[chottala.com] Re: [khabor.com] Fwd: Bravo! Bravo! Bravo! Our army backed caretaker government - if Tarek – Koko – Khaleda - Nizami gong are released from the custody – than no need keeping anyone in the custody of Bangladesh.

Yes, we live in magical land. To make way for democracy, we have to cut many corners. The question is, do we want democracy so badly that we have to let go of potential advancement of our country in the areas of corruption busting exercises? If we have to resign to the old ways then what was the use of the care-taker govt. of 2007 and 2008? How did Bangladesh benefit? Or did it benefit at all??? What is stopping the previous forces to come back in grand style? This time perhaps with more majestic style having life long impunity. The fate of Bangladesh hangs precariously on a balance and somehow the entire country has accepted the fate that 'we cannot unshackle the old ways or perhaps old-ways was economically prosperous,' so let us not look at it from an ethical point of view. Let us focus on our wallets becoming fatter and letting moral scruples to kick back in at a later stage (a compromise).

Lastly, we have again proved to ourselves that we are an emotional nation governed by the dictates of party politics; we steadfastly put political ideology over country's well-being. Otherwise, all the drama of catching big wigs and then slowly letting them go sends only one signal and that is 'we have failed and that old guns may blaze in the coming days,' while the public continue to suck at their thumps and be shoved with high prices, economic dislocation and a judiciary that calls itself free and fair but acts as the servant of vested quarters. This is not the 'notun bangladesh I and many others dreamt of.' I hope and pray the 'cycle of wrongs' come to an end, at least in my life-time so that we can present a better tomorrow to our progeny.

Thank you for the patient reading.

Bravo!   Bravo!   Bravo!
Our  army  backed  caretaker  government

If Tarek – Koko – Khaleda - Nizami gong are released from the custody – than no need keeping anyone in the jail or custody of Bangladesh.

Is there was any crime which were not committed (directly and indirectly) by these gongs during their tenure of 2001 – 2006?

  • They looted - stolen cores of taka of people of Bangladesh
  • They took thousands of acres of govt owned land
  • They transferred cores of taka to overseas (even when this CA Mr. Fakruddin was Governor of Bangladesh Bank)
  • They killed, injured political leaders - MPs (from topmost level, like Ex Minister & current MP ASMS Kibria, ex MP Mrs. Ivy Rahman, current MP Ahsanullah Master, ex MP Momtazuddin, Manjurul Imam etc to the grass root level workers - supporters of opposition political parties, even person (in Bogura) reading Quran in the mosque)
  • They gave safe shelter to killers in exchange of cores of taka (Basundhora)
  • They killed, insulted their own party leaders - supporters - sympathisers (like Prof Aftab of DU, Jamal Uddin of Chittagong, Badruddoza Choudhury, Mahi Choudhury, Maj Mannan)
  • They tried to cleansing the religious minority group (killed hundreds of non Muslim, including Principal Binod Bihari, Buddhist spiritual leader)
  • They created thousands of "god fathers"
  • They gave 'mega size' (more than 62) corrupt minister
  • They polluted & destroyed the PSC
  • They polluted & destroyed judicial system
  • They polluted & destroyed the educational system
  • They polluted & destroyed the Administration - Bureaucracy
  • They polluted & destroyed the Election Commission (cores of false voter)
  • They polluted & destroyed the Army - Police and other law enforcing system

They  had  polluted  &  destroyed  every  thing of  Bangladesh

To find their huge number of crimes – no need of the high power electronic microscope or "intensive investigation"!

Only need a fair, unbiased normal mind. So, no need of carry out any "intensive investigation" with "high power electronic microscope"!

If you go through the "un protested" newspapers reports (also in abroad) on the corruptions published during the tenure of the notorious Jamat-BNP tenure of 2001 – 2006 (and also after that, till now) including the newspapers sympathised or loyal to them including like, the Prothom Alo, the Amader Shomoy, the Jugantor, the Daily Star, the Inkilab, the Amar Desh, the Manabzamin, the Nayadiganta,. Leave the neutral & sincere newspaper like the Sangbad, the Janakantha, the Shamokal, the Ittefaq and other news paper like the Bhorer Kagoj, Ajkerkagoj (now closed) etc etc. (I can quote hundreds of such news paper report).

