[chottala.com] Ph.D.

Subject: Ph.D.

FYI:

"Many Universities are offering Ph. D. degree to me but I could not
avail
these because I have shortage of time" said by ex-Prime Minister of
Bangladesh and Bangakaonna Sheikh Hasina. During her 5 years reign, she
obtained nine Ph.
D. degrees from various universities of the world. In fact, by obtaining
nine Ph. D. degree, she set up an world record. It is believed that
there
is no such person in the world who could be able to obtain nine Ph. D.
degree in his life time. Sheikh Hasina, who is a graduate of Dhaka
University, didn't complete her Masters degree but now she became the
richest person in the world in context of having Ph. D.

Last two years, a team of the Government officials was assigned to
contact
various universities of the world for finding any scopes to obtain Ph.
D.
degree for Sheikh Hasina. Thanks to almighty, they were able to manage
following degrees for her:

1. Doctor of Science: Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibar Rahman Agricultural
University, Bangladesh.
2. Doctor of Laws: Boston University, USA.
3. Doctor of Laws: Waseda University, Japan.
4. Doctor of Liberal Arts: University of Albertay, Scotland.
5. Doctor of Literature (Deshikottom): Bishwabharati, India.
6. Doctor of Laws: National University, Australia.
7. Doctor of Laws: Dhaka University, Bangladesh.
8. Doctor of Laws: Catholic University, Belgium.
9. Doctor of Human Letters: Bridgeport University, USA.

Sheikh Hasina somehow managed nine Ph. D. degrees without suitable
academic
background but she spent millions of poor people's money for traveling
various countries to collect her degrees. It is also rumored that she
spent
huge public money for purchasing most of the Ph. D. degree she obtained.
Wastage of poor people's money for obtaining useless degrees is not
acceptable. We demand proper investigation of such unethical activities of
the past Awami League Government.

CTG can open quality schools for providing professional quality education to the professional people including the Politicians, Media, Judicial & Law professional for making them clear understanding & realizing persons in making differences.

First needs to know

1)        Why was created the situation for coming this present 1/11 CTG   with Special Emergency Power?

2)        Who are the responsible persons for creating the terrible disaster in the country for State Emergency?

3)        What is the CTG?

4)        What are the reasons for making CTG in Bangladesh?

5)        Who are the makers of CTG?

6)        Why could not be possible to conduct Normal Election by Normal CTG?

7)        Who are the persons for making causes of failure to normal CTG?

8)        Now it can think

It can be pointed out that Dhaka University or any educational institution in Bangladesh has no system & does not provide quality education.

On the other hand

The Political Party Government does not require for thinking that for providing quality education to professional people to make them understanding persons for making differences to their actual duty & to do their duty efficiently.

So

This CTG can be asked for making a system to provide quality education nation wide to all professionals for making them quality educated & quality understanding persons to make differences & to do their actual duty correctly in time & to provide nation wide also job basis quality education nation wide for all category professionals for realizing difference between a Dakat and a Soldier for learning & knowing that

2)       Who is chur what his duty, who is police what his duty Are same the work of police & the work of chur?

3)        Who is politician what his function & what are relations among dakat army police chur & other professionals? Are all (police army politicians chur & dakat) same? Have Idea that in Bangladesh are all (police army politicians chur & dakat) working with same motive for reaching at same destination aiming of looting money & power?

4)         What the duty & responsibility of Government are? What is being done in Bangladesh by Government of Bangladesh?

5)        What the duty of Court of Judicial department?? Is either making rules of law' or is to follow existing rules of law of constitution for doing trial works against any complaint??          .

The Court has no legal right to challenge the policy which is made by the legal CTG Council of CTG Government.

Causes:

This present CTG appointed by elected president for conducting fair &                                                                                                                                                                   & nbsp;                                                                                            neutral election after disaster had created in Bangladesh at fighting on street by politicians is constitutional legal Government

The CTG as a Care Taker Government in CTG system can make any policy & can make any rules of law for Nation interest for creating Lawful Administration to conduct fair & neutral election & to rule the country for people's well fare.

So

1)       The duty of Judicial Department is to do trialing works & to give verdict according to rules of law made by National Assembly & rules in absence of National Assembly made by CTG Council.

2)       The duty of Government is to follow rules of constitution made by National Assembly & rules made by CTG Council.

3)       CTG can introduce Jury Board System in Judicial Verdict for Establishing Justice of law, Justice of human right for creating faith to public mind & to society that Lawful Verdict is given by Court.

4)       Jury Board can be formed by                                                                                                                                                                                    member selecting from National Voter list.

