[chottala.com] Pakistan now a volcano awaiting for eruption

Dear chottala readers,

What is going on in Pakistan now as if it can be erupted at any time as volcanic eruption. Only a matter of time. Pakistanis used to think us before as we were in one Pakistan as East Pakistani, was a trouble some area and always used to tell us as an anti Pakistani traitor. Now we are by the Grace of Almighty Allah as an independent country living far far away from those rowdy Pakistanis, then why these disturbances and troubles prevailing in their peaceful land of all  mochwala khan(with moustache). They were very much proud of their bravery and used to think our short stature Bengali people as a weak one. But at the time of necessity our these short stature Bengalees became Royal Bengal tiger in front of them and cut their raised moustache into short bringing it down for all the times. From the very beginning these mochwala khan used to rule Pakistan by force and ultimately they by their foolish activity of dwarf mentality break Pakistan into two, (1) our Bangladesh and (2) their own Pakistan. Previously they used to think themselves as better Muslims and good Islamic country which in practical viewpoint they were not. Those Islamic minded Pakistani Muslims we have seen very well in 1971 liberation war. Now again their Pakistan is going to break into multiple pieces leaving behind a good Islamic Taliban state in that country. What Pakistan did with our innocent Bangladeshi people one day will come, they will have to pay for it. In future these Taliban will make them alright and more better Muslims.

Dowllah.

[chottala.com] Re: US praises religious 'freedoms' in Bangladesh - BBC

Dear All

Like any powerful nation in the history of mankind, America has is good,
bad and ugly ....The issue under discussion is not our soverignity
but our image in the world community. The crux of the matter under discussion
is Freedom of Religion & Freedom to Worship ...

"The Principle of Freedom of religion is based on the freedom of an individual
or a community  to express religion, faith or belief in practice, worship, and
observance, in public or in private. The concept also include the freedom to
change religion or not to follow any religion. Freedom of religion is a
fundamental human right,"

US congressional panel's removal of Bangladesh from the list of countries
violating religious freedoms.definitely shows our country's higher standing
as a nation respecting basic human rights and tolerance towords the religious
minorities.

As a nation we must abhor all sorts of religious hate-mongering & extreemism,
open or hidden under various pretexts and forms ....

US praises Bangladesh 'freedoms'

Eunuchs in Bangladesh
The report said that minority rights in Bangladesh are better respected

The Bangladeshi government has welcomed moves by a US congressional panel to remove it from a list of countries deemed to violate religious freedoms.

The decision is a vindication of the new government's determination to protect minorities, a spokesman in the prime minister's office said.

The panel ruled that Bangladesh's elections in December were "relatively free of violence".

However, Pakistan is described by the panel as "of particular concern".

The US Commission on International Religious Freedom report said that Afghanistan also needed to be "closely watched" and Sri Lanka was a cause for concern.

'Killings'

It said that the winning party in the Bangladesh elections, the Awami League, was "more favourably disposed towards minority rights protection".

"The 2008 elections allowed for minorities to exercise their voting rights and proceeded without the anti-minority violence that followed the last national elections of 2001," the report said.

"At that time the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP)-led government failed to investigate or prosecute acts of severe violence, including killings, rapes, land seizures, arson and extortion against religious minorities - especially Hindus."

On Pakistan, the report said that there had been "a largely unchecked growth in the power and reach of religiously- motivated extremist groups whose members are engaged in violence in Pakistan and abroad".

It said that sectarian violence had continued in Pakistan - particularly against Shia Muslims, Ahmadis, Christians and Hindus.

"The government's response continues to be insufficient and in some cases, is outright complicit."

On Afghanistan the report said that "the failure of the new constitution to protect individuals from within the majority Muslim community to dissent from the prevailing Islamic orthodoxy continues to result in serious abuses".

On Sri Lanka the report said that religious minorities had been attacked in their places of worship. It said that a proposed legislation on religious conversions would violate international law.