That is why Bangladesh was "champion" in corruption out of 5 terms 4 terms of Jamat-BNP era (and one time in Awami League era)!

Now these culprits are getting released from the custody by this ABCG!

Bravo!  Bravo!  Bravo!  Our army backed caretaker government

Really SELUKAS!

Our present neutral army backed caretaker government is really strange! SELUKAS!

[chottala.com] Behind the cancelled political intelligence office

Straight Line

The chain of events regarding the now-defunct never-really-born political intelligence office of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police has undoubtedly created curiosity and misgivings in the minds of concerned citizens. The matter, however, would not have attracted much attention if the alleged political intelligence unit reportedly created under DMP Rules 2007 went about its mandated functions in a low key business-as-usual manner. Some other functional units including the much dreaded RAB continue to function without any significant demand from any quarter to put a stop to their work except the "crossfire' killings.

Going by experience it appears likely that the Commissioner of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police wanted to have the support of an exclusive intelligence cell that would report directly to him. Under the present arrangement his intelligence assistance and briefing comes from the Dhaka City Special Branch unit of the Special Branch which is under the administrative and operational command of Additional IG, Special Branch. In the past, some chiefs of DMP wanted to take over effective control of the city unit of Special Branch but their efforts did not materialize. Such in-fightings are not uncommon in bureaucratic parlance.

What, however, should bother right-thinking people in Bangladesh is the quantum of the so-called political intelligence and the mode and manner of gathering it. Coming to specifics, how much of surveillance of constitutionally- oriented political parties should be necessary in public interest? How do we prevent the dilution of State and government interests that has so often derailed our intelligence outfits from their real job?

It may be relevant to point out that our constitution narrates eloquently our national interests. It says that the aim of the state is to realize the democratic process in which the rule of law, fundamental human rights and freedom, equality and justice, political, economic and social, will be secured for all citizens. It further affirms that it is our sacred duty to safeguard, protect and defend this constitution and to maintain its supremacy as the embodiment of the will of the people of Bangladesh. It categorically states that the constitution is, as the solemn expression of the will of the people, the supreme law of the Republic.

The above constitutional stipulations have been highlighted because apparently the mission and strategy of our crime fighting and intelligence organizations had not been stable at least in so far as the domestic threat scenario is concerned. It is felt that those have invariably substantially altered with the change of a political government. One may not be far from the reality to say that it has been our unfortunate experience to witness the differing political agendas often clouding the pragmatic understanding and appreciation of our real national interests.

If we delve into the past we will be confronted with shamefully unpleasant facts. In the not-too-distant past we had the unpalatable experience of witnessing a very sensitive intelligence organization working principally for the whims and caprices of a virtual dictator and using public funds for creating and destabilizing political parties, political horse-trading and shadowing people on personal and flimsy grounds. No wonder in such a scenario the professional efficiency was sacrificed and public servants turned into personal servants with the attendant ignominy.

One has to remember that ensuring internal security is closely associated with the task of collecting and collating intelligence in the interests of the state. In reality, in our situation, the interests of the state often get diluted and mixed up with the interests of the government of the day. The situation is marked by an unfortunate lack of understanding and appreciation of the requirements of the state and the government in a democratic and pluralist society like ours.

The unpleasant truth is that intelligence agencies maintain file and shadow the leaders and workers of pronouncedly constitutional politics-oriented parties belonging to the opposition who are recognized partners in the business of politics. At some point of time when such opposition party comes to power, there is an uneasy relationship between the political bosses and the agencies. In such a scenario, professionalism becomes the worst casualty, sense of direction is lost, and the organization dips into a lackadaisical environment and interests of the state take a back seat surrendering greater space to partisan considerations. It is needless to say that the values of a democratic polity are universal and as such demand unconditional adherence to it.

