[chottala.com] Moeen Sighting [Shada Kalo Blog]

Moeen Sighting

Daily Star and others are reporting that CA FUA flew to Khulna, and his entourage included the international man of mystery, Gen Moeen.

Earlier, the Chief Adviser along with Chief of Army Staff General Moeen U Ahmed, Chief of Air Staff Air Marshal SM Ziaur Rahman and other high officials flew here by a helicopter at about 3:50 pm.
The rumors from Dhaka in the last few days indicated that Moeen will go into retirement and Masud will become the army chief of staff by December. Lets see what the next month brings.

Have you seen "Weekend at Bernie's"?

The silence from MUA was deafening. I will admit some bias, but I think we may have just seen Weekend at Bernie's III.

Possible, but I think he may be one his way to being sidelined. Coming soon to a theater near you: "NON-CIVILIAN: The Return"

J, who's your pick for the key role in non-civilian? Where is Hasan Mashud these days?

Well, Nov 21st ceremonies just got cancelled. Convenient for some people.

I keep hearing that Hasan Mashud really, really wants to be president. He thinks his seniority to Moeen gives him some sort of a superior claim.

What were the reasons behind cancelling the ceremonies? Please don't say "emergency"!:)

RIYADH - Oil-rich Saudi Arabia said on Monday it is
giving Bangladesh 100 million dollars in emergency aid
to help victims of a devastating cyclone, which left
    thousands dead.

King Abdullah also ordered the dispatch of food,
medical and other relief assistance to the victims,
according to a statement from the royal court.

Soldiers and relief workers were racing to get aid to
millions left homeless by the cyclone in Bangladesh,
where officials said the death toll had topped 3,100
and was certain to keep rising.

Untold numbers of desperate survivors were short of
food and water in southern Bangladesh, one of the
poorest areas of the world, which was battered by a
colossal storm Thursday night that swept entire
    villages away.

The Jeddah-based Organisation of the Islamic
Conference has called on governments and civil bodies
in its 57 member states to send urgent assistance to
    Bangladesh
