Re: [chottala.com] Lawful Administration & Social Justice in Bangladesh said Dr Dipu Moni the Foreign Minister of Bangladesh

The news is read that Dr Dipu Moni the Foreign Minister of Bangladesh has told in Parliament that "BAL Government is promised to nation for establishing Lawful Administration & Social Justice in Bangladesh. In this process to establish social justice they are determined to do trial of the war criminals".

It is very good News.

But question is arising;

Who will do that trialing works of the war criminals?

Is any there any honest judicial lawful department in Bangladesh to do that trial lawfully?

Because it is true that last Government that means Government of Mr.  Fakkruddin Administration under Dr Mr. Iujuddin president has filed a lot trialing cases to court against the corrupted persons including present prime minister & present opposite leader along with other a lot of political leaders of who many of them were also got long term punishment according to the judicial court verdicts.

But after election all court convicted persons were realized & all cases are withdrawing without doing any hearing works for trials.

In this circumstance it can be said that either Mr. Fakkrudin Administration has done wrong or the instruments of judicial department are not honest.

If Mr. Fakkrudin's Administration has done wrong by arresting the corrupted persons then election held under this wrongful Administration is not also correct. Or if the instruments Judicial departs are not honest then how could be done lawful trial by this dishonest instrumental Judicial department

So Mr. Dipu Moni is advised to be wise with perfect understanding knowledge for doing her duty honestly & to try for understanding what is she speaking & what is she or her cabinet ministry doing after being elected by the people & getting salary other a lot benefit from the tax & vat of the world poorest people of Bangladesh?

[chottala.com] a tribute to a freedom fighter, a bengal tiger, battle of modinaghat and 1971

Mr. S.M Kamaluddin who was a valiant Freedom fighter passed away on 4th June 2009. He was buried in Middle Madarsha, Hathajari Chittagong on Satuday, June 6, 2009 with state honor.
During 1971, Modinaghat by the river Halda, a branch of the river Karnaphuli was an extremely important strategic location in our liberation war.
There was a center by the Modinaghat Bridge through which considerable power distribution used to take place. There was a check post of the Pakistan Army at Modinaghat. The Post was highly fortified and the Pak army was extremely vigilant there. This location was a symbol of the tyranny, arrogance, abuse, killings and atrocities committed by the Pak forces in our area.
During the Independence war, Mr.Kamal led the Mukti Bahini in a highly sophisticated attack against Pakistani Army at this post. There were heavy casualties on the Pakistani forces. The power distribution plant was destroyed which was one of the objectives. This was one of the first major successful attacks against the Pakistan Army in Chittagong. The attack was symbolic as it instilled confidence and implanted the resolve to defeat the enemy.
The Pak forces spread rumors at the aftermath of the operation that Mr. Kamal was killed and his dead body was floating in the river Halda.
There was another rumor that Mr. Kamal was killed by Salahuddin Quader Chowdhury , who tried to capture and kill him in previous raids.

We were extremely sad. While this was going on, we got news through an informant that uncle Kamal was alive he would be coming to our village home at a particular night to see us. I wanted to go see him along with my father. My father thought about the danger involved in going to see him. At the end love and desire to see him won over reason.

From Chittagong City there were two ways to go to our village Middle Madarsha by the river Halda. One way was through Fateyabad, close to the Chittagong Cantonment and the Chittagong University.
The second way was through Modinaghat. Communication to our village home was better through even though the Pak army would thoroughly search us.
In addition to that, we would have to have our identity cards with us(the Pakistani troops used command us: "Dandi Card Nikalo").
We secretly travelled from the City to our village home through the second route to avoid the Check Post.

Uncle Kamal came to see us at night. He embraced me and lifted me up in his arms. It was an electrifying moment. We were so happy to see him alive. He left for India after 26th March 1971. There he got guerilla training in India before coming back to take over as the commander of Mukti Bahini in our area. I was not old enough to join the Mukti Bahini in 1971, but will remember this moment as long as I live to tell posterity about the days of our liberation war as I have seen through my uncle.
He was involved in many successful operations against the Pak forces until the liberation of Bangladesh on 16th December, 1971. The entire nation was ecstatic on 16th December, 1971. I felt the ultimate high when we finally greeted him with flowers on December 18, 1971 upon his return from the battlefield. You had to be there to breathe and smell the freedom of liberation in the air of liberated Bangladesh !

My hats off to you my dear uncle. God has been always with you, God has taken you and may God give you the best place in heavens for fighting against injustice and
for taking the side of the people in protecting and liberating them.
And thanks to you I have seen the birth of Bangladesh from so close and
thanks to you I have tasted freedom with its true meaning.

I would like to urge Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to honour this valiant
Son of our soil so that his contribution for the liberation of Bangladesh
will be remembered forever.

tariq matin

[chottala.com] BIGGEST BAND CONCERT IN DC: 15th August, 7 pm - DATE IS CHANGING to TBD

All,

We sincerely apologize for setting up our band show date on 8/15/09. It was an honest mistake from our part as we did not think it through and wanted to do the show before the opening of schools/Ramadan and on Saturday. We meant no disrespect to anyone especially to our Father of the Nation. We will change the date and announce it as soon as we get a decent venue. I thank you all for your understanding.