Bangladesh polity is now challenged by hostile groups that profess a philosophy of life and of government inimical to our own. In fact, we are now facing an adversary who are armed enough to commit widespread violence. In our free society while our defences and deterrents are largely prepared in open fashion, our new antagonists have succeeded in building a formidable wall of secrecy and security. So, to bridge the gap and warn ourselves in time, we have to rely more and more upon our intelligence operations. There is a need to break through the shield of secrecy of the bigots. The special techniques which are unique to secret intelligence operations are needed to penetrate the security barriers of the extremist outfits.

Our preparation to combat the extremists cannot wait for evidences of the likelihood of further hostile acts against us. We should, therefore, be forewarned and forearmed. The act of forewarning could itself constitute one of the most effective deterrents to the bigot's appetite for attack. Intelligence should not be a tabooed subject. What we are striving to achieve should be an advertised fact.

The most serious occupational hazard in the intelligence field is prejudice. While we are all creatures of prejudice, we must be able to avoid bending of facts obtained through intelligence to suit or defeat a particular political viewpoint.

We have to admit that we are not really at peace with the so-called religious extremists because they have declared war on our system of government and life. The reality is that we are faced with a closed, conspiratorial and scheming enemy. We cannot hope to maintain our position securely if our opponent is confident that they can attack us at the time and place of their choosing and without any forewarning.

In the last analysis the most important safeguards lie in the character and self-discipline of the leadership of the intelligence service and of the people who work for it--on the kind of men and women on the job, their integrity and their respect for the democratic processes and their sense of duty and devotion in carrying out their important and delicate tasks.

Our intelligence organization needs to work under pragmatic political leadership and if properly and professionally steered, it does not threaten our liberties. If we operate by the book, we will be adequately informed of the perils which face us. If we do not know the designs of the so-called religious-extremists, then we could well be isolated and our liberties, too could be in jeopardy. Therefore, we must be ready to deal with all aspects of the not-very-visible war of the bigots with all its ramifications and fronts, supported by external resources. The last thing we can afford to do now is to put our intelligence in chains. Its protective and informative role is indispensable in time of unique and continuing violence in the name of religion.

[chottala.com] Russia remains a Black Sea power

Russia remains a Black Sea power
By M K Bhadrakumar

If the struggle in the Caucasus was ever over oil and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization's (NATO's) agenda towards Central Asia, the United States suffered a colossal setback this week. Kazakhstan, the Caspian energy powerhouse and a key Central Asian player, has decided to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with Russia over the conflict with Georgia, and Russia's de facto control over two major Black Sea ports has been consolidated.

At a meeting in the Tajik capital Dushanbe on Thursday on the sidelines of the summit meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), Kazakh President Nurusultan Nazarbayev told Russian President Dmitry Medvedev that Moscow could count on Astana's support in the present crisis.

In his press conference in Dushanbe, Medvedev underlined that his SCO counterparts, including China, showed understanding of the Russian position. Moscow appears satisfied that the SCO summit also issued a statement on the Caucasus developments, which, inter alia, said, "The leaders of the SCO member states welcome the signing in Moscow of the six principles for regulating the South Ossetia conflict, and support Russia's active role in assisting peace and cooperation in the region." The SCO comprises China, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.

There were tell-tale signs that something was afoot when the Kazakh Foreign Ministry issued a statement on August 19 hinting at broad understanding for the Russian position. The statement called for an "unbiased and balanced assessment" of events and pointed out that an "attempt [was made] to resolve a complicated ethno-territorial issue by the use of force", which led to "grave consequences". The statement said Astana supported the "way the Russian leadership proposed to resolve the issue" within the framework of the United Nations charter, the Helsinki Final Act of 1975 and international law.

The lengthy statement leaned toward the Russian position but offered a labored explanation for doing so.

Kazakhstan has since stepped out into the thick of the diplomatic sweepstakes and whole-heartedly endorsed the Russian position.
This has become a turning point for Russian diplomacy in the post-Soviet space. Nazarbayev said:
I am amazed that the West simply ignored the fact that Georgian armed forces attacked the peaceful city of Tskhinvali [in South Ossetia]. Therefore, my assessment is as follows: I think that it originally started with this. And Russia's response could either have been to keep silent or to protect their people and so on. I believe that all subsequent steps taken by Russia have been designed to stop bloodshed of ordinary residents of this long-suffering city. Of course, there are many refugees, many homeless.

