[chottala.com] Homeopathy not a cure - World Health Organization - (BBC News)

Dear all

Mr. Bashir Mahmud Ellias says:

"Homeopathy has invented effective cure for TB and malaria
more than hundreds years before allopathy".

But the fact remains,  the Modern medicine and related
Public Health measures have  practically eradicted tubercoulosis,
malaria, yellow-fever, small pox, plague, leprosy and many other
diseases from the face of the  earth. Life expectancy in every
country of the world is steadyly increasing, where modern medicine
has played a major role among many other factors.

According Mr. Bashir Mahmud Ellias's   own admission homeopathy
relies on symptomatic treatment

True science does not rely only on symptoms, In nature [that includes
human body] same symptoms may occure  due to different initiating
causes.  Modern medicine and today's sciences rely on  the cause
and effect relationship to analyze a phenomenon i.e a disease in this
case, to understand the root cause of a disease and base the
treatment process on the pathophysiology behind the symptom.

Again, there is no such thing that is called "allopathic" in today's world.
The term "allopathy" was coined in 1842 by Dr. C.F.S. Hahnemann,
the founder of  homeopathy, as a pejorative term.

FYI, the Medical School that bears the name Dr. C.F.S. Hahnemann,
the founder of  homeopathy has dropped homeopathy from it's programs
instead teaches Modern Medicine. :
[Hahnemann university school of medicine

PS: Mr. Ellias said: "World Health Organization is an allopathic organization.
So all of it's statements should be considered as an allopathic view point."

By the same token Mr. Bashir Mahmud Ellias is a homeopathic practicioner

So all of his statements should be considered as an homeopathic view point.

Undoubtly, Mr. Bashir Mahmud Ellias has a vested interest to establish
his own practice & homeopathic business. ...

In all the countries of the world homeopathy is considered as an alternative
medical intervention.  Commonly cited examples of such alternative  practice
include:
and diet-based therapies, in addition to a range of other practices.

Please don't take it too personally, no offence is intended....

Thanks for your patience, Mr Bashir Mahmud Ellias.

All advisers and executives of World Health Organization are allopathic doctors. Everybody knows that WHO is an allopathic organization. So all of it's statements should be considered as an allopathic view point.

Allopathy, I mean so called modern medicine is a pseudo-science but homeopathy is a pure science. Homeopathy is not only science but its an applied science. As the human body and mind are the most critical creation of God, so the homeopathic healing science is also hypercritical. And that's why, it is very much difficult to specialize in homeopathy. And when a guy fail to expertise in homeopathy, then he ridicules that it is not science. As like as fox who after his failure to pick grapes, satisfy himself telling that grapes are sour.

You may prove that allopathy is science. But I will say it is not beneficial science, rather harmful sciencs. As like as neuclear bomb is pure scientific invention and even though it is not a blessing for mankind.

Homeopathy teaches us that the (causes of) diseases remain in the energy level (which is called vital force) and so the medicines must be energy to actually cure the diseases. What we see in our body & mind are not diseases ; they are the result of diseases.

Only the homeopathic medicines are energy medicines because they are made by trituration & succussion. As this techniques are applied million times during potentizing homeopathic medicines, so they turn to energy and loses their material quality. In this regards, allopathic & other medicines are material & crude medicine, not energy medicine.

That's why, allopathic & other medicines can suppress the diseases, can remove the symptoms but cann't remove the causes of diseases, cann't touch the vital force, cann't affect the energy level. They just change the diseases by driving them from one organ to another.

Homeopathy also teaches us that the invasion of germs, creation of tumours, formation of stones etc are caused by our body stimulated by the misguided vital force. When homeopathic (energy) medicines back vital force to the track, then our body can start a reverse process (removes germs, absorbs tumours, dissolve stones etc).

Probably you know that it is two hundred years ago when Samuel Hahnemann invented Homeopathy, about 90% allopathic physician rejected this (for its apparently mystic & anti-allopathic theory). At the same all allopathic journals also boycotted homeopathy. Still there was many worldwide recognized homeopathic journal during first one hundred years of homeopathy. But the last one hundred years was the fall of homeopathy.

