[chottala.com] Re: Transit Facilities to India - A case of plagiarism and intellectual theft

Dear Mr. Abu Zafar Mahmood,

The thesis that you have presented in your write-up on NFB (the issues raised in this post are not confined to that forum but apply to all discussion groups in general) is basically a summary of my book The India Doctrine (Bangladesh Research Forum - 2006). Not once in your article did you credit me or my book. You should have mentioned that it was through my book that these ideas originated and that I am also the first person to present them to the general public in Bangladesh. In academic circles what you have done is called plagiarism and intellectual theft.

Your attitude is quite common and is the main reason why nationalist forces in Bangladesh always falter because their views are often based on dishonest grounds and second hand ideas. What would have been your loss if you had mentioned the book in your article? There is no point in denying that you have committed a serious offence and plagiarized my book.

This same approach of copying ideas but not crediting them has also been perpetrated by other eminent writers in Bangladesh including many politicians, columnists and university professors who have used my ideas but not once mentioned me or my book. I find this insulting and utterly disgraceful.

For these reasons I demand an apology from you. I would also request all writers in Bangladesh to abide by common rules of decency and credit ideas and views that are not originally your own and have come from other sources which should also be fully cited.

Regards

Re: [chottala.com] The country do not need any sectarial science or office managment graduates?

CTG needs to open quality schools for providing professional quality education to the professional people including the Politicians, Media, Judicial & Law professional for making them clear understanding & realizing persons in making the differences.

It needs to know first

1)        Why was created the situation for coming this present 1/11 CTG   with Special Emergency Power?

2)        Who are the responsible persons for creating the terrible disaster in the country for State Emergency?

3)        What is the CTG?

4)        What are the reasons for making CTG in Bangladesh?

5)        Who are the makers of CTG?

6)        Why could not be possible to conduct Normal Election by Normal CTG?

7)        Who are the persons for making causes of failure to normal CTG?

8)        Now it can think

9)        What is RAB?

10)   Who makes RAB?

11)   What is the purpose for making RAB &

12)   What is the difference among RAB, all forces & other professionals

It is needed now by the concerned people for realizing that to understand any thing needs some understanding knowledge. To earn understanding knowledge requires some education. To understand the difference between the right & wrong or to make the difference between a Dakat & a soldier needs knowledge of quality education.

For earning knowledge of quality educational requires quality educational schools.

But it is the very regretful matter that Dhaka University or any educational institution in Bangladesh has no system & does not provide quality education.

On the other hand the Political Party Government does not require for thinking that for providing quality education to the professional people to make them understanding persons for making the differences to their actual duty & to do efficiently. .

So this CTG is advised & asked for making a system to provide quality education nation wide to all professionals for making them quality educated & quality understanding persons to make the differences &  to do their actual duty correctly in time. It can be asked CTG to provide nation wide job basis quality education nation wide for all category professionals for realizing the difference between a Dakat and a Soldier.

Examples can be given for learning that

1)       Who is Dakat what his work, Who is army what his work

Can you think both are equal?

2)       Who is chur what his duty, Who is police what his duty

Is it true that are the same the work of police & the work of chur?

3)        Who is politician what his function & what the relation among dakat army police chur& other professionals.

Can be thought that are all same? Have you Idea that in Bangladesh are all working with the same motive for reaching at the same destination to their aim of looting public money & power?

4)         Lastly all to know & to understand what is the duty & responsibility of the Government &

5)        What is being done in Bangladesh by the Government of Bangladesh?

The high court has no legal right to challenge the policy which is made by the legal CTG Council of CTG Government.

 Causes:

CTG appointed by the elected legal president is the constitutional legal Government for conducting fair & neutral election.

The CTG as a Care Taker Government in the CTG system can make any policy & can make any rules of law for Nation interest for creating Lawful Administration to conduct fair & neutral election & to rule the country for the people's well fare.

So the duty of the Judicial Department is to do trialing works & to give verdict according to the rules of law made by the National Assembly & the rules in absence of National Assembly made by the CTG Council.

The duty of the Government is to follow the rules of the constitution made by the National Assembly & the rules made by the CTG Council.