[chottala.com] Re: [notun_bangladesh] Anti Corruption or Shaming the Nation?

Ayubi Bhai

The history of Freedom fight and rule by BAL and it's luichcha friend should be put under serious scrutiny.Millions and millions lies are told day in day out with an aim to mesmerize the the people(the BAL always take the jonogon  as mere fools) reign supreme.
Tajuddin removed the then Chairman & MD of HBFC in hours notice since that honest and stubborn guy refused to obey some illegal orders.

The otherday someone wrote that when he visited the 14 Thaetre Road  , Calcutta the exile Bangladesh Govt. Secretariat and found the stalwart includding the then PM playing cards. But he is also focussed as valiant rebel leader who led the FF. Infact RAW was always running the ill spirited exile Bangladesh Government and now running the BAL politics,90% media(both electronis/print) and baby sitting the "Sharmeo jibis".

So we have to be carefull and vigilant about BAl as well as BNP politics. The Janwar jamatis must be put out of the scene of Bangladesh.

The above actions of Tajuddin was made with very long term objective of making the beurocracy meritless and corrupt so that the politicains ahnd foreign masters could reap its benefits. Friends

Who says no to the correct assertion that BAL is the only crerator and the only sustainer and only champion and pioneer in institutionalizing the corruption at grassroots level since independence. This is the conviction of the  majority of the conscious people of Bangladesh. Some says in public some doesn't.

The legacy of Churi, Chechrami, itrami, mastani, rape,Chintai of Ballot Box(DU by the great Seikh Kamal) started by BAL as they claimed that they have only sacrificed everything for Sadhinata and non else.
So, they have to realize the investment !!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!! .

Sheikh Mujib like a mean and
blind party  leader always said in loud voice that it is his BAL who brought the independence and sacrificed everything. So, he ignored the large scale churi, chamamri etc etc by his party goons. These are historical facts and truth the nation obseved then.

By thus the great leader gave the stunning blow to the sacrifices of the millions Martyrs and millions of Muktijodhdhas who did not belong to any party.

My point is that what tainted field of corruption BAL left the succeeding political governments including the Luichcha just enhanced the scope and shared with their predecessor. The BAL enjoyed almost the same facilities during nine  years the rule of thier netris close partner Luichcha Ershaidda. It was reported then in news media that the Agni son Tofael,Razzak, amu etc etc enjoyed the de-facto status of ministers as collaborators of ther gretest Bishaw Behaia and Luichcha Ershadidda.

So, non of the political governments till date are"Dhoa Tulshi Pata"  and all are seriously tainted with different accusations right  from corruption to abuse of power and amassing unbelievable amount of  money in and outr of the country leaving the teeming millions starve and suffer.

So, I again reiterate that only and the only "Capital Punishment" is  the only resort to save the sinking nation and get rid of the corrupt, traitors, concubines, paa chata indis dalals. Anybody and everybody whosoever is found guilty of any charges  should be mercilessly awarded the harshest punishment will surely act as serious deterrent and pave the way for a better and disciplined Bangladesh which is the burning need of the hour.

If we look at China we will see that how much the so-called the Western stooges HR/Democracy actors bla bla are shouting against them it is continuing it's policy to root out corruption and  clean the country and gain socio - econo development. By thus China is a threat to the economy of the Western powers.

We have wasted enough time listening to the bull shits and tons of lies of the mother(s) of corruption(self & family) "that if we are voted than we garland the honesty(???) and so and so forth" and turn Bangladesh into heaven ( heaven of what ????????).

In my opinion we must look for alternative to these two most tainted party(though it would be difficult) and help  new but committed people may be with less political acumen and expertise but imbibed with patriotism to usher our beloved Bangladesh to the to desired dream that the unfortunate and ignored (by the tainted politics) Great Mukti Jodhdhas.

I know it will not come in one day but again I am confident that a rich country like Bangladesh has no scarcity of right compeers to steers it's destiny. The only thing is that we have to have a forward planning to shape our destiny with a complete unanimity but not following any political partiys philosophy to undermine our independence and sovereignty.

Anti Corruption or Shaming the Nation?
Abid Bahar

Eversince the CG (CareTaker Government) came to power, things have changed for worse.  Bangladesh already has image problem. Putting the two Prime Ministers in jail for over a year with thousands of political leaders, business leaders, the latter led the dynamism in the economy to compete inyernationally were also the targets and were put in jail. The whole nation was stunned. Judiciary came under the military's control. Even killing and paralyzing people before finding them guilty, terrorizing the nation with vindictiveness, people now are beginning to question, whose Care-taker government is this? Is this Anti Corruption or Shaming the Nation? We have no clue where is Bangladesh heading for?

The Chronology of events might give some clues:
BNP's term of office was going to be over in December 2007.
December 2006 Hasina led country wide strike and demonstration alledging favouratism by the appointed caretaker government officials.
January 2007 hooded man set fire in Bangladesh's garment factories, the High Court was vandalized.
January 2007 10 people were killed on day light in front of the Baitul Mokarram Mosque. Hasina said, "We will kill ten for one."
January 2007 Bangladesh's ports remained closed.
AL prepareing the coalition, and accepts Ershad, accepted Khalafat. Suddenly Hasina boycotted election after Ershad was declared disqualified to join election.
January 11, 2007 Motiur Rahman of Prothom Alo, a pro-Indian journalist instead of keeping safe distance from the seats of power invited the army to help form a care taker  government.

Who is who in the Care Taker government!
Chief advisor was a former World Bank employee under Profullah Patel of Guzrat.
Iftikher Chowdhury was a Pope's prize winner, for what? The pope was a Muslim antagonist.
The army chief Moin U who was appointed by Khalida Zia at the recommendation of a Noakhali BNP leader. Moin U was a former pro-Indian mujibbadi.
Motiur Rahman was a former Moni Singh pro-Indian-Moscowvi te communist now a free-thinker.
Anam of the Daily Star is also involved with the care-taker government. In the past he was a leader of the Muzaffer NAP, now is a free-thinker.
Devebpriya now the head of the Bangladesh mission in Geneva is a pro-Indian element.

The Care Taker Government made Tarek the epitome of corrupted person. Report shows he was both immature and arrogant; it was his mother as the Prime Minister who should have been stern with Tarek... He was too young for a responsible job. Surprisingly,  it is not Tarek alone, it is both of our former Prime Ministers who were arrested on corruption charges along with their innumerable ministers, some on alchohol charges.  However, some recently published works on General Mion U shows he himself was involved in favouratism to his relatives.

When Ershad came to power, his was also to fight corruption. Remember, Abdus Satter and his cabinet was made to look as the most corrupt people. Whatever, it is now clear that the corruption charges were deliberately orchrastrated more then it is in reality. So we question whose care taker govt is this? Why immediately after the coup in Feb 2007 Moin U goes to India and was given a state honor and awarded 7 horses by the Indian government? In whose wings did he fly to India? In the past, many other declared pro-Indian Generals like Khaled Moshraf seen as betrayer couldn't even cross the Dhaka city limit!

It appears that the whole act of corruption charges is to shame the nation by forces that doesn't want to respect the sovregnity of Bangladesh. The victim is obviously Bangladesh and the Bangladesh nationalist forces that India wishes to destroy to make Bangladesh dependent on India- a matter of Nehru's chauvanistic India Doctrine!.Was Rajib Gandhi, Amitav Baschand were arrested and put in jail on corruption charges? No. If we don't know how to respect ourselves no one would!

So we question, why Motiur Rahman of Prothom Alo, a known India -lover was the go-between with Moin U?
Why lately India prepared a draft of transit and demanded from an unelected government?
Why Iftikhar Ahmed said he will leave the transit issue in such a position that future governments will have to give transit to India and under public outrage shyed away from it?
Why the CG is signing the Gas and other treaties with foreign companies?
Why is it delaying election?
Why the US is surveying Bangladesh with full permission of the Chief Advisor?
Was the Dec 2006 and January 2007 events of anarchy were staged? Is the great AL party's decision not to join the election opportunist or manipulated by outside forces?
Is Hasina's AL now infiltrated by the RAW?

Who is running under the tide? Who is the third force?

Moin U seems to be a low calibred, opportunist and power hungry military General but keeps immense courage. If there is no election in December, if the two national Parties are not allowed to join the election, he will surely be seen misleading a country of 150 million. Is Moin U then going to be remembered as the Mir Jafforullah of Bangladesh? For Moeen U. Ahmed said in April and BBC reported: "We do not want to go back to an elective democracy where corruption becomes all pervasive, governance suffers in terms of insecurity and violation of rights, and where political criminalisation threatens the very survival and integrity of the state," Lt Gen Moeen U Ahmed told a conference in the capital Dhaka".

Tariq is not the leader that Bangladesh can look forward to.  He does not have the vision. I fail to understand as to why he tried to woo the Visva behaya  , a RAW operative and killer of Zia.  He can never be part of the nationalist forces. This behaya was behind all the problems that we are seeing today.
It was his tactical mistake to remove B. Choudhury from his position. The time was not right and it damaged the party and its image.
His selection of the Army chief was made without thorough checking of the background of the person concerned.
The problem that BNP is in today is the resut of Tariq's imature actions. I refuse to say iktidae tu behazal Imam to him..

From the  newspaper report and write of Ranju sarkar published in Amadershomoy, it is clear that the  diplomate of the big brother in the subcontinent  in bangladesh forced CTG to arrest  Tareq zia and now working against his release for treatment.

What i understand is that  Tareq's vision to run a  coalition government of all pro- Bangladeshi parties( for which he was eager to get Ershad with four party allience ) which has made  pro-indian force  ascending to power very difficult  has become  dangerous for the life of Tareq.

May Allah  be helpful to the pro- Bangladeshi people and leaders.

Nehru Doctrine is to destroy Nationalist forces.

We heard that Tarik is not honest. but legally speaking, no one should be made guilty, paralyzed, sentenced to death by the anti- Bangladesh nationalist RAW owned foreign propaganda machines in Bangladesh before one (Tarek Zia) is conclusively found guilty by the judiciary, free from the influence of the pototoe -head General Moyeen U, his ally prothom alo's Motiur Rahman and the Indian advisors. At present, under the emergency rule, the judiciary is controlled by Moyeen and the pro-Indian showbiz boys.

In the name of justice, Moti-Moyeen (communist -mujibbadi) progotibadi susil samaj andolon, these two are are destroying the nationalist forces. Nehru Doctrine is to destroy nationalist forces in smaller countries.

[chottala.com] Fw: [BdOsInt Monitors] Bangladesh: The Coming Political Alignment

Subject: [BdOsInt Monitors] Bangladesh: The Coming Political Alignment

Although the contents of that meeting are not widely known, they are going to prove crucial as to how the government's last six months pass. Sheikh Hasina, long this military government's most outspoken and strident critic, has maintained a studious silence over the military government. This silence, added with the fact that the top Bangladeshi diplomats in England and the United States went to receive her when she landed in these countries, have added to these speculations.

As Jyoti Rahman has pointed out, that Bangladesh's politics is currently a three-player game, makes it extremely difficult, if not impossible, to resolve without putting one side out of business. It looks like the current government has picked the AL combine to blunt as much of the BNP-led alliance's protests, before RAB and DGFI take care of the rest.

Personally speaking, I don't think combining with JP will help AL that much. Any combine looks to attract Jatiyo Party for mainly two regions of the country: Greater Rangpur, including Rangpur, Kurigram, and Thakurgaon, and some seats in Sylhet. With JP's vote share shrinking in greater Rangpur every election, there is one party that has been edging them out, and that is AL. This year, I doubt JP would win ten seats in total if they contested elections by themselves.

The military government's original plan was to led the 14-party led alliance led by AL contest by themselves, while JP would lead a Nationalist- lite combine, trying to divert away as many votes and seats away from BNP as possible. However, this would mean that AL would be the governing party, and the JP-led combine, at best, the main opposition party in the parliament. And Ershad does not have time for this. He is already 78; the man who came to state power in Bangladesh twenty-six years ago through a military coup, badly wants another taste of state power for the last years of his life, and he believes that another military coup has given him the perfect opportunity to achieve his goal.

Awami League would probably be better off not aligning with JP. For one thing, this alignment would immediately mean that the heavy artillery they would aim at the BNP in the coming elections about being aligned with Jamaat would automatically be that much less effective. Also, for the January 22nd elections, AL roped in JP, and Bikolpo Dhara, and LDP, and they were still not confident enough that the gains in votes would be enough to offset the seats they had to give up. That these parties will be helpful to the AL in the coming elections is even less helpful.

Sheikh Hasina is trying to survey, from London and Virginia, the extent of damage that AL has suffered in the last two years, and how much loyalty she still retains amongst the AL top leadership. Her old loyalists, like Obaidul Quader and Dr. Mohiuddin Khan Alamgir, were among the first people imprisoned by the military government, so as to weaken her grip on the party as much as possible. It remains to be seen what decision she take regarding Ershad, and how much freedom she will have to take such a decision.

[chottala.com] Religion and the state -Burqa and citizenship By Rafia Zakaria

Religion and the state
Burqa and citizenship
To first exclude a minority through racism and xenophobia and then turn around and castigate those same immigrants for the "failure to assimilate" seems like a redundant and malicious policy

On July 16, 2008, the Couseil D'Etat, France's highest administrative court issued a decision denying French citizenship to 32-year-old Faiza Mabchour. According to the decision her citizenship application was denied because she had "failed to integrate" and because her acquiescence to wear the niqab demonstrated behaviour "incompatible with the essential values of the French community and notably the principle of equality of the sexes".