Because the allopathic doctors (who were/are majority) were united to destroy homeopathy & they achieve success by using their govt. (administrative) power. Homeopathy was almost reduced to zero and now homeopathy is again emerging as a medical science of future for the real truths it bears (and also for the failure of allopathy to solve the current vital health problems).

Homeopathy has invented effective cure for TB and malaria more than hundreds years before allopathy. What allopathy does in the name of curing TB and malaria is nothing but damaging patients health permanently by overdosing harmful chemical drugs. Allopathy has no success in the cure of HIV/ aids. But homeopathy can easily cure HIV/ aids if it is not complicated with other veneral diseases and if the patient's immune system were not damaged by overdosing allopathic harmful chemical drugs.

warm regards
Dr. Bashir Mahmud Ellias

The World Health Organization (WHO) is an umbrella UN
organization that helps the nations on Public Health & Epidemiological
issues. The WHO has played a vital role in eradicating small pox, malaria,
poliomyelitis, tuberculosis and many more diseases that used to cause
national havoc and general destruction in earlier days.

World Health Organization (WHO) emphesizes main-stream modern
medicine based on basic bio-medical sciences [Biochemistry, molecular
pharmacology, cellular & molecular physiology & anatomy, cell biology,
cancer biology, Immunology, Virology, Molecular Genetics, Microbiology,
neuroscience and neurobiology, epidemiology, biomedical engineering,
biotechnology, clinical investigation, medical pathology, diagonostic
methods, medical physics etc] but does not entirely negate the role played by
Homeopathy, Aromatherapy, Chiropractic Hydrotherapy, Magneto therapy *,*
Osteopathy, Reiki Acupuncture, Ayurveda, Naturopathy, Unani, herbalism,
faith healing, yoga, spiritual meditation and many other alternative
"treatment approaches" that exist in the world.