CTG can introduce Jury Board System in Judicial Verdicts for Establishing the Justice of law, Justice of human right for Establishing the faith to the public mind & to the society that Lawful Verdict is given by the Court. The Jury Board can be formed selecting the Jury Board members from the National Voter list.

CTG also needs to open quality schools for providing professional quality education to the professional people including the Politicians, Media, Judicial & Law professional for making them clear understanding & realizing persons in making the differences.

The country do not need any sectarial science or office managment graduates?
A case could be made against the decision that has been reported in the following news item attached below.

It can not be true that the country do not need these graduates. So, we must be missing something.

What is the problem with these two programs? Its too early to learn secretarial science? Or is it too early to learn office management?

Those who have worked in Dhaka knows that most of the good office secretaries and front office executives are O-level and A-level graduates who do not want to study further or who are just taking a break before they decide for higher studies. So, the same topics can not be too early for HSC level students. Rather it would seem logical that with the increase in our need to hire them as we expand our services industry, it should be seen a good way to produce more workers with soft-skills. So, why the counter-intuitive decision from the national curriculum board, who has so far proven beyond doubt that they have been a worthless some.

Or is it that the graduates of these programs are not as per expectation of the industry? If that is the case, then measures should be taken and the teachers should be trained so that they can produce better graduates, hopefully with more emphasis on at least one foreign language.

Or is it that these graduates have started taking away the jobs of O-level and A-level dropouts and at the same time, they might be bringing the salary level down, too. So, could this decision be a result of the lobbying of the english medium schools?

We should clarify that we are not here to accuse somebody for nothing. However, the decision seems to be counter-intuitive from the context of market need. All we are asking that some stakeholder should look into the actual reasoning and merit of the decision and make sure that it helps broader national interest. Business associations (e.g. FBCCI, DCCI, etc) are relavant shakeholders in this and they should be worried about this decision.

If you thought some of the ideas are worth of your reading time, please forward it to others. If you have an ear to the columnists in regular traditional media, please forward it to them. If you have an ear to the journalists and news editors of the electronic media, discuss it with them. Hope they would look at the suggestions and give due diligence.

Thanks for your time,

'Secretarial Science and Office Management' has been omitted from the higher secondary-level curricula in general and madrasa education with effect from 2009-10 academic session, an official announcement said yesterday.

The caretaker government took the step as a part of a recipe for updating the country's outmoded education system in keeping pace with the demand of the time at home and abroad.

"The decision was taken as per the recommendations of the National Curriculum Coordination Committee to make students interested in more important subjects in consistence with the global demand and to improve the standard of education at higher secondary level," read the announcement.

Students registered in this subject would get the scope for completing their education, it said.

If any registered student fails in the subject at the public examinations, he/she would be allowed to take part in the exams till his/her registration remains effective as per the existing rules.

Besides, the teachers of this subject working under MPO (Monthly Pay Order) facility will retain their job and they can teach other subjects, according to the measure taken by the Ministry of Education.

[chottala.com] Who is in charge of Bangladesh, US Ambassador James F. Moriarty?

