Re: [chottala.com] Re: Formation of Pakistan and Biharis (So Called)

Thank you H. Haider. Well said.
For the prosperity of our nation, what we need now is unity among our people of any religion or ethnicity that simply says we are both territorially and with a common fate and suffering due to outside interference, aggressin now ethnically we are simply Bangladeshis. Lately, I met a Chakma gentleman in Washington D,C. who lately became the President of a Canadian University. I told him, we Bangladeshis are very proud of you.

There is no doubt that Mr. Jinnah placed an unjust two nation theory stolen from Lahore Proposal by Sherebangla. India was devided on the basis of religion. Hindu politicians thought if undivided India is formed Muslim people will be a problem for absolute power for Hindus. And the then Muslim leaders thought if Pakistan is not formed Muslim leaders will not get chairs of state power. The unpatriotic foolish Muslim politicians made the division of india which is a land for Muslims and other people as well. I think if India was formed with a one unit country Muslims always would in the state power of undivided India.

This is weird that Jinnah placed the two nation theory for the interest of muslims but he himself was not a muslim because he didn't follow a Muslim lifestyle. He never prayed salat nor did other regular Muslim religious work. He never disclosed that he was TB patient.

On Biharis, they never came to Banga Desh. They came to Pakistan. So they opposed to divide pakistan blindly. They never could like Bangalis although Bangalis are Muslims in greater number in the region.

There was a rift, reasons unknown to me, between the Bengali speaking people and the non-Bengali speaking people, who were economically more solvent. (I have not said Urdu). The non-Bengali population living in East Pakistan would seldom socialize with Bengalis, marriage between them was just of the question. The people of East Pakistan revolted when Urdu was proclaimed the national language not because Bengali is a richer language but because of the rift between Bengalis and Non-Bengalis. What actual difference does it make to have any particular language be the national language as long as no one forces one to learn and speak that language?

Somehow the girl was taken back by the girl's family and there a racket between both families. During the aurgument, the girl's family stated something like " We would prefer to give our daughter in marriage to a dog but not a bengali". This statement spread like wild fire in Chittagong, a riot broke out and non-bengalis were hunted down and assulted.

The non-bengali people were classified as Beharis, there were only a few actual Beharis, who came from the State of Bihar, the rest were West Pakistanis, Bombaywallas, Kabuliwallahs, Madrasi, Gujratis and so on. The populations comming from India to settle in East Pakistan deserves much more respect than we ever give them. They left their homes, their lands, their jobs, livihood, other family members etc, to come and live with their fellow Islamic brothers and sisters. It was a big sacrifice for them. It's not easy to settle in a different unknown land with different cultures just because of the same religion, but they did. It is not the Beharis fault that Awami Leauge won a general election and Mr. Z. A. Bhutto would not allow Sk. Mujibur Rahaman, the leader of Awami Leauge to be the President of Pakistan.

> Just after March 25, 1971, in Chittagong, the Beharis (which included the Pathans, Kabuliwallahs, West Pakistanis, Madrasis, etc.) were buchered by the Bengalis. After the Pakistani Army retook Chittagong, the Beharis supported the Pakistani Army. Who would not? Only a few Beharis were members of Rajakar, Al-Badar or Al-Shams. Most of the recruits were bengalis.

[chottala.com] Re: [khabor.com] Husseini and Hitler meeting in 1941 .

Mr. Sitangshu Guha

Are you and your buddies in ukbengali are endorsing the
Israeli propaganda  & Anti-Palestine PR?

The things has to be looked in the proper perspective...
Did you forget the our great Netaji was a great comrade
of Adolf Hitler and Tojo Hideki (Japan) during WWII.

"It was probably in Germany that Subhas Chandra Bose was first known as 'Netaji', which literally means 'leader of leaders' ('Führer' is the equivalent German expression). The period of his stay in Germany was from April 1941 to February 1943. These 'Berlin Years' of Netaji are still a riddle for most of his objective and biased biographers. It is still a puzzle how a self-respecting and dynamic personality could put up for two long years with an inhuman fascist clique which desperately tried to submerge the whole of humanity in rivers of blood. But it is beyond any shadow of doubt that he was solely and unequivocally guided by one desire– the liberation of his mother India from the cruel clutches of British colonialism.........

Netaji met Hitler on May 29, 1942 at the Reich Chancellery.:

Netaji With Hitler [Source: www.netajisubhasfoundation.org  ]

Q&A on Netaji's coalition with Stalin, Hitler and Hirohito
Grand Mufi Amin al-Husseini.may have also tried
"enemy's enemy is a friend" just like our
Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose

The decision to circulate a 1941 photo featuring the Nazi dictator sitting with the then grand mufti of Jerusalem Amin al-Husseini is aimed at easing pressure on Israel over a construction project on land in annexed east Jerusalem once owned by the cleric, [an Israeli] official told AFP.]:

Israeli embassies are being instructed to use for public relations purposes an infamous photograph of Adolf Hitler meeting a top Palestinian cleric.