[chottala.com] US military chief wants more troops for Afghan war

US military chief wants more troops for Afghan war

AP – Joint Chiefs Chairman Adm. Michael Mullen testifies on Capitol Hill in Washington, Tuesday, Sept. 15, …
WASHINGTON – President Barack Obama's top military adviser endorsed an increase in U.S. forces for the worsening war in Afghanistan on Tuesday, setting up a split with leading Democrats in Congress and complicating an already-tough decision for the president himself.
Adm. Mike Mullen, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said the war is growing more complicated and the enemy gaining in sophistication. Winning will require more resources from outside Afghanistan, including more troops, Mullen told Congress.
"A properly resourced counterinsurgency probably means more forces, and without question, more time" and dedication, Mullen said.
Gen. Stanley McChrystal, the U.S. commander in charge of both American and NATO forces in Afghanistan, delivered a grim assessment of the war to Washington last month and is expected to follow up soon with a request for thousands of additional troops and more equipment.
That will leave Obama to decide whether to expand a war that polls say is rapidly losing public support in the U.S. and drawing pointed criticism in Congress. He has already roughly doubled the size of the American military force in Afghanistan since taking office, with only limited gains to show. Obama has an ambitious strategy to turn around a war that will soon enter its ninth year, and his aides say the plan needs time to work.
Mullen said he does not know how many additional troops McChrystal will request, but he left no doubt that the commander has concluded that the 21,000 U.S. troops Obama has already approved are not enough.
Sitting opposite Mullen, the Democratic chairman of the Senate Armed Service Committee was unswayed. Sen. Carl Levin of Michigan warned the White House last week that he does not want to see a request for more troops until the United States takes bolder action to expand Afghanistan's own armed forces.
"Providing the resources needed for the Afghan Army and Afghan police to become self-sufficient would demonstrate our commitment to the success of a mission that is in our national security interest, while avoiding the risks associated with a further increase in U.S. ground combat troops," Levin declared at Tuesday's hearing.
Several other Democrats have said they want a clearer timeline and measures of progress from the administration before approving large expansions of the troop commitment or mission. Congress has approved most of the money Obama requested for the war so far, but a large troop increase would probably require a separate add-on spending bill.
The head of the House's defense spending panel, Rep. John Murtha, D-Pa., this week questioned the logic of adding troops.
"In Vietnam it took 500,000 troops and that didn't solve the problem," the Vietnam veteran told the foreign policy blog The Cable. "We have to take a different approach."
Recent national polls indicate slipping support for the war and growing doubt that it can be won. The latest AP-GfK survey found that less than half — 46 percent — now approve of Obama's handling of Afghanistan, a 9 percentage point drop since July.
A CNN poll conducted this month said 39 percent supported the war and 58 percent opposed it. That compared with 53 percent supporting and 46 percent opposing in early April, days after Obama announced a new war strategy and vowed to provide resources in ways his predecessor had not.
Fifty-one U.S. troops died in Afghanistan in August, more than in any other month since the U.S.-led invasion in October 2001.
Mullen spoke at a hearing on his nomination for a second term as the nation's highest-ranking military officer. He is expected to win easy confirmation.
Mullen's remarks, cautious as they were, are the first clear marker in an internal debate over Obama's next steps. Defense Secretary Robert Gates has not made up his mind whether to support a troop increase beyond the current level of 68,000, his spokesman said. Gates has long worried publicly that too large a force in Afghanistan would be self-defeating because Afghans would see the troops as occupiers, but he has recently sounded resigned to at least a small expansion.
At the State Department, Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton told reporters Tuesday that the administration would deliberate "for some time," suggesting no decision was imminent.
"Everyone is providing their best ideas and making their contributions about the way forward in Afghanistan," Clinton said.
The Senate committee's ranking Republican, John McCain of Arizona, said committing too few forces to the war would invite a rerun of mistakes the U.S. made in Iraq. "I've seen that movie before," said McCain, the 2008 GOP presidential nominee.
Although Mullen and other senior military leaders say the Afghan armed forces are the key to a successful U.S. exit from the war, Mullen suggested Tuesday that reliance on more Afghan training at the expense of full-on combat is a false choice.
"Sending more trainers more quickly will give us a jump-start, but only that," Mullen said. "Quality training takes time and patience."
Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., took the point further. When Mullen told him it would take two to three years to train enough Afghan troops to do the job, Graham asked what would happen in Afghanistan in the meantime.
"I think the security environment will continue to deteriorate," Mullen replied.
Then Graham made a larger point about public support in the U.S., one that hung over all the specifics of troop levels and trainers and the abilities of the Afghan government.
"Do you understand you've got one more shot back home?" Graham asked, mentioning the poll results. "Do you understand that?"
"Yes, sir. Yes, sir."

Deep rifts at the heart of Western policy on Afghanistan were laid bare yesterday when President Obama's top military adviser challenged him to authorise a troop surge that his most senior congressional allies have said they will oppose.

An Iraqi journalist who threw his shoes at former U.S. President George W. Bush and became a hero among many Arabs has been released from an Iraqi prison.

Iraqi authorities freed Muntazer al-Zaidi from a Baghdad prison Tuesday after he served nine months in prison. Family members and several Iraqi lawmakers greeted him outside the jail.

Al-Zaidi threw his shoes at Bush and called him a "dog" last December in Baghdad as the U.S. leader gave a joint news conference with Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki. Bush ducked and avoided being hit.

After his release, al-Zaidi addressed the media at the Al-Baghdadia TV station where he worked, saying he blames Bush for Iraqi suffering since the 2003 U.S.-led invasion of his country. He also accused Iraqi authorities of torturing him in custody with electric shocks and beating him with cables. Al-Zaidi appeared to be in good health but was missing a tooth. He also said that while he is now free, Iraq remains in captivity, as he put it.

Al-Zaidi's protest caused embarrassment to the U.S. and Iraqi leaders. Footage of the incident was viewed widely across the world. It earned al-Zaidi celebrity status among many Arabs, who resent Bush's policies. But many Iraqis also say his protest was nothing to be proud of.

An Iraqi court initially sentenced al-Zaidi to three years in prison, but his term was reduced to one year on appeal and cut further on account of good behavior.

Some information for this report was provided by AFP, AP and Reuters.