Who is in charge of Bangladesh?
Fararuddin
Moyeen U
None of the above

If school children were asked the above quesion, most of them will say chief advisor Farruddin. But facts says otherwise. It seems it is the present US Ambassador James F. Moriarty who is a high profile Bushite diplomat. He speaks Chinese, Nepali, Urdu, French and Bangla. Previously he was the diplomat in Pakistan. He was posted in Bangladesh for some important mission not known to Bangladeshis. During his term in office "US Marine Corps surveys BD-India border-Collecting detailed terrain intelligence. US has asked for detailed terrain information about major cities including Dhaka as well as for details of all airports and airstrips in Bangladesh." Report says, most of these were done with the permission of advisor Fararuddin. But why?
Breaking the diplomatic decorum, lately, Morarty is inviting Bangladeshi politicians:
Gana Forum president Dr Kamal Hossain, Bangladesh Nationalist Party vice-chairman Chowdhury Kamal Ibne Yusuf and joint-secretary general Nazrul Islam Khan, The Daily Star editor Mahfuz Anam, Awami League organising secretary Saber Hossain Chowdhury, Jamaat-e-Islami organising secretary Barrister Abdur Razzak, Abul Hasan Chowdhury of PDP,  AL acting general secretary Syed Ashraful Islam and publicity secretary Asaduzzaman Noor were present in the previous meeting.
Economist Anu Muhammad said, 'Foreign embassies, especially the US embassy, have become the centre point of political affairs of Bangladesh, and the ruling class, especially politicians, is gradually becoming dependent on the embassies.' "The US government signed some secret treaties, which undermine the sovereignty of Bangladesh, using the members of that class in the past, he said. 'The people should identify the members of this class and they must be exposed.'"
Is Bangladesh with the heros of the liberation war still alive is slowly becoming a banana republic?
Who is this controversial US ambassador, Morarty? http://dhaka.usembassy.gov/ambassador.html What is his mission in Dhaka? Why some circle even calls him notorious?
Morerty is working with another controversial diplomat, UK ambassador Stefan Evans. This is during the crucial period of the prolonged CTG rule. Morerty is leaving for US to report about people's mood in Bangladesh. We wonder why a small country like Bangladesh becomes so important? Then India demands transit from this unelected government!  Who is in charge of Bangladesh? Where is Hasina? Can she hear Bangladeshis's cries for their leader's help?
It seems that it now it is only the will of the independent-minded Bangladeshis that will save the country.
Thus begins the clash between Bangladeshis vs. the puppets (Indian Rajakars)that will decide the fate of Bangladesh.
Bangladeshis now ask, "who is in charge of Bangladesh? Who is in charge of Bangladesh?"

[chottala.com] Save Our Motherland Bangladesh: Transit to India is Bringing Crocodile through Digging a Canal

Save Our Motherland Bangladesh:Transit to India is Bringing Crocodile through Digging a Canal
Abid Bahar

If transit is allowed through the heartland of Bangladesh, it will be as if bringing crocodile through digging a canal. The issue is, the CTG is not an elected government and transit is an issue related to sovereignty, security and economic factors. The News Today Monday July 14 2008 reported: "The [CTG] government earlier was sympathetic about the transit issue. It was in a mood to propose to India to conduct a feasibility study on the rail transit but the Indian High Commissioner''s public statement on this sensitive issue has forced the government to change its earlier position" the source said. Why should CTG show interest in it is a question repeatedly asked in Bangladesh!

Why Bangladesh should never allow land transit to India. Here are the 7 reasons:

1. India has proven itself as an untrustworthy friend/neighbour. During the liberation war, while helping Bangladesh liberation, it secretly built the Farakka dam. "Farakka was commissioned on permission from Mujib on the condition that it will have test run for only 40 days. But unfortunately those 40 days is yet to be finished (even after 37 years) and Bangladesh is getting the pinch of dry rivers. Further 53 other international rivers were stopped by [India;] making barrage/dams/ groins virtually making lower riparian country Bangladesh's rivers dry."

During Bangabandu's rule, the Rakkhi Bahini head was made an Indian. The jute head quarter was transferred to Delhi. With the Mujib -Indira Pact, river demarcation based on the mid current was made for Bangladesh to lose land because the rivers originate from India. Bangladesh is losing land to India, it is now a serious problem. Bangabandu was persuaded to hand over the sovereignty of "BERUBARI" in return of "Tin Bigha."But Tin Bigha was never returned. Lately a Berline wall was built in Bengal to so-called stop Bangladeshis cross the border but mainly intended to permanently divide Bengal. India jammed the Bangladesh TV. As a matter of target practice, India regularly kills Bangladeshi joans in the border region. Even before the investigation, India now blames Bangladesh for every terrorist act within its borders.

History tells us that "due to sinking of several ships in Chittagong Port during Liberation War..., it was difficult to import ...essentials for war torn Bangladesh. Bangladesh requested India to just to allow using Calcutta Port for only six months," that was in 1972. India refused the request."

2. Without the transit, India's seven non Indian sisters in the North East that now depend on Bangladesh for manufactured goods, but with transit, India will sell its own product to the region and Bangladesh will lose.