Far-right Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman has personally requested that the photo be sent to missions around the world, a senior official said.

The 1941 shot shows the Nazi leader meeting the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem.

The US is pressuring Israel to end a Jewish building project at a hotel once owned by the cleric, Amin al-Husseini.

AFP news agency quoted an Israeli official as saying the move by Mr Lieberman was linked to the row over the Shepherd Hotel.

"It is important that the world know the facts," a spokesperson for Mr Lieberman told the BBC, without giving further detail.

Shepherd Hotel, East Jerusalem

Haj Amin al-Husseini was a Palestinian nationalist leader who led violent campaigns against Jewish immigrants and the British authorities in what was then British-ruled Palestine in the 1920s and 1930s.

He fled the territory in 1937, but continued his campaign to oppose British plans to set up a Jewish State in Palestine, allying himself with the Nazis during World War II. He died in Lebanon in 1974.

The meeting with Hitler took place in November 1941 in Berlin, during which Husseini asked Hitler unsuccessfully to back Arab independence and publicly oppose the future creation of Israel.

Last week US officials reportedly summoned Israel's ambassador to Washington and requested a stop to the project to build 20 apartments at the Shepherd Hotel site in Sheikh Jarrah neighbourhood.

It was bought in 1985 by American Jewish millionaire Irving Moskowitz.

The site is in East Jerusalem, which Israel has occupied since 1967.

It has annexed the occupied territory and declared all Jerusalem Israel's eternal capital in a move that has not been recognised by the international community.

Palestinians hope to establish their capital in East Jerusalem, as part of a two-state peace deal with the Israelis.

They say Israel uses settlement and demolition orders to try to force them from the area.

[chottala.com] Creation of Bangalee Bihari conflicts

Dear Lost Dream,

The explanation which you have given is mostly true. What I wanted to clarify uptill now by putting my emphasis in the creation of Pakistan was based on religion only. The incidents of Memon girl with a Bengali boy love affairs which happened round about in 1962 happened in Chittagong when I was 2nd year Medical student of Chittagong Medical College used to be busy in protecting many of my non Bengali friends from sudden outburst of anger of Bengali people as the Memon family told in a most hateful way "Hamara ladki ko kuttako dengey magar Bangalee ko nehi dengey". The non Bengali Urdu speaking group commonly regarded as Biharis in general always used to treat Bengalis in a most heinous way and created in the minds of Bengali people hatreds for them which ultimately flared up later on in 1971. Most Biharis when first entered in Bangladesh liked by our majority of Bengalis in the beginning. Slowly slowly by their hateful activities towrds our Bengali people our Bangalis used to feel hurt and behave with them in a most disgusted way the ultimate result was in 1971. They came to Bangladesh as a Muslim community but never tried to maintain any social relation with Bengalis as they used to possess too much ill feeling for our Bangalee comunity from the core of their heart. In Pakistan before liberation of our Bangladesh it happened to me to stay there for about 4 years as Medical officer and I have seen those Pakistani people always used to be interested to marry their daughter to many of our qualified Bengali boys but in the then East Pakistan these Biharis used to feel too much hatreds to make any relation with Bangalees. This was the reason later on a big rifts was created between the Bengalis and the Biharis.

[chottala.com] Why push the Biharis onto Bangladesh?

Dina Khan,
You seemed to be delusional!

Two nation theory is based on econimical deprivation of Muslims. Quid-e-Azam Jinnah gave a voice to poor & deprived populace to have their own dream come true.

Again, cessation of East Pakistan (aka Bangladesh) was also inspired by economics. Even before Mujib delcation of Independence, a rebelious Bengalees were stomping their feet against Jinnah, in 1949, a Language Movement was gaining momentum. Installing Urdu as a state language in majority-spoken Bengal definte work against the millions of Bangla-speaking population, terming them as ignorant.

Then famous writer Abul Monsur Ahmed penned clearly, "making Urdu as a state language will make millions of civil servents of Bengla as ignorant" and that will cost many jobs in East Pakistan Muslims. Urdu was retooled to deprive Bengali-speaking natives. Ashraf Ali, Ghulam Azam (VP of DUCSU in 47-48) of Tomuddun Majlis, and many other concensus people fought against Pakis. Religion has no play here, it's purely economical deprivation.

