awaken the so-called Negro to the "truth" of himself and others. If it did nothing else, it got Elijah "Poole" off of alcohol dependency and got his family off of the soup and welfare lines. Next, we will examine the process by which this occurred.

Mr. Fard considered blacks to be "Original People" who, as in past history according to his eschatology, would again rule the world with justice–after the "destruction of the white man's civilization". Whites of America and Europe, according to Mr. Fard, were considered to be "grafted devils" that were genetically cloned by a "black scientist named Yakub approximately 6,000 years ago on the Greek island of Patmos".  Mr. Fard developed a slew of such myths and presented them as literal facts. These myths would later be interpreted by Imam W. D. Mohammed as "picture language" which spoke great wisdom through its symbolism.

After establishing "temples" (later known as "mosques") with Mr. Muhammad in Detroit, Chicago and Milwaukee, Mr. Fard chose Elijah Muhammad to be his "Supreme Minister" and leader by proxy to the 25,000 followers Mr. Fard had garnered in 3 ½ years of his hands-on leadership. The threat of deportation loomed heavily over Mr. Fard's head after having been arrested and imprisoned on several occasions. Then in April 1934 he left the United States for Mexico, as far as could be determined. Clara would receive several postcards from that country in his name; especially after Wallace D. was born.

Wallace D. Mohammed was born on October 30th, 1933, in Hamtramck, Michigan, a suburb of Detroit. Wallace D. was the seventh child born to Elijah and Clara Muhammad. As mentioned earlier, W. D. Fard and the younger Mohammed shared the same first name and middle initial. This is because Mr. Fard predicted that the child Clara was carrying at the time would be a boy and should be named after him. Mr. Fard instructed the family to write the name "Wallace D" on the wall behind a door in one of the bedrooms–in chalk. They were told to never let the name fade from the wall.  As the chalk began to fade, they would remind each other to re-trace the name over and over again. Furthermore, Mr. Fard predicted that "When Wallace D. turns 40 he will help his father in his work."

Elijah Muhammad was astute enough to read into the innuendos left within the Lessons and, after Mr. Fard's sudden disappearance in 1934, Mr. Muhammad deemed himself to be the "messenger" of that one who taught him and took him off of the soup and welfare lines. W. D. Fard (aka Master Fard Muhammad) became known as "Allah in person" and Elijah Muhammad was his "messenger". This idea would permeate the minds and hearts of the followers within the Nation of Islam and would become the most predominant feature of their propagation efforts until February of 1975.

Mr. Fard had saw fit to prepare others for leadership also, however, his personal choice was Elijah. Following Mr. Fard's departure, serious rivalry developed, forcing Elijah to flee the Midwest region for his life. His journeying would land him in the area of Washington, D.C. where he would establish Temple # 4 – an institution which was actually built from the ground up under Mr. Muhammad's directives. Unfortunately, the racist and anti-Muslim climate which prevailed during that time kept Elijah Muhammad and his fledgling organization (which had dwindled down to less than 300 people) smack-dab within the radar of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) headed by the late and infamous J. Edgar Hoover.

Mr. Hoover, who became well-known for employing numerous counter-intelligence operations against people of color, sent agents to arrest Mr. Muhammad in 1942 for "draft evasion" (although he was technically one year over the age of draft) and for "contributing to the delinquency of a minor" (for not allowing the children in the NOI to attend public schools). Elijah Muhammad would be convicted and spend five years in prison at Sandstone Correctional Institution in Sandstone, Minnesota, but by the time he was released in 1948 for "good behavior," he had also established temple services in prison. It is not widely known that, Clara would run the affairs of the NOI in his absence through correspondence with him. During this stint in prison, he would unfortunately develop or have exacerbated certain health problems such as asthma and bronchitis that would plaque him for the rest of his career. Once out of prison, Elijah firmly established himself in Chicago and in the next few years would be introduced to one who would become the single most effective representative of the Nation of Islam at that time: Minister Malcolm X Shabazz.

Another little known fact is that, Clara Muhammad is the mother of home schooling in the United Sates. What would later become the "University of Islam" (although a grade school, it was called a university) began in her living room during this period. Wallace D. himself was home-schooled until the age of 10, after which he was then allowed to attend the University of Islam which by that time had become officially and independently established. During one particular occasion, a local policeman and truant officer had come by Clara Muhammad's home in an effort to force her to return the children to public school. They threatened her with everything they could think of, but she would not open the front door past the crack which she used to speak to them from behind. 10 year old Wallace D. stood by his mother's side as her defender during this exchange. The officers could see Wallace D. peeking at them from behind the crack also and this enraged them to the point where they then threatened to bust in and take the children by force. Mrs. Muhammad calmly opened the door until it was wide enough for them both to come through; but she admonished them first by stating, "There's one of them right there (pointing to Wallace). But, I'll tell ya, I'm ready to die as dead as this door wood if you put your hands on any of my children!" The officers turned beet red, mumbled a few more words and then walked away infuriated.

Wallace and his younger brother Akbar were the main ones in the family to learn how to read the Qur'an in its native language of Arabic. Their father was wise enough to hire an Arabic instructor, Dr. Jamil Diab, a native of Palestine, to teach at the University of Islam in Chicago, Illinois. Akbar's forte was grammar while Wallace's was translation into English and interpretation of meanings. Despite the prediction by Mr. Fard, as a young adult, Wallace D. Mohammed would be ex-communicated from the NOI on at least three different occasions for disagreeing with the concept of G-d as espoused in the Lessons. These Lessons clearly suggested that Mr. Fard was G-d incarnate (in the flesh), although he himself never made such a direct statement. He was, however, spoken of as a "prophet" in several of their early periodicals. Both ideas are spoken against in strong terms in our Holy Book, the Qur'an.

