[chottala.com] Memory lane: AL and Khelafat-e-Majlish

Memory lane: AL and Khelafat-e-Majlish

Awami League earned huge flak from in December 2006 after signing a pact with Khelafat-e-Majlish allowing alems to issue fatwa (religious edict) if the AL-led grand alliance was voted to power. Amid mounting condemnation, AL later scrapped the deal.

[chottala.com] Current role of Anjan Da and ETV

Dear Suvas Da,

I politely disagree with you and support Ratan Da's comments and observation.
We have to judge Mr. Anjan's present role along with his past activity and family background.
I agree and recognize - most of the background and Mr. Anjan's past activity and his father's dedication and contribution. I salute his father.
Moreover, one's past role only do not testimony his integrity or competence - his/her immediate past and current role is alo important.
Sorry, I can not give pass mark to Mr. Anjan, though personally he is better than few other and good in presentation (on lyrics not on facts and documents)

But please observe the present role-activity of Mr. Anjan (wrt his EKUSHER RAAT) and ETV's other programme like, JANATAR KOTHA (by Dr. Kanak Sarwar), ETV's News and analysis etc.
Mr. Anjan patronize and promote corrupt (politically and personally), incompetent people in his Talk shows. Like, Mr. Tuku, Dr. Mosaharraf, Dr. Moin Khan, Ms. Moni MP, Ms. Papia MP, Mr. Pias Karim, Mr. Monir Haider, Mr. Sahadat H Selim, Golam Maula Roni MP, Ex Minister Prof. Abu Saeed, Mr. Nurul Kabir etc.

Most of them utters either:
  • Complete untrue data-statement
  • Mix of part truth and false data-statement
  • Irrational and illogical data-statement
I do not want to publicize my own capability and honesty, but I am not less competent (specially on political discussion) and honest - to any of the people's named mentioned above - but ETV or Mr. Anjan never invited me to face any of them! I am still requesting him to invite me and I want to face them logically and rationally based on facts and documents!

On the contrary, Mr. Anjan or ETV do not patronize, invite competent people like, Mr. Abdul Gaffar Choudhury, Dr. Muntasir Mamun, Mrs. Motia Choudhury, Dr. Dipu Moni, Mr. Shariar Kabir, Mr. Swadesh Roy, Mr. Rahat Khan, Mr. Mustafa Jabbar, Mr. Pranab Saha, Mr. Md. Shafiqur Rahman (A promionant senior journalist and now freelance journalist, of Chadpur), Mr. Shajahan (An editor of a weekly and prominent senior journalist and now freelance journalist, of Daukandi), Advocate Rjaul Karim, Engr. Mozammel Babu and very rarely Mr. Arafat and you!

Let Almighty bless Mr. Anjan and ETV.

Engr. Shafiqur  Rahman Anu

[chottala.com] Sheikh Mujib accepted formal apology?

Was that letter approved by National Assembly and signed by the Prime Minister and President of Pakistan?
No. Then, it can not be considered an official apology from all Pakistanis and we know, Pakistani People have no apology for what their Army that they think is Holy had done anything wrong in 1971 even now. They call Sh. Mujib, a Traitor of Islam, Moslims and Pakistan. I guess, you don't know, all Bangladeshis are considered Traitors of Pakistan by Pakis and this is why ISI wants to terrorize them through its Secret Agents.

[chottala.com] Re: Sheikh Mujib accepted formal apology

The Foreign Minister of Bangladesh stated that the Govt of Bangladesh has decided not to proceed with the trials as an act of clemency. It was agreed that the 195 prisoners of war may be repatriated to Pakistan along with the other prisoners of war now in process of repatriation under the Delhi Agreement.

held in Indian custody, then Pakistani foreign minister (concurrently

Pakistan in 1971. That document constituted an integral part of the
tripartite agreement of 9 April 1974. Sheikh Mujib accepted that