Mr Dowllah
On religion basis division of Bengal & India was totally against the democracy.
The reality is that the theory of 2 nations was a conspiracy against the democracy & against the humanity & human right. This conspiracy was done not only by Urdu Speaker Mr. Jinna but also it is done in cooperation of Hindi Speaker Mr. Neheru.
It seems that Mr. Neheru might think if India not be divided then India might got before position of 1757 or fighting would start for state language of India between languages Urdu & Hindi or state Language of India would be majority people of Bangla
Among then Muslims Politicians in the undivided Bengal except Mr. AKF Haque understood this conspiracy later Mr. Shahid Sarwardi could but other Muslims Bengal politicians including the father of now Independence Bangladesh could not be able to understand this conspiracy.
However
Now we need to confirm that East Pakistan is created on 2 nation theories which is the foundation of Bangladesh & all citizens of East Pakistan are the citizens of Bangladesh only the war criminals are needed to face trial for establishing social justice & lawful Administration in Bangladesh

Attention dina khan,

We came to know from the history there were so many scientific thesis written in Urdu. There is no question of revengeful attitude in my writing. In spite of their activities in 1971 still few lacs of Biharis staying there for the last 39 years in the middle of full of Bengali people without any untoward incidents or revengeful activities. Bengali people initially did not have any conflict with the Biharis. The conflict of Bangalee Bihari started in 1971 when Biharis instead of taking side with the Bengalis with whom they used to stay for 25 years they accepted Pakistanis as their friends and  initiated all sorts of atrocities against Bengalis by taking active parts along with their Pakistani associates.

I don't know why I am unable to clear that the creation of Pakistan was on the basis of religion only, not on language.

Before 1947 many iron men from our Bengal joined hand in hand with M.A. Jinnah and took active part in the creation of Pakistan on the agreement to create a separate home land for the Muslims in India. According to that they tried and were successful in creating Pakistan as a separate land for the Muslims.

There was no agreement and no mention anywhere, the creation of Pakistan for Urdu only when there was movement for the creation of Pakistan going on. Why possessing this wrong idea, India was divided into two - Pakistan for Urdu language and India for Hindi language.

It was only due to M.A. Jinnah who later on without giving any value to our Bengali language took the opportunity of our sincerity to enforce most unwanted Urdu language on our shoulder and by telling Urdu and Urdu only will be the state language of Pakistan, igniting the volcano producing an eruption creating a big explosion of our language movement which results ultimately the creation of Bangladesh in 1971. How they thought our Bengali people would accept their foolish dictatorial proposal.

From our Bangladesh side there was no objection if West Pakistani people accept Urdu as their state language but in our the then East Pakistan how they thought and were dared enough to force Urdu language over  us and subsequently objecting our own Bengali language in our own Bengal? Was it possible where the majority of us as son of the soil used to speak in Bengali by being born and brought up with our own ancestral Bengali language? How it was possible we would start again everything by accepting Urdu from the beginning as our new language? Sorry to say it was not possble.

Bengali people never objected for the Biharis who entered in our small Bangladesh to speak in their own Urdu language nor bothered for it. The problem started when M.A. Jinnah tried to enforce the Urdu over our  Bengal to accept it as state language. Really very strange to think even.

We can sacrifice our small land of Bangladesh to share with those large influx of Biharis as they were our same Muslim community but in concern of language no compromise, as that was the language of our heart.

That was the only reason by attacking our Bengali language these Biharis lost their all stronghold of their foot step in Bangladesh and have nowhere, got no place moving from one place to another as vagabond refugees.

Biharis who supported and favoured Pakistan against us during our liberation war in 1971 after repeated claim by them for the last 39 years as they are Pakistani, Pakistan refused to accept them. On the other hand it is not possible for our Bangladesh to be converted again into Pakistan as it is already finished now.

The question is now why to push those "Urdu Wala Biharis" onto Bangladesh as their most intimate "Mouch Wala Khan of Pakistan" refused to accept them?  After staying for 25 years, Pakistan could not be a good friend of Bengalis how the Biharis thought those Pakistanis will be a good friend of them. What more we can do for them now? There is no other alternative except feeling pity for those poor Biharis.

Mr. Dowllah
You are talking for revenging
I am asking for lawful administration based on justice of law for humanity & human right.
It is very clear though Pakistan was created based on the theory of 2 nations the cause is religion
But historical causes of division were behind that reasons are still for continuing the problems in the subcontinent
Though Mr. Jinnah was blamed he was the responsible person for division of India logically it could not be said only Mr. Jinnah was responsible.
He was the initial member of Congress later he joined to ML.
On analyzing it is clear that the historical backgrounds divisions of India are the main causes. Once on train travel Calcuta to Delhi I heard people in train gossiped that Urdu is language of Muslim & Hindi for Hindu.
So it is looked India has no language problem all other local languages people have taken Hindi their national language & Harmony of Geo Political cultural is there..
Though for Bengali language Bangladesh is liberated still in Bangladesh Bengali language is used only in domestic in drama in cinema & in political talking for illiterate people.
It can not be used for earning medical knowledge or engineering knowledge or technical knowledge or official & administrative knowledge even it is not used for prestigious talking & in religion prayer.

It is the Language limited in Rabindra & Nazrul Sangith now in Natak of Homayan Ahmed & fun of Naslima Nasrin.
No authority still is thinking or taking perfect action for making it a media of knowledge earning language. People think wasting of time for using this language.
However
Bangladesh Administration is needed to think how can be established lawful Administration & social justice for humanity & human right