When Wallace D. turned 25, he was appointed by his father to be the minister at Philadelphia's Mosque # 12. Wallace was arrested not soon afterward for failing to register for selective services. As a member of the NOI, it was unthinkable that a male member would join the armed services to fight on the side of the "devil" against any nation of dark-skinned people. However, during his 3 ½ years of imprisonment, he was able to thoroughly examine the Qur'an and contrast it with the Lessons of "Master Fard Muhammad". This finally convinced him that there was a definite difference in the concept of Allah in the Qur'an when compared with what was being said concerning Mr. W. D. Fard being "Allah in person".

Beginning in 1962, once released and back in his position as minister, Wallace D. Muhammad began to speak to these contrasts, not in a condescending and disparaging way, but in a way to bring gradual understanding of the true message of the Qur'an to the local body of his father's followers. The NOI was going through a severe financial crisis at this time and in order not to lose the people, much of the focus was on keeping the followers enchanted with the core message and teachings of the NOI one of which was "Do For Self". But a contradiction was developing. It seemed as though the bigger the organization grew the more financially depleted it was becoming.

It was obvious to many by now that, some people in situations of authority were taking undue advantage of their positions. Much of the wealth being garnered by the NOI was due to the diligent work of the young and fiery minister, Malcolm X Shabazz, who entered the NOI doors literally straight from prison about a decade earlier, and whose voice had reached many young, zealous, nationalistic and idealistic men and women who themselves began to come into the NOI in droves. There was a tremendous increase in, not only temples/mosques, but also NOI owned businesses, homes and farmland throughout the United States. Malcolm had a way of presenting the "teachings" so that the average person would be "fired up" to do all he or she could in support of Mr. Muhammad's programs. Even a young boxer named Cassius Clay would be affected and infected by Malcolm's veracity so much so that the world would come to know him as the great boxing champion, Muhammad Ali.

As Minister Malcolm X crisscrossed the country representing Elijah Muhammad's leadership, his popularity grew, and so did the jealousies. Some eventually accused Malcolm of trying to take Mr. Muhammad's place. Others felt that, with Mr. Muhammad being sporadically ill, Malcolm was in the most advantageous position to replace him in the event of an untimely death. In addition, Malcolm was thought to be a puritan by some, especially when it came to the handling and/or spending of money. He would personally drive the collections every month from the New York Mosque #7 where he was minister, directly to Elijah Muhammad in Chicago. It was speculated that, if Malcolm X were to become the leader of the Nation of Islam, he would surely tighten up the reins on the loose flow of cash circulating throughout the businesses under the NOI's auspices. This was a period of tremendous strain. Especially for the sincere followers who joined the NOI seeking better understanding of both the religion of "Islam" and ethnic identity as "blacks" in America.

When President John F. Kennedy was felled by snipers' bullets in November of 1962, all NOI ministers were instructed by Elijah Muhammad to make no comments to the press. Malcolm disobeyed the edict and was ex-communicated as was the protocol. Malcolm had excommunicated many at Mosque # 7 for much smaller infractions. However, he found it extremely difficult to stay out of the public eye and away from the media's cameras and microphones as per his instructions from his leader.

Hoover's FBI found it useful to intensify existing tensions between the leader and his ace student. Malcolm, after realizing the futility of his efforts in reconciling with his mentor, would go on to form two organizations: The Muslim Mosque, Inc. as well as the Organization of Afro-American Unity. Tremendous tension continued to mount until on February 21st, 1965, Malcolm X Shabazz was assassinated in cold blood at Harlem's Audubon Ballroom by renegade members of the NOI itself. Two innocent men were convicted of the crime, along with one who was caught at the scene. All of them served over 20 years in prison and all three have accepted Islam proper as it has been taught by Wallace D. Mohammed in the post Elijah Muhammad era. The famed Minister Louis Farrakhan would succeed Malcolm X Shabazz as the National Representative of the NOI.

It should be noted that, during the time of Wallace's excommunication in both the 60s and early 70s, there were assassination attempts on him also. Wallace D. actually started his own organization back in 1964, but disbanded it soon thereafter. Malcolm tried to coax Wallace into joining him as the head of the Muslim Mosque, Inc., but Wallace refused. His interest was in preserving the good work that had been established by the sincere people within the Nation of Islam. These were people he had known all of his life, some of whom had cared for him as a baby, child, and young adult.

In 1972, a meeting was held at the home of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad and on the agenda was statements that Wallace was reported to have made during a recent local radio interview. Much of the interview was spent explaining Al-Islam as it is found in the Qur'an and the life example of Muhammed the Prophet. He barely spoke on the version of "Islam" that Mr. Fard had imparted upon his father. Mr. Muhammad heard excerpts from that taped interview at the meeting. At first, his already light-complexioned face completely lost its color; he then clapped his hands together and, although sickly, he jumped up from his chair and declared, "My son's got it! Boy, you can go anywhere on this earth and teach that gospel." It seemed that, after Malcolm's death, and after some serious soul-searching, Elijah Muhammad began to realize that Wallace Muhammad did indeed represent the "help" that Mr. Fard had instructed him to look for close to 40 years ago. Wallace Mohammed turned 40 on October 30th, 1973.

A young Louis FarrakhanThe Honorable Elijah Muhammad would pass from this life on February 25th, 1975. The very next day, on February 26th, 1975, "Supreme Minister" Wallace D. Muhammad (later to be spelt "Mohammed") succeeded his father as leader of the Lost-Found Nation of Islam in the Wilderness of North America. The younger Muhammad's succession was the result of majority consent from rank and file followers of the NOI as well as the leadership of the majority of ministers and officials. Among those who consented was Minister Louis Farrakhan, who was now the International Representative of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad.

On January 15th, 1975 in Harlem, New York, one month prior to Elijah's passing, Minister Farrakhan told a group of NOI followers that, "Wallace D. Muhammad has more wisdom in his pinky than I have in my whole being." The minister then related to his audience that, in 1965, he commented to Elijah Muhammad how insightful he believed Wallace to be—especially in terms of his knowledge of the Qur'an. Farrakhan said that Mr. Muhammad then replied, "If you think he's something now, wait until you see him ten years from now."

Towards Understanding Qadiyaniat

Purpose:

The purpose of this Article is to forewarn the Muslims lest they are caught in the evil trap of Qadianism due to their ignorance.

To a Muslim, Islam is the force of his life. It is a spiritual light of his heart and also an outside visible sign too. Islam is the substance and rule of his life. A Muslim lives by his faith in Islam and he dies by his faith in Islam. There are two principles of Muslim faith. One is that ALLAH is ONE and ONE alone, and the second is that Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon Him) is the seal of prophethood. (Surah Al Ahzaab 33:40) No other prophet would come after him.

Muslims love their leader Prophet Muhammad Peace Be upon Him more than their own lives. Muhammad P.B.U.H. exercises enormous influence upon his followers. Muslims follow him. He is their unquestioned leader and a supreme guide in all matters worldly and spiritual. The spiritual bond between Muhammad P.B.U.H and Muslims is very strong and secure. To Muslims Prophet Muhammad P.B.U.H is the best example of a human being and he is the most beautiful person amongst all peoples of the world.

Prophet Muhammad P.B.U.H has changed their lives, customs, character, dress and food. He pulled them from darkness into light. Through Qur'aan he gave them intellectual and spiritual awakening to make life successful and meaningful in. this world and even beyond. He gave them a spiritual identity.

The Spiritual Magnet
To Muslims Prophet Muhammad P.B.U.H is a spiritual magnet, Muslims from all corners of world converge to his name. This strange and willing subjugation of Muslims around him is a very unique strange phenomenon of human history- the like of which has not been known or heard before.

This spiritually strong bond has remained a matter of discussion and study amongst the scholars of philosophy and social sciences of the West for a long tune.

Birth of Qadiyaa-niat

One Mirza Ghulam Ahmed (The Servant of Ahmed) came to attack upon Muslim Religious Frontiers from within. The then British rule in India supported and nourished this movement to bring about this crack as all previous attacks to bring about a crack in this spiritual bond had failed.

Thus Mirza Ghulam Ahmed (M.G.A. 1839-1908) was to defile and desecrate Muslims faith which they had upheld for the last 1300 years. M G.A. declared that he was a new prophet "Wahees" through one angel named "Tochy Tochy." He said that after his arrival Prophet Muhammad P.B.U.H. has gone in the list of past bygone prophets. He claimed that he was superior to previous prophets all put together.

This imposter prophet of deceit and camouflage then named himself as Muitamir~ad (of Qadian). To compound his fraud he then adopted Kalima -i-Tayyiba to himself. LAA ILAIIA IL LAL LAAHA, MUHAMMADUR RASOO LUL LAAH (There is no god worthy of worship exéept ALLAH, and Muhammad is HIS Messenger). (To Qadianis Muhammad means Muhammad of Qadian)

Mirza Ghulam Ahmed Called Himself Rasoo Lul Laah

Then he declared that the whole of Qur~aan was rerevealed upon him once again at his village Qadian!

Then lie changed the meanines of a number of

Quraanic Aavats to suit his ideosyncracics.

Then he called the people of his community -Qadinees as true Muslims and declared the rest of

Muslim Ummah as Kafirs! The truth is that neither Qadianees believe in Islam nor they are Muslims. M,G.A (Mirza Ghulam Ahmed) camouflaged himself and his Qadiani Movement. For this he adopted all those Muslim titles and epithets which Muslims use for their revered pious personalities e.g. Huzoor, Wahee, Sal Lal Laahu ~Alai hi Wa Sallam, Sunnat. Ahle Bait, Razi ALLAHU Anho, Ummul Momineen etc. The idea was to deceive and cheat through lies.

Mirza Ghulam Ahmed  called this deviated form of worship as namaz, called his place of worship as mosQue and a call to prayer as Azan. All this was Ofli~ to deceive people that they should think that Qadinees are good practising Muslims. Some igiiorant people were caught in their net. Inside their heart is hatred and enmity against Muslims and Islam.

M.G.A. Declared Jihad-as Unnecessary

Mirza Ghulam Ahmed  did not understand the difference between a ~var for worldly purposes and a Jihad Fee Sehee Lil Laah (In the cause of ALLAH). To Muslims Jihad is an important item of their faith. In Qur'aan there are 33 Aayats on Jihad. Giving up Jihad becomes the cause of all defeats whether political. economical or ideological. A single day spent in the vigilance of Islamic frontiers is better than a full life span of worldly life. A martyr is forgiven by ALLAH the moment he enters his grave and he is shown his place in heaven, A martyr remains alive, getting sustenance front his -Rah. Those who strive through their wealth and life in the cause of ALLAH. ALLAH then shows them the way to success in life. Jihad is success, honour dignity and life itself amongst nat io ii s.

Mirza Ghulam Ahmed was Seven in One

M.G.A. first declared himself as Mujaddid (Renovator), then. a Mohaddad (Holder of conversatton with ALLAH), then a Muhlam (receiver of Divine Revelations), then a Misaale Maseeh (Likeness of Jesus). then a Maseeh Mow'ood (reincarnated Jesus), then a Mahdee (reformer of the last days). M.G.A. s thirst for self glorification did not get quenched there. He claimed that he was the embodiment/incarnation of Prophet Muhammad P.B.U.H. He spoke lies. M.G.A. called people to believe in him, or else he threatened them that they will go to hell (as if he is one to decide). Those who disagreed with him, he abused them mouthfully. He called them that they were the sons and daughters of prostitutes and whores. In desperation he also used abusive language against Jesus and also against pious and revered personalities of Islam including Able Bait.

Never call Qadianees I Mirzais As

Ahmadees

Qadianees/Mirzais should never be called Ahmadees because the other name of Prophet Muhammad P.B.U.H. is Ahmed. Surely Qadianees are not proAhrned. They ate in fact anti-Ahrned. They desecrate and try to demolish the religion of Islam.

Qadianees Pose As Muslims

Qadianecs pose as Muslims which they are not. They cheat others by saying that they also recite Kalima Tayviba. (But in the name of Muhammad of Qadian). They say that they also recite Qur~aan. (But their lnternret-dtion of certain A) aa~ i' different). They say that they also say prayers, observe fasts and all other Islamic rituals and customs. But they are hypocrites. Within their hearts they are anti-Prophet Muhammad P.B.U.H. They are anti-Muslim and antiIslam. They want to destroy Muslim Ummah through the support of enemical forces against Islam. A Qadianee has a viper up his sleeve. They receive money to sabotage Muslim interests. Qadianees are in Israeli Sect-ct Service. Roles of Zafarullah Khan, MM. Ahmed, Waqar Ahmed, Air Marshal Zafar Choudhry and many senior Army, Navy, Air Force, Central and Provincial Government Officers are an eye opener. Muslims should always remain on guard less any harm or espionage or sabotage is done to their world wide causes. A Qadianee is not a Muslim and a Muslim can not be a Qadianee.

A Qadiani is a "Kafir" of the lowest order known as "Zindeeq" because they cause damage from within. They do not say their prayers behind a Muslim Imam nor raise their hands for prayer behind him. They do not marry amongst Muslims and they do not attend Muslim funerals.

Decision of World Muslim Conference

Therefore Rabita Alam-e-Islam convened a conforence at Meeca which was attended by 144 Muslim Religious Organisations of Islamic countries from Morocco to Indonesia. The conference adopted a unanimous resolution which said:-"Qadianiat is a false movement which under the guise of Islam, and for the sake of financial interests, contrives and plans to damage the foundation of Islam". Therefore, the World Muslim Conference resolved that:-

(a)       Qadianees/MirZaiS/LahOrees should be declared "Kafirs" non-Muslims and be ex~communicated from the field of Islam.

(b)       All Muslim countries should keep a vigil and a watch over all Qadiani activities, traps and conspiracies.

(c)       Qadianees were debarred from entering Harmain Shareefain at Mecca.

(d)       Muslims should avoid social, political and matrimonial dealings with QuadianeeS.

(e)       Ulemas should inform and forewarn Muslims about "KUFR" in their Friday sermons.

Preaching of Qadianiat is Punishable-Three Years Imprisonment

In 1952 Aalami Majlis Tahaffuz-e-Khatme Nubuwwat was established to save Muslims from becoming Kafirs.

In 1953 Anti-Qadiafli riots took place in Lahore/Pufljab when about 10,000 people were killed.

In 1974 Pakistan National Assembly declared Qadianees as Kafirs and Constitution of Pakistan was changed through Article 260.

In 1980 yet another Article to the Constitution was introduced which debarred all courts including Supreme Court of Pakistan from entertaining any proceedings in respect to Qadianees.

In .1984 ordinance 20 to Pakistan Penal Code was issued which prescribed three years imprisonment and a fine if a Qadiani.

(a)        Poses himself as a Muslim thereby deceiving and misleading people. or

(b)        Calls his Qadiani faith as Islam. or

(c)        Calls Mirza Ghulam Ahmed as Muhammadur Rasoo Lu! Laah. or

(d)        Invites Muslims to become Qadianis. or

(e)        Calls Azan with a design to deceive others, or

(f)         Calls his place of worship as Masjid. or

(g)        Uses Muslim personalities titles and epithets for M.G.A. or for his family or for his disciples e.g. Huzoor, Salal Laahu 'Alai hi Wa Sallam, Sunnat (of M.G.A.) Wahee, Ummul Momineen, Ahle.-Bait, Razi ALLAHU Anho and Sahabee etc. Use of all these Muslim titles is prohibited. or

(i)         Uses any insulting or abusive language against Islamic personalities and Qur'aanic

Injunctions, or

(j)         Declares that Qur'aan was re-revealed on

M.G.A.

