Mr. Ayubi
So, if you are right, the questionable nature of the so called pardon becomes
more pronounced ! The "rubber stamp parliament" did not ratify it ....the was no
gazette.... so, there is no binding obstracle for the nation that prevents
the trial of the organizers of Al-Bodor death squad and armed razakers
The issue is not those who opposed the independence of Bangladesh politically,
but the trial of those who collaborated with the occupation army in the perpetuation
of genocide and mass rape .....
FYI, in South Africa the reconciliation was done through their
"Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC)" and that was a "due process"
under their constitution.

Aslam sahib,
In those days the sheikh was above the rubberstamp parliament and what he said was the law. So question of any ratification do not aride.
I have not become a Sk. Mujib's fan but surely appreaciate the good qualities in him.

Mr. Salalauddin Ayubi
Outreagous !!!!!!
It seems that now you have turned yourself into a fan of
Sheikh Mujib!!!
Sheikh Mujib had many other priorities in a war ravaged
country ...
In any case, whom did Sheikh Mujib pardoned is also
questionable, ... ...........is there a gazette on this serious
matter ..?
Has the so-called "pardon" been ratified by the parliament ?
Nelson Mandels South Africa didn't see the genocides,
collaboration with an occupation regime and the aiding and
abetting of the wrost mass rape in human history....
You are calling the demand for the trials of the criminals
of 1971 and the organizers of Al-Bodor death squad as
"spread venom of hatred" ...
Bear in mind, there is people's mandate behind the demand
for the trials of criminals of 1971 ... It was one of the points
in their election menifesto... It is the people's verdict that
is prompting the trial in the offing .......
BTW, are you personally affected by the trials of the
Al-Bodor organizers .....

Like a true BAList you are out to spread venom of hatred and dichtom the population of the counry. Do you think that your efforts will do any good to the country or its people. Statesman like Sheikh Mujib realised it early and decided to pardon those who opposed the liberation war. Nelson Mandela a true leader f people and a true staes man pardoned his sworn enemy for the betterment of his country and its people. Then why are we spreading this venom forty years after the nine month long liberation war ended.