Guided by out bilateral agreement on friendship and cooperation between Kazakhstan and Russia, we have provided humanitarian aid: 100 tons have already been sent. We will continue to provide assistance together with you.

Of course, there was loss of life on the Georgian side - war is war. The resolution of the conflict with Georgia has now been shifted to some indeterminate time in the future. We have always had good relations with Georgia. Kazakhstan's companies have made substantial investments there. Of course, those that have done this want stability there. The conditions of the plan that you and [President of France Nicolas] Sarkozy drew up must be implemented, but some have begun to disavow certain points in the plan.

However, I think that negotiations will continue and that there will be peace - there is no other alternative. Therefore, Kazakhstan understands all the measures that have been taken, and Kazakhstan supports them. For our part, we will be ready to do everything to ensure that everyone returns to the negotiating table.
From Moscow's point of view, Nazarbayev's words are worth their weight in gold. Kazakhstan is the richest energy producer in Central Asia and is a regional heavyweight. It borders China. The entire US regional strategy in Central Asia ultimately aims at replacing Russia and China as Kazakhstan's number one partner. American oil majors began making a beeline to Kazakhstan immediately after the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991 - including Chevron, with which US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice was associated.

Unsurprisingly, Kazakhstan figured as a favorite destination for US Vice President Dick Cheney and President George W Bush has lavishly hosted Nazarbayev in the White House.

The US had gone the extra league in cultivating Nazarbayev, with the fervent hope that somehow Kazakhstan could be persuaded to commit its oil to the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline, whose viability is otherwise in doubt. The pipeline is a crucial component of the US's Caspian great game.

The US had gone to great lengths to realize the pipeline project against seemingly hopeless odds. In fact, Washington stage-managed the "color" revolution in Georgia in November 2003 (which catapulted Mikheil Saakashvili to power in Tbilisi) on the eve of the commissioning of the pipeline. The general idea behind the commotion in the South Caucasus was that the US should take control of Georgia through which the pipeline passes.

Besides, Kazakhstan shares a 7,500 kilometer border with Russia, which is the longest land border between any two countries in the world. It would be a nightmare for Russian security if NATO were to gain a foothold in Kazakhstan. Again, the US strategy had targeted Kazakhstan as the prize catch for NATO in Central Asia. The US aimed to make a pitch for Kazakhstan after getting Georgia inducted into NATO.

These American dreams have suffered a setback with the Kazakh leadership now closing ranks with Moscow. It seems Moscow outwitted Washington.

Belarus voices support
The other neighboring country sharing a common border with Russia, Belarus, has also expressed support for Moscow. Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko visited Medvedev in Sochi on August 19 to express his solidarity.

"Russia acted calmly, wisely and beautifully. This was a calm response. Peace has been established in the region - and it will last," he commented.

What is even more potent is that Russia and Belarus have decided to sign an agreement this autumn on creating a unified air defense system. This is hugely advantageous for Russia in the context of the recent US attempts to deploy missile defense elements in Poland and the Czech Republic.

According to Russian media reports, Belarus has several S-300 air defense batteries - Russia's advanced system - on combat duty and is currently negotiating the latest S-400 systems from Russia, which will be made available by 2010.

Attention now shifts to the meeting of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), which is scheduled to take place in Moscow on September 5. The CSTO's stance on the crisis in the Caucasus will be closely watched.

It appears that Moscow and Kazakhstan are closely cooperating in setting the agenda of CSTO, whose members are Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. The big question is how the CSTO gears up to meet NATO's expansion plans. The emergent geopolitical reality is that with Russia's recognition of South Ossetia and Abkhazia, Moscow has virtually checkmated the US strategy in the Black Sea region, defeating its plan to make the Black Sea an exclusive "NATO lake". In turn, NATO's expansion plans in the Caucasus have suffered a setback.

Not many analysts have understood the full military import of the Russian moves in recognizing the breakaway Georgian republics.
Russia has now gained de facto control over two major Black Sea ports - Sukhumi and Poti. Even if the US-supported regime of Viktor Yushchenko in Ukraine creates obstacles for the Russian fleet based in the Crimean port of Sevastopol - in all probability, Moscow will shrug off any Ukrainian pressure tactic - the fleet now has access to alternative ports on the Black Sea. Poti, in particular, has excellent facilities dating to the Soviet era.

The swiftness with which Russia took control of Poti must have made the US livid with anger. Washington's fury stems from the realization that its game plan to eventually eliminate Russia's historical role as a "Black Sea power" has been rendered a pipe dream. Of course, without a Black Sea fleet, Russia would have

ceased to be a naval power in the Mediterranean. In turn, Russia's profile in the Middle East would have suffered. The Americans indeed had an ambitious game plan towards Russia.

There is every indication that Moscow intends to assert the strategic presence of its Black Sea Fleet. Talks have begun with Syria for the expansion of a Russian naval maintenance base at the Syrian port of Tartus. The Middle East media recently suggested in the context of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad to Moscow that Russia might contemplate shifting its Black Sea Fleet from Sevastopol to Syria. But this is an incorrect reading insofar as all that Russia needs is a supply and maintenance center for its warships, which operate missions in the Mediterranean. In fact, the Soviet navy's 5th Mediterranean Squadron had made use of Tartus port for such purpose.

China shows understanding
Moscow will approach the CSTO summit pleased with the SCO's backing, even it it was not without reservations. Medvedev said of the SCO meeting,
Of course, I had to tell our partners what had actually happened, since the picture painted by some of the Western media unfortunately differed from real facts as to who was the aggressor, who started all this, and who should bear the political, moral and ultimately the legal responsibility for what happened ...

Our colleagues gratefully received this information and during a series of conversations we concluded that such events certainly do not strengthen the world order, and that the party that unleashed the aggression should be responsible for its consequences ... I am very pleased to have been able to discuss this with our colleagues and to have received from them this kind of support for our efforts. We are confident that the position of the SCO member states will produce an appropriate resonance through the international security, and I hope this will give a serious signal to those who are trying to justify the aggression that was committed.
It must have come as a relief to Moscow that China agreed to line up behind such a positive formulation. On Thursday, the Russian Foreign Ministry in Moscow also seems to have had its first contact with the Chinese Embassy regarding the issue. Significantly, the Foreign Ministry statement said the meeting between Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexei Borodavkin and Chinese ambassador Liu Guchang took place at the Chinese initiative.

The statement claimed, "The Chinese side was informed of the political and legal motives behind Russia's decision and expressed an understanding of them." (Emphasis added.) It is highly unlikely that on such a sensitive issue, Moscow would have unilaterally staked a tall claim without some degree of prior tacit consent from the Chinese side, which is a usual diplomatic practice.

The official Russian news agency report went a step further and highlighted that "China had expressed its understanding of Russia's decision to recognize Georgia's breakaway regions of South Ossetia and Abkhazia".

The favorable stance by Belarus, Kazakhstan and China significantly boosts Moscow's position. In real terms, the assurance that the three big countries that surround Russia will remain on friendly terms no matter the West's threat to unleash a new cold war, makes a huge difference to Moscow's capacity to maneuver. Any time now - possibly this weekend - we may expect Belarus to announce its recognition of South Ossetia and Abkhazia.

Clearly, Moscow is disinterested to mount any diplomatic campaign to rally support from the world community for the sovereignty and independence of the two breakaway provinces. As a Moscow commentator put it, "Unlike in comrade Leonid Brezhnev's time, Moscow is not trying to press any countries into supporting it on this issue. If it did, it could find quite a few sympathizers, but who cares?"

It serves Moscow's purpose as long as the world community draws an analogy between Kosovo and the two breakaway provinces. In any case, the two provinces have been totally dependent on Russia for economic sustenance.

With the independence of South Ossetia and Abkhazia, what matters critically for Moscow is that if the West now intends to erect any new Berlin Wall, such a wall will have to run zig-zag along the western coast of the Black Sea, while the Russian naval fleet will always stay put on the east coast and forever sail in and out of the Black Sea.

The Montreal Convention assures the free passage of Russian warships through the Straits of Bosphorous. Under the circumstances, NATO's grandiose schemes to occupy the Black Sea as its private lake seem outlandish now. There must be a lot of egg on the faces of the NATO brains in Brussels and their patrons in Washington and London.

SELUKAS!

[FutureOfBangladesh] Fwd: [notun_bangladesh] SADHU SABDHAN !!!

It was posted by me about more than a year,
Please see how it is happening!

Dear Mr. Amin Ahmad Chaudhury & Engr. Asad,

Thanks for the logical input (by Asad) and for appropriate reply (by Mr. Chaudhury)

Please accept our heartiest appreciation for your courageous guts at this very difficult period of Bangladesh.

You have pointed your 'pen' to the right point-place & you are absolutely right.

Current & recent activities & BORO  BORO  KOTHA of present IG (interim government) & its puppets are nothing but 'eye wash' & make efforts to 'divert' the attention of 'common' people from the 'real' & 'acute' problems of Bangladesh & their failure and 'finally' to accumulate, hoard & protect (indirectly & technically) Khaleda-BNP-Jamat.

Because both, the quantity & quality of crimes, committed by the Khaleda-BNP-Jamat Gong are obvious to all like day light

99% of Khaleda-BNP-Jamat gong are both politically & financially corrupt.

Have you noticed that, not a single case of "corruption" or "abuse of power" has not been yet lodged against:

  • BNP Chairperson Ex Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Falu &
  • Jamat Amir Ex Minister Moitta Razakar

Though Jamat-BNP alliances (headed by Khaleda-Moitta) have done the UTMOST harm, devastation, downgrading to our country, Bangladesh, in all respect, in last 5 years

These are not confessed now, by either jailed Leaders (like Falu-Babar & other BNP leaders) or the NOBBO SONGSKAR DAEE (like Mannan-Khoka-Saifur). Corruption of Jamat - BNP era are confessed by:

  • Chief of Parliament Sub-Committee Chairman (during live BNP-Jamat era)
  • By Khaleda's Ex PS (BCS cadre Secretary) to media (not from the pressure of CTG)
  • Different media report (home & abroad, during live BNP-Jamat era)

But present (overt & covert Jamat-BNP supporters led) interim Government doesn't not find any 'element' to arrest them.

But they (overt & covert Jamat-BNP supporters led interim Government) easily find the necessary 'component' (even by including Sheikh Hasina's name 'in recent times' in previously lodged old case of Jamat) to lodged many cases against Awami League Chief Sheikh Hasina, who were in 'run' in last 5 years by Jamat-BNP Govt& private agencies.. Because they know that everybody are manageable, except, Bangabandhu daughter Sheikh Hasina!

So, you correctly uttered SADHU  SABDHAN !!!

Common people are with you, don't worry!

Wow ! What a rage ! When people face truth they turn intolerant and abusive. Because they cannot tolerate truth. Every word of Mr. Asad is true and he has depicted the real picture most wonderfully. You did not praise the contents of his letter. You  rested all your reason on a single word 'vai'. You are right in that. But why did you feel ashamed to comment on Mr.Asad's dealing with the subject. You hate to see people pronounbcing wrongly but you yourself spelled the word "wrongly" as "wronly." [chottala.com] Re: RAW's Raw Rage

RAW's Raw Rage
Abid Bahar
"The Intellectual Blueprint of the Neo-Razakars" by Sohail Tajul Islam, published on August 25, 2008 by all acounts seems is a RAW's raw rage against the conremporary rise of independent-minded powerful Bangladeshis who are becoming conscious of who they are and who their countrymen Bangladeshis should be. It worries the RAW that the former's appeal is becoming popular and  powerful everyday. It worries the devil that its attempt to deal with the lives of 150 million; to make them dependent on India will be futile.

MBI Munshi, Zaglul Hossain, Isha Khan, Zoglul Husain, Zainal Abedin, Moin Ansari, Farhad Mazhar, Mahmudur Rahman, Prof. Mahbubullah, Prof. Ataur Rahman, Prof. Razia Banu, Shah Abdul Hannan and the others are doing great jobs to the nation to educate its citizens. They deserve congratulations.

India Doctrine is not a myth,  it was born with a brain to make people suffer for the sake of a chauvinistic nationalim called Brahmoism. When one reads the history of  Bromo imperialism in South Asia, MBI Munshi's book makes sense.

If Sohail Tajul Islam is a college student in the science programe, he must have enough time and money to do intelligence work than his studies. If that is the case, as a spoiled student he must be failing in his studies. As an adult however, skipping classes wouldn't matter because he is doing something else than his studies. By making a college student doing full time job, the author of the article student or not simply have a fail grade.

The article is a clear demonstration of a raw attempt by the RAW to mislead Bangladeshis with the AL slogan of Razakar. This is not hard to understand to the fish eating Bangladeshis. If there is one real Sohail, he must be an adult RAW operative with several names, one of which is a convenient name called Sohail Tajul Islam. RAW operatives shold take note that this doesn't work with Bangladeshis who fought three wars; the first one was against the British, the second against Pakistan and now fighting a cold war with India. To deal with our present and future, Bangladeshis shold be careful with the Neo- Indi razakars.

Subject: RAW's campaign against writers, newspapers, politicians

Sohail Tajul Islam, probably a RAW operative, wrote an article (probably prompted and supplied by RAW) on 25 August 08 in the internet newspaper: The News From Bangladesh (NFB), accusing many writers, newspapers and BNP-Jamat politicians as anti-India and called them neo-rajakars. The writers and newspapers referred to are:

Barrister MBI Munshi. Isha Khan, Zoglul Husain, Zainal Abedin, Moin Ansari, Farhad Mazhar, Mahmudur Rahman, Prof. Mahbubullah, Prof. Ataur Rahman, Prof. Razia Banu, Shah Abdul Hannan, (according to the writer) "and the anti-Indian stance of the BNP-Jamaat neo-Razakars", and several newspapers, magazines and journals such as the Naya Diganta, Sangram, Dinkal, New Age, Bangladesh Defence Journal, The Financial Express, PROBE, The Bangladesh Today and The New Nation (according to the writer) "have also been sponsoring or highlighting this new anti-Indian agenda initiated by The India Doctrine".

In response, I wrote an article on 27 August 08 in NFB, which is given below with relevant links. Please click the following to read:

[FutureOfBangladesh] Fwd: Khaleda’s asset - many question: She as well as Zia also were not honest – her assets prove that - Khaleda is a traditional liar - which are transmitted to their sons Tarek-Koko

Subject: Khaleda's asset - many question: She as well as Zia also were not honest – her assets prove that - Khaleda is a traditional liar - which are transmitted to their sons Tarek-Koko

Dear politically conscious & enthusiastic journalist, editors, columnist, political scientist, writers readers,

Please read these following news, about Khaleda Zia's assets & some logical comment on it.

These are inquisitive analysis fort for enthusiastic peoples. You may find interesting to read it.

Khaleda's asset - many question: She as well as Zia also were not honest – her assets prove that - Khaleda is a traditional liar - which are transmitted to their sons Tarek-Koko - 8.8.07

http://bhorerkagoj.net/online/news.php?id=6502&sys=3

http://bhorerkagoj.net/online/news.php?id=6431&sys=3

Khaleda's assets is only 3.5 crore – value of 4 lots & houses (Cantonment, Banani, Uttor Khan and Savar) are only about 12,507 BDT and Tk 50, 000 as FDR by Zia

http://www.thedailysangbad.com/index.php?news_id=38765&nature=1&cat_id=1&date=2007-08-07

http://www.newagebd.com/front.html#4

http://www.thedailystar.net/2007/08/07/d7080701044.htm

These news prove that Khaleda is a traditional liar and Zia had also supported her.

Gen Zia also suppressed those assets (two lots of land in Dhaka and 50,000 BDT as FDR).

Our questions are:

How Gen Zia has got these assets & money?

What Gen Safiullah had at that time?

What Gen Khaled Mosharrf had at that time?

What Coln Taher had at that time?

They were almost in same rank in Pak Army.

I hope that enthusiastic journalist, editors, columnist, political scientist, writers will write more on the above subject.