Since the Conseil's decision in the Mabchour case, politicians from the French Left and Right have endorsed the decision lauding it as a "springboard to the emancipation and freedom of women". Notable among these has been Fadela Amara, an Algerian born minister for urban affairs who called the niqab a means of oppressing women saying: "it's not an expression of religiosity, but the visible expression of a totalitarian position."

Emanuelle Prada Bordenave, the Commissioner who issued the decision noted that Faiza Mabchour "lives virtually as a recluse disconnected from French society, she has no conception of laicite (the French principle of secular state), nor the right to vote and she lives in total subservience to the men in her family"

The woman at the centre of the controversy, Faiza Mabchour moved to France in 2000 when she married a Frenchman of Algerian origin. The mother of three attempted to defend her decision to wear the niqab in her immigration application by stating that other immigrants also maintain "ties to their culture of origin". Both she and her husband admitted to French immigration officials that they were adherents of Salafism.

The refusal of citizenship to Ms Mabchour is the first decision in which a woman has been refused French citizenship based on the charge of "insufficient assimilation".

While avowed feminists like Fadela Amara are lauding the French state's activist stance in making a bold statement against the niqab, their pronouncements in the name of feminism fail to see the multidimensional nature of the problem or the larger impact of denial of citizenship on immigrant women in France.

Indeed, if the uplift and emancipation of women is the ultimate purpose that the French state is devoted to, the question that emanates from the particular controversy is how the denial of citizenship to a woman, already known to be oppressed within her family, furthers the project of liberating her?

To be clear, French citizenship, the right to vote and the eligibility to obtain state benefits would have entitled Ms Mabchour to greater rights than those available to her in the legal limbo between non-citizenship and citizenship. It is ironic indeed then that that the denial of citizenship is being painted as a victory for the emancipation of women.

The dynamics of the controversy are instructive because the construction of the debate as a choice between French secular principles that frown on religious expression in the public sphere versus extreme and radical interpretations of Islam which relegate women to an anonymous life behind the niqab eliminates from the conversation the more vexing issues of xenophobia, anti-immigrant prejudice and economic disenfranchisement that also afflict France.

Indeed, painting the fight as a valorous one between progressive French ideals of gender equality and the archaic medieval oppression of the niqab creates a convenient black and white equation where the obvious choice for all who support equality lies neatly with the decisions of the French state.

Yet, as report after report has demonstrated, issues of Islamic extremism and the reticence of France's Muslims to engage with the larger French society represent a complex melee of systemic economic disenfranchisement of France's Muslim minority. The geographic ghettoisation of France's Muslims in economically depressed urban suburbs, the lack of employment opportunities, rampant discrimination against minorities all represent crucial structural issues which are all conveniently swept under the veil controversy.

According to the Annual Report published by the European Monitoring Centre on Racism and Xenophobia a recent survey carried out in France revealed that a man of Maghrebian origin had only a 36 percent chance of being called to an interview after submitting his resume while a Frenchman (with a French surname) had a 100 percent chance.

A similar study by the International Labour Office carried out in six different French cities revealed that a man with a French last name was preferred over a man of Maghrebian or Black African origin four out of five times. Other reports of discrimination also abound: in one recent case 72 Muslim baggage handlers working at a French airport were summarily fired because they were believed to be a "security risk". There was no investigation of their background or even the "degree of assimilation" before the determination was made, they were fired simply because their choice of religion was considered too suspicious to warrant continued employment.

The discussion serves to illustrate the complexities of the veiling and niqab issue in the context of Muslim minorities living in Europe. The symbolic terror of the head-to-toe black shroud and the relegation of women to its recesses has in an unfortunate play of rhetoric, become a convenient scapegoat that deflects attention from the many ways in which the French state has failed its immigrants.

While states undoubtedly have a right to mandate and expect loyalties to their founding ideological principles, to first exclude a minority through racism and xenophobia and then turn around and castigate those same immigrants for the "failure to assimilate" seems like a redundant and malicious policy.

Finally, the ultimate tragedy ensconced in the French court's decision is that it takes a woman it knows to be victimised and then deliberately and purposefully victimises her some more by relegating her to a non-citizen status worthy of even fewer rights.

If Faiza Mabchour was victimised once by an oppressive interpretation of Islam chosen by her husband she was victimised again by the French state, who posturing as supposed champion of female emancipation, failed to see her as worthy of belonging. In measuring "assimilation" in terms of appearance and dress, the French state has created a legal foundation for arbitrarily denying citizenship to all those that fail to satisfy an increasingly narrow conception of French identity while conveniently hiding its incipient problems of xenophobia and immigrant prejudice under convenient symbol of the niqab.
