Presently, hundreds of thousands of Foreign Workers from poor countries, who have lost their jobs and are being harassed by Libyan Rebels are also trying to flee to Europe from Libya instead of trying to go back to their countries.

IMMIGRATION: 800 DEAD IN CHANNEL OF SICILY SINCE JANUARY

(ANSAmed) - ROME, APRIL 13 - More than 28,000 migrants reached Italy in less than three months, but many (approximately 800, but there are no official figures, so the number may even be greater) have been swallowed by the Channel of Sicily.

Hundreds of boats departed mostly from Tunisia, but also from Libya, and some sank with their human cargo.

Some 14 shipwrecks have been reported to date, the latest one today: two women drowned in Pantelleria during a landing.

Since 1988, according to figures gathered by Fortress Europe, almost 16,000 men, women and children died trying to reach Europe by boat. For more than 4,000 of them (4,249) the Channel of Sicily became their grave, while another 186 died sailing from Algeria to Sardinia. More than half of these dead bodies have never been recovered: official statistics mentioned 3,110 missing people.

I have seen the war of independence and what happened and after that and happening now.

My main point is that AL is mainly responsible for the death of Sheik Mujib. They did  whatever they like such as killing, raping and looting like rajakars.36000 (Thirty six thousand innocent people were killed during the period of Sheik Mujib rule.   Sheik Mujib wanted but failed to control them. He was a good man but instead of resigning he established BKSAL which was a blunder. In contrast Zia brought discipline in the country, returned democracy, contrlled prices of essentials and brought professionals in the cabinet. I do not think justice was done by hanging Col Farooq, Rashid et al. before hanging those AL killers and rapists. After Bangabandu Zia tried to bring peace and prosperity in the country and he was successful upto a certain extent but could not complete his mission due to the conspiracy and corruption by rajakars and AL people. They should have hanged before Farooq, Rashid et al. Because those AL people did same like Pakistani army and rajakars soon after independence when the blood of shaids is yet to dry reduced the popularity of Bangabandu to a very low level.
Sheik Mujib was good but could not avoid his sycophants but Hasina is notorious  she is doing whatever she likes using the court. She is releasing murderers and at the same time filing case against innocent people such as against Dr. Yunus, allowing to loot money from share market and making her son worse than Tariq Zia. Her dirty business in the name of our great war of our independence already made many prominent rajakars as prominent freedom fighters and vice versa. In 1986 Hasina has taken about 9 crore taka from Ershad and the case raised agaist her in 2007 was ture.
If AL people would have established rule of law Bangabandu would not have to die in this way. We must demand the trial of real killers (those notorius AL people who distorted the image of Bangabandhu). AL people do not have any respect for our independence like that of Al Badors and rjakars. They never protest against the formation of dam in Farrakha for which Bangladesh is losing thousands of crores taka evry year in terms of paddy and fishes. As if they removed Pakistani army to please some of their Inidian Godfathers. India wanted to divide Pakistan to fufill its selfish end and ruthless murderers of the history of mankind Genral Tikka Khan, Yahiya Khan and Bhutto just helped to fulfill their dreams by killing innocnet Bangladeshi people in thhousands. History will never forgive them. The great and patriot AL people who really care independence of this country and who were really fought to free the country for the poor people have been removed by Hasina regime and are being removed. Only 10 percent of the MPs elected in 1970 election took part in the war of independence. Many AL leaders spent time with amusement in India during the war of independence. Let us not allow AL and Jamat to distort the image of Bangladesh. Let us not produce Tariq Zia or Joy. Let us bring honest people to power. Hasina and Khaleda do not beileve democracy for their own party how they (these two demi God???) bring democracy in the country.What I have written is truth you believe it or not it is upto you

DUSHANBE, Tajikistan - Tajikistan police have forced a topflight player to be banned because he has a beard, according to the coach of his team.
Khayr Vakhdat coach Tokhir Muminov said he has been unable to select Parviz Tursunov for the opening two rounds of the season while there are problems with the police over his appearance.
However, the Interior Ministry denies issuing any order to prevent bearded soccer players from playing and said any officers caught intimidating citizens would be punished.
"While he settles this issue with his beard, his absence is having a negative effect on the team's performance, " Muminov said.
Authorities in the mainly Muslim former Soviet nation have taken strict measures to stamp out any signs of religious extremism, with police reportedly sometimes rounding up bearded young men.
In January, about 30 bearded men were detained by police in one area of the capital, Dushanbe. An Interior Ministry spokesman later claimed police were trying to establish the men's identity as their appearance differed from that in their documents.
Tursunov, a devout Muslim, said he would rather give up soccer than his beard.
 
"Football is secular, but we should think about the eternal," Tursunov said.
Khayr Vakhdat has won both games despite Tursunov's absence after beating last-place Parvoz Bobojon Ghafurov 3-0 on Sunday.
