Traitor Nurul Amin : the 8th Prime Minister of Pakistan
(December 6, 1971 to December 20 1971)
Traitor Nurul Amin was appointed Prime Minister of Pakistan by General
Yahia Khan on December 6, 1971. On December 20, 1971, however, Yahya
Khan resigned, leaving the Deputy Prime Minister Zulfiker Ali Bhutto to be
sworn in as the new President. Two days later, Nurul Amin was appointed
as Vice President of Pakistan, the only person to have held this post.
He continued to hold this post until April 21, 1972.
Traitor Nurul Amin is also known as Killer Nurul Amin in the history
of Bangladesh after 21st February 1952. [A street slogan during
later part of Language Movement was "Nurul Aminer Rokto Chai]
