AP - An Ecuadorean judge ruled Monday in an epic environmental case that Chevron Corp. was responsible for oil drilling contamination in a wide swath of Ecuador's northern jungle and ordered the oil giant to pay $8.6 billion in damages and cleanup costs.

একুশে ফেব্রুয়ারী । আমাদের আত্ম পরিচয় অনুসন্ধানের দিন। এই দিন সারা বিশ্বের কাছে আজ মাতৃভাষা দিবস হিসাবে স্বীকৃত এবং সম্মানীত। এই বিশেষ দিনে চট্টগ্রাম চলচ্চিত্র কেন্দ্র আয়োজন করেছে ' আমার ভাষার চলচ্চিত্র' শীর্ষক চলচ্চিত্র অধিবেশন। সারাদিনব্যাপী এই অধিবেশনে তিনটি বাংলা চলচ্চিত্র প্রদর্শন করা হবে।