If any Muslim is having any problem with a Qadiani, he should just ring any office-bearer of Tahaffuze-Khatme Nubuwwat. They will look after your problem

"WA MAA 'ALAI NAA IL LAL BALAA GHUL MUBEEN"

And our duty is to convey the message clearly

(Qur'aan: Surah Yaa seen 36:17)

French bid to ban niqab worries allies, tourists

By ELAINE GANLEY | AP
PARIS: Protests in Pakistan, Al-Qaeda warnings, skittish Muslim tourists: France's plan to do away with the niqab is already reverberating far beyond its borders.
A bill to outlaw face veils, aimed at upholding French republican values, is expected to win Senate approval this month. If it passes this key hurdle, French diplomats will face a tough task ensuring the ban doesn't alienate governments, deter devout foreign shoppers loaded with cash, or provoke extremists.
It's a complex challenge for a country that works relentlessly to preserve its global diplomatic influence, its cherished secular ideals, and its status as the world's top tourist destination.
Ensuring gender equality, woman's dignity and security are the official reasons France wants to outlaw the niqab.
Authorities insist the global ban — which would include visiting foreigners — is not anti-Muslim.
But that message has failed to convince some governments, be they Western or France's traditional Arab allies, or trickle down to moneyed travelers who swarm Paris' so-called Golden Triangle, a high-priced shopping district centered around the Champs-Elysees.
That some other European countries like Belgium are considering similar legislation — and Muslim countries like Syria and Egypt have instituted their own limited bans on face veils — may help bolster the French argument, but not win the debate.
"When you're a tourist, you want to go to places you feel you are welcome," said Dalal Saif of Oman, during a three-week summer visit to France.
Saif, whose work is tied to the oil industry, spent hours one day with his family selecting perfumes and cosmetics by the bagful at a Champs-Elysees store.
"If they feel unwelcome, France will lose this kind of revenue," he said, adding that such a measure "infringes on (France's) image as custodians, protectors of liberties." The number of visitors to Paris from the Middle East was up nearly 30 percent in the first half of 2010 compared to last year, according to the Paris Tourism and Congress Office.
"I can see that many families will actually change destinations because of this," said Saif, standing by his young daughter, black-robed but bare-faced sister, and wife wearing a chartreuse head scarf.
Many Muslim tourists who wear the  niqab at home shed them for European vacations, instead donning stylish, often brightly colored headscarves, sometimes paired with big sunglasses.
But that choice doesn't erase a sense that France is offending Muslims with its proposed veil ban.
"My family is asking me 'why do you want to go there? They don't like us."' said Maryam Saeed, a 40-year-old mother of four who works in school administration in Dubai.
"They are taking it religiously, like it shows that in France they don't like Muslims or we're not welcome here," said Saeed, covered in a black abaya cloaking her head but not her face, as she emerged from a shopping spree at the Paris department store Galeries Lafayette.
So far, foreign governments are either silent over the proposed veil ban, divided or unfavorable, said Joseph Maila, who heads a year-old division at the French Foreign Ministry devoted to religious issues.
Some of France's closest allies, Britain and the United States, both with large Muslim populations, are among those who publicly disagree with Paris.
On the veil, "the world isn't black and white," said Maila, "it's gray." Moderate Muslim leaders in France and elsewhere agree that Islam does not require women to cover their faces, but many are uncomfortable with banning the niqab. Scores of religious leaders have denounced the measure, and are struggling with what to advise the faithful.
Opposition is strongest in Pakistan, where there have been demonstrations against the measure. A defense of the French position by Ambassador Daniel Jouanneau was published in nine papers this summer, said Maila, the Foreign Ministry official.
In Jordan, where full veils are rare, the Muslim Brotherhood, the country's largest opposition group, said Muslim women should continue to visit France "especially if they have business to attend to." But the group's spokesman Jamil Abu-Bakr said: "The French move will cause chaos and we condemn it." European countries that impose a ban on the face-covering veil "will harm their interests, friendships and historically cordial neighborly relations with several Muslim nations."
Beyond such tensions, possible constitutional challenges await an eventual law. But the French are not about to budge. The nation's concept of integration, in which ethnic or religious differences are subsumed by Frenchness, is the ultimate argument for making the face visible.
"To understand the ban on hiding the face, it must be placed in the French tradition... to hide behind the veil is to barricade oneself against society," said Maila.
Raphael Liogier, a sociology professor who runs the Observatory of the Religious in Aix-en-Provence, fears that France will isolate itself with the measure and, worse, become a "justifiable target" in the eyes of extremists. "It's an opportunity for them."
The No. 2 of Al-Qaeda, Ayman Al-Zawahri, said the drive by France and other European nations to ban the niqab amounted to discrimination against Muslim women. "Every single woman who defends her veil is a holy warrior... in the face of the secular Western crusade," he said in an audio message released July 28.

White House welcomes Shariah finance specialist

Obama selects Muslim expert in Islamic transactions as fellow

The Obama administration has announced its appointment of 13 White House fellows – and the first person featured on its short list is a Muslim attorney who specializes in Shariah-compliant transactions.
"This year's White House fellows are comprised of some of the best and brightest leaders in our country," Michelle Obama said in the June 22 announcement. "I applaud their unyielding commitment to public service and dedication to serving their community."

White House fellows spend a year as full-time, paid assistants to senior White House staff, the vice president, Cabinet secretaries and senior administration officials.

Samar Ali of Waverly, Tenn., is the first name appearing on the White House list. She is an associate with the law firm Hogan Lovells – a firm that claims to have advised on more than 200 Islamic finance transactions with an aggregate deal value in excess of $40 billion.

According to Ali's biography posted on the White House website, "She is responsible for counseling clients on mergers & acquisitions, cross-border transactions, Shariah-compliant transactions, project finance and international business matters. During her time with Hogan Lovells, she has been a founding member of the firm's Abu Dhabi office."
Hogan Lovells lists Ali's experience "advising a Middle Eastern university in the potential establishment of a Foreign Aid Conventional and Shariah Compliant Student Loan Program and advising a Middle Eastern client in relation to a U.S. government subcontract matter."
"Our team members are at the forefront of developments in the Islamic finance industry," Hogan Lovells boasts. "We help set standards for the sector. We have also advised on numerous first-of-their-kind transactions, such as the first convertible Sukuk, the first equity-linked Sukuk, the first Shariah-compliant securitization, the first international Sukuk al-mudaraba and Sukuk al-musharaka, the first Sukuk buyback and the first Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency guaranteed Islamic project financing."

Ali also clerked for Judge Gilbert S. Merritt of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and Judge Edwin Cameron, now of the Constitutional Court of South Africa.

Promoting Islam and Shariah
The White House notes that Ali also led the YMCA Israeli-Palestinian Modern Voices for Progress Program and is a founding member of the first U.S. Delegation to the World Islamic Economic Forum. Ali was listed as a member of the British delegation to the World Islamic Economic Forum in 2009 and as a U.S. delegate in 2010.

Shariah Finance Watch blog noted, "[I]t was at the World Islamic Economic Forum where key leaders declared Shariah finance to be "dawa" (missionary) activity to promote Islam and Shariah."
In fact, the president of Indonesia, H. Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, delivered a March 2, 2009, keynote address to Islamic leaders at the World Islamic Economic Forum in Jakarta during which he called for Islamic banks to do "missionary work in the Western world."

"Islamic banking should now be able to take a leadership position in the banking world," he said. "Islamic banks have been much less affected by the financial meltdown than the conventional banks – for the obvious reason that Shariah banks do not indulge in investing in toxic assets and in leveraged funds. They are geared to supporting the real economy." He added, "Islamic bankers should therefore do some missionary work in the Western world to promote the concept of Shariah banking, for which many in the West are more than ready now."

'We didn't consider terrorists to be Muslims'
Ali received her law degree from Vanderbilt Law School ( http://sitemason.vanderbilt.edu/myvu/news/2010/06/30/samar-ali-class-of-2006-appointed-white-house-fellow.118551 ) and served as the first Arab-Muslim student body president at Vanderbilt. She has interned for the Islamic International Arab Bank in Amman, Jordan.
According to Vanderbilt Law School, Ali's mother immigrated to the U.S. from Syria, and her father is Palestinian. He left the West Bank town of Ramallah at age 17.

America.gov reported that Ali said her parents taught her to "never forget where we came from and to never forget where we are now." "I will always be Arab and I will always be American and I will always be Muslim," she said.
Ali spoke out at a campus memorial service days after the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.
"In my opinion," she told the Washington File, "Al-Qaida is trying to ruin Islam's reputation and we are simply not going to let them win this fight. If someone has a political agenda, they need to call it what it is, and not disguise it in the name of a religion or use the religion to achieve their political goals. This is simply unacceptable."

While she said she grieved the loss of thousands of American lives, Ali told the File she grew concerned about whether Americans would assume that she, as a Muslim and Arab-American, approved of those attacks.

"Thus, I was worried that many of my fellow citizens would not realize that just because my friends and I are Muslims and Arabs did not mean that we were part of or even agreed with the terrorists who caused September 11," she said. "We didn't even consider the terrorists to be Muslims. I was worried that people would confuse Islam with Osama bin Ladin and his agenda, that they would confuse his agenda as the agenda of all believers in Islam."

[chottala.com] Understanding Islamic Finance

States

Understanding Islamic Finance
TAP talks with Frank Vogel about Sharia-compliant finance, the financial crisis, and why banking is a chance to engage with the Islamic world.
| web only
During Elena Kagan's confirmation hearings, conservatives accused Kagan of being

Harvard Gazette: Crash course
Frank Vogel, former director of Harvard Law School's Islamic Legal Studies Program (Harvard Gazette/Stephanie Mitchell)
sympathetic to imposition of strict, Taliban-style Islamic law in the United States because an Islamic-finance study program was established at Harvard University during her time as dean.

The American Prospect (TAP) caught up with Frank Vogel, an Islamic legal scholar who helped establish that program, at a recent forum on Islamic finance being held at George Washington University Law School by the Qatar Business Council and Arab Bankers Association of North America. When it comes to Islamic Finance, Vogel says, Americans have nothing to worry about.

What is Islamic/Sharia-compliant finance?
Islamic finance is conducting finance in compliance with the rulings of the traditional Islamic law as to commerce and investment and property.
Where does Islamic finance come from?
Well, in the '50s, people were thinking as Muslims about how they should engage with modern finance. So a number of theories came out about what Islamic law's requirements are as to finance. These were inspired mainly by the prohibition on collecting and charging interest in the Qu'ran.
How is it different from secular finance?
The difference is, for example, that they don't charge interest. They can't indulge in some particularly risky or speculative transactions. There's actually a whole long list of requirements, such as not selling debt, that are derived from these basic prohibitions against interest taking and against excessive risk. So because of those specific rulings, they have to design the transactions in slightly different ways.
For example, rather than borrowing money to buy some goods, they'll have the bank buy the goods and then resell the goods to the customer, so the bank becomes involved as an owner at one stage of the transaction. That makes it lawful, from the Islamic perspective. Whereas if the bank lent the money to the customer, that's an interest-bearing loan, and that's not allowed. So they use slightly different routes, typically involving ownership of goods at some point, to achieve finance.
The New World of Islamic Legal Studies
Why is it important for Western institutions, for example GWU, to teach Islamic finance?
Islamic finance is becoming extremely important in various parts of the world. It's shaping economies. Islamic finance is the most rapidly growing part of the finance industry throughout Southeast Asia, throughout the Arabian Gulf region, throughout the Arab world. Islamic banks are cropping up everywhere, in the UK, France, Germany. In fact, Europe is far ahead of the United States in this respect. There's been very little action in the United States. It's a lucrative field in finance, and it's rapidly growing. And many, many people want to get involved in it.
Why would, say, a non-Muslim American or student want to learn about Islamic finance?
Well, he would one day, perhaps, be advising an American company interested in developing business or investing abroad, and the foreign party wants to finance it by Sharia-compliant, Islamic-compliant banks, so he needs to have some idea of what Islamic-compliant investment is. Particularly if you're going to work in the Arabian Gulf, you have to know something about Islamic finance.
Is Islamic finance compatible with secular finance?
Totally. In fact, one of the criticisms of it these days is that it's too similar. Most financial transactions can be Sharia compliant with just a few changes and slight difference in the structuring. They're becoming closer and closer and closer to conventional finance.
Does America have to change its finance laws in order to deal with Islamic-finance companies?
No. There are many Sharia-compliant companies operating now within the United States. Most spheres of finance are quite possible according to Islamic principles already. There are a few areas where it poses a bit of a difficulty. For example, deposit insurance as a requirement for banking in the U.S. Islamically, it's difficult to arrange insurance deposits.
You mentioned that a lot of non-Muslims are starting to invest in Sharia-complaint finance products. What is it that interests people?
People were interested, first, in the good returns that some of these funds have had, and second, I think that they're interested in the social-investing part. Islamic funds cannot invest in alcohol, gambling, arms, a list of objections. And because of that, they really are classified as social-investment vehicles.
You mentioned earlier that Islamic-finance companies suffered less during the financial crisis.
Yeah, if Islamic law was applied pretty strictly, it would have been impossible for Islamic banks to be involved in any kind of derivatives, any seriously speculative transactions, in debt securitization, in the pyramiding of debt, in the credit-default swaps; all these things would have not been possible at all for Islamic banks. Although practices were beginning to head in that direction, they hadn't gone very far. So Islamic banks, basically, were still banking quite conservatively and came through relatively unscathed.
Can an Islamic-compliant bank function in the U.S.?
Yes. Well, as a bank, not yet. We were discussing this earlier, and apparently there are no Islamic banks as such yet in the United States. And I suspect the problem is as much as anything the deposit insurance requirement -- the Federal Deposit Insurance Company insurance requirement. But there are a lot of banking activities going on, on both the deposit and investment sides in the United States, and there are a lot of non-bank or investment-company activities going on. So there's a lot of Islamic finance happening.
In establishing a study program for Islamic, Sharia-compliant finance, are you trying to facilitate an Islamic takeover of the United States?
[Laughs] No. Islamic finance is one of the most opportune ways to engage with the Islamic world right now if you are concerned about terrorism. It strengthens economic links, it is being put forward by sort of the most Western-leaning individuals throughout the Muslim world, it draws them closer to the Western financial system. There are many, many aspects of it that are extremely favorable to a Western point of view. It's worlds apart from anything related to terrorism.
Why should we believe you?
I have no particular stake in the matter! [Laughs] I'm not a practitioner of Islamic finance; I have no interest in it financially or personally. I just happen to be a student of Islamic law, and I see the virtues of Islamic law to a great degree. And this is a particularly opportune development of Islamic law. It leads to successful application of Islamic law in today's world. As it develops and becomes better adapted to the modern world, we could hope for similar developments in areas like family, family law, international law, human rights, and things like that.

[chottala.com] Eid Mubarak To All

Emacs!

RE: [chottala.com] Mr Aslam. ... reply to Dina Khan !

Dear Dina,

What Islam means and Islam does are two different things.

You potray Islam in one manner while in reality it does not even come near to what you tried to impress.

If you care to know that Bangladesh was created for all Bangalees and not for any particular religion, it does not matter whether that particular religion is majority or not. Politics based on religion is a dangerous thing. Everybody should practice their faith in mosques, temples and churches and not in the streets. Why make one religion supercedes others?

Unfortunately Islam does not give real justice or freedom to anyone, let me give you some example:

1. Everyone, irrespective of their religious faith can visit any religious places of Hindus, Christians and others, while non-muslims are restricted to visit Mecca and Kaba, why is that?

2. In Bangladesh, most Ahmedis are percecuted by Muslims, no local leaders ever protest such barbaric events. In Afganistan the Islamic Taliban blew out the Buddha statues, I did not hear any Muslim outcry over this tragic event. Just imagine if any Non-Muslim group blow out any Islamic shrines, what whould the result be? I hear that even if there are silly rumours of insulting Islam, the many Muslims goes crazy and kills innocent people. A few months ago a Christian family was butchered in Pakistan, based on rumours.
In Many Islamic countries the female must wear some kind of Muslim attire, according to their country laws, why is that? Are these justice for all?

In any democratic country, should anytime the Mollas come to power by elctions, what wold happen? They would change the entire stucture of the country, they would cHANGE THE LAWS, the Constitution and every other things possible. Every political party would ne banned and we all must live the strict Islamic way.

Therefore, all religious party should be banned and let the people live in peace. Please do not potray things which are not true just because you beleve in them. Many still belief that the earth is flat and the sun goes round the earth.

Thanks and regards.

Mr. Aslam

You are wasting energy & time for Islam. Do you know? Aim of People's Republic Bangladesh creation is not to destroy Islam in Bangladesh but to establish under lawful administration in the system of lawful democracy social --economical justice which is the basic principle of Islam.

If you are Muslim must know that Islam based on justice of humanity & justice of human right.

In Islam all have equal right as human being.  It does not create division & classes among the human. In Islam for social & economical justice honest earning Jakat Fitra on honest earning is compulsory.  In secularism there is nothing ideological principle only the slogan for humanity & human right for democracy.

Democracy means a system to rule country with majority people's opinion.

It needs to understand that the real democracy has no adjective to say

i)                     Secular democracy or

ii)                    Islamic Democracy or

iii)                   Control democracy or

iv)                   Basic democracy.

Adding any adjective democracy becomes fake democracy & resists democracy not real democracy.

It will be highly appreciated if you be real Bangladeshi try to understand what the real democracy is & suggest the present democratically elected Government administration of Bangladesh that for

Ms Dina Khan

You seem to be totally confused and biased ....
your observation is totally distorted .... as such, you are resorting
to slanders. You may be seeing your own image in your statement:
" ......are suffering in mental diseases for Islam"
You said, I quote:(1) "you can not tolerate the greatness & super quality
of Islam."  where did you find that? [please justify your statement
with evidence, I mean proper reference]

Just go back and check all my postings .....Show me a single
word that I spoke against our religion Islam,
Yes, I am against religion-trading i.e doing politics behind
Islamic lebash ....

You are right when you say "Modudi Nizami Syeedi & others are not the
ideology of Islam they are ...... doing politics in the Name of Islam".
Exactly that was the bottom line of my relevent postings too....

Mainly, the essence of any religion is a belief and faith based ideology.

The concept of "secularism" as understood in the context of Bangladesh
is essentially, a democratic norm that all citizens of the country
are equal in every respect irrespective of religion and personal beliefs.
There should be no second class citizen based on one's religion.
The state will gurrantee freedom of religion, any religion: majoriry or
minority, even a tiny minority ... whatsoever ....

Ms. Dina khan, you will be better appreciated if you stop baseless
slandering either directly or through your innuendoes ..... ....

BTW, Are you a Mister or Miss? Please honestly answer  this
without evasion.......

Bangladesh's Secular Revolution

Women are powering the country's rejection of radical Islam, but more must be done.

By K. ANIS AHMED

In the pantheon of Islamic states, Bangladesh seems an unlikely place for a secular revolution. It is a dry country with no bars, casinos or horse races. Bangladesh is not liberal in its social mores, compared to Muslim-majority countries like Turkey or Indonesia. And secular principles are far from being consistently upheld: Madrassas receive state funding, while citizens are often hounded for perceived slights to Islam.
Yet since its landslide election in 2008, the ruling Awami League party has rolled back the Islamization trend of recent decades. In July, the government banned the extremist scholar Syed Abul Ala Maududi's books. A historic Supreme Court ruling last month struck down a constitutional amendment that had paved the way for Islamist politics. And a special tribunal to try war crimes of the 1971 Liberation War began its work last month.
These trials are garnering a significant amount of public attention, as the accused are mostly leaders of Islamist political parties. The Awami League is emboldened no doubt by its resounding majority—its alliance controls 264 out of the 300-seat parliament. Its leaders sense a historic opportunity to redress the past. In the late '90s, the Awami League adopted an arguably more moderate course, but this leniency was violently repaid when an alliance of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party and Jamaat-e-Islami won power, when repeated terroristic attacks killed top Awami League leaders. This, combined with the desire to see justice done, has shaped the party's determined mood.

Cynics argue that the trials are politically motivated. The principal target, Jamaat-e-Islami, is a crucial ally of the main opposition BNP. Yet, any perceived benefits to the Awami League are not as straightforward as they may seem. Driving Jamaat underground might make it more dangerous, and any votes lost by Jamaat due to the trials will accrue to BNP, not to the Awami League. Indeed, it might have been safer for the Awami League to ignore the historical injustices. With the advent of the trials, many are now anxious of violent extremist reprisals. Yet repeated opinion polls indicate overwhelming public support for the trials.
Aside from the political jousting, the widespread public support for all the secularizing measures is worth closer scrutiny. Bangladesh's Sufi Islamic roots clearly play a big role. Religious practice in this delta consisted of practices woven gently into the existing cultural fabric, not harshly imposed from outside. While the Islamism that has swept the region in recent decades has left a mark—from greater numbers of madrassas to the prevalence of burqas worn by women—it did not uproot a deeper cultural antipathy to extremism.
Yet this is also a society where the high court dared to declare fatwas illegal and ruled last week that no woman can be forced to wear burqas at work or school; a society where the secular holidays like Bengali New Year and Valentine's Day—both irritating to the fundamentalists—are celebrated by millions of youth. Even in its heyday, Jamaat never garnered more than 10% of the popular vote.
Why? Credit women's empowerment, which provide not only a sign of societal progress, but also remain its most salient cause. The prime minister and the opposition leader are both women. The foreign affairs, home and agricultural ministries are all run by women. Women hold top jobs in government, banks and business, and are especially prominent in legal, medical and social industries. They excel in art, culture and sport. They serve in the armed forces and fly planes for the national airlines. In the lower socio-economic spheres, women work in agriculture, microfinance and the garment industry. Tens of millions of women are economic decision-makers.
Of course the struggle for gender rights and equity still has a long way to go. But the attempt to achieve these worthy goals, led mainly by nongovernmental organizations, has also increased social resiliency against religious fanaticism. In fact, it's not a stretch to argue that the government's actions to stem Islamism could never have been imagined without society's secular backdrop.
The foreign community could reinforce these positive trends by supporting the war crimes tribunal. Important in its own right, the success of the trials is crucial to the secularization process as well. Trade and development partners also need to review their economic policies. The United States, for example, could reduce its punitive tariffs on Bangladeshi garments, providing an immediate boost to the economy.
Just as importantly, it's key to recognize that Bangladesh has come further on its own in the struggle to stay secular than many Muslim countries—even those with greater foreign aid or intervention. Which just goes to show that Bangladeshis can do much to build themselves a better future. Is there a more positive example for the Islamic world?