3. India doesn't want to allow Bangladesh to have land route with Nepal and Bhutan which is purely for trade purpose, India shows the excuse that it goes against its territorial integrity, using the same logic Bangladesh can not allow transit.
"Bangladesh wanted only 16 miles transit to pave for easy trade between two SAARC countries Bangladesh and Nepal." Now India wants 600 miles of corridor. Bangladesh should never allow transit to India.

4. Financial benefit from transit fees would outweigh its other disadvantages; Bangladesh would risk destroying its own roads and highways, infect its citizens AIDS. Roads and highways will be neglected by the chauvinistic Indian traders and military personnel that will be passing through Bangladesh's heartland.

5. India is an unreliable keeper of promises. It failed to keep up to the signed treaties of Farakka's water sharing and the return of Bangladesh terrory in exchange. India first fix these problems than only trust building will lead to transit. RAW fed Indian chauvinistic government will never go for a fair deal because its sole purpose is to help Bangladesh develop into a failed state.

6. Transit through Bangladesh will allow India to increase its repression in its occupied North East. For such repression, Bangladesh suffered in the hand of Pakistan and now as a peace-loving country, it shouldn't allow India to increase its repression over its non Hindi/ largely Asian/ Christian and Buddhist minority people unfortunate for the people that were made part of India. At the same time such a deal would make these Indian separatists rebels find Bangladesh a target.

7. Indian treaties are politically motivated. While Mujib signed the Mujib-Indra 25 year treaty resulting in the trade deficit, water shortage, border issues dispute, and dependence on India to the India friendly Mujib's unpopularity and within a short period of time made Bangladesh bankrupt, Bangabandu's "the bottomless basket case." Bangabandu's reliance on an untrustworthy friend even brought his own death.

If the past experience with India is a guide, it is believed that people in favor of transit to India are the ignorant India- lovers popularly known in Bangladesh as the "Indian Razakars" who are inviting trouble for Bangladesh. For such an issue we suggest for a national referendum. If people decide, let it be, if not, never!

Why the CTG to bother on the transit issue which the former two elected governments refused to deal with? It appears that the CTG was brought to power by groups aligned with foreign powers, one of them is India. The CTG brought to power through the excuse of anarchy. It seems CTG backed my Moyeen is now showing its responsibility to its constituency-India.

It was through the AL led unrest and anarchy in the late 2006-2007 that evaded the 90 days limit of the CTG duration. It appears that the CTG's corruption charges are simply excuses to have the minus 2 policy and to install a future Moin U military government! This is now evident in General Moin U, Bangladesh government employee illegally receiving the Indian 7 horses.

As it appears, Bangladesh is infested with RAW agents and unrest in the cities and in tribal areas continue while countries like Vietnam and Singapore continue the pace of development.

Under the circumstances, if transit is allowed through the motherland, the Bangladesh country, it will be as if bringing crocodile through digging a canal. Once transit is given, Bangladesh will not be in a position to take it back, for, India is increasingly becoming powerful. It will kill Bangladeshis with the excuse of being terrorists or drug -dealers, as US does in Columbia with its puppet government. India also has super connection with the Super Power US- Israel. For Bangladesh, India is a danger in the making! Never allow transit to India!

With US help, India is building war fleets and submarines with torpedoes. To keep its growing power from Africa up to Australia, in the Indian Ocean, it is arming itself. Without the transit, Bangladesh's existence is almost threatened but with transit, like the US-Pak former friendship, and today's Pakistan, Bangladesh with the CTG's wide-open US-India love policy will be a breeding ground for anti-US- Indian fundamentalism, which ofcourse US wants as an excuse to keep a military dictatorship. Never allow transit to India!

Finally, why India is forcing Bangladesh's nonelected government for a deal? The answer is, it is it's elected government! India is not a trustworthy friend. Its attitude is to create pressure and seek concession. Bangladesh to survive should never allow transit to India.

Bush''s New Cons in Bangladesh! Why Hasina is silent?

The other development that "US Marine Corps wants to survey BD-India border-Collecting detailed terrain intelligence. Who are these people taking advantage of the CTG government? Are these the Americans or Bush's New Cons? Link: The Bangladesh Today:
