Re: [chottala.com] Who is more guilty? Moin or Khaleda Hasina? Not Mr Moin or CTG Khalida & Hassina are more guilty.

More Guilty Not Mr Moin Or CTG..
Hasina & Khalida are reponsible for coming this army baked CTG to conduct fair & neutral election after making voter list reforming neutral administration & reforming other works..
It is should remembered that Hasina & Khalida were the elected leaders position & opposition party  for last 15 years. They were the people representative elected leaders party chief  prime ministers & opposition leaders for the people of the people by the people for making rules of administration & to rule the country honestly.
Mr Moin is the public servant under their command of prime minister.  Mr Moin's duty was carry out order according to the service rules which rules are made by the political leaders.
But our dear great political leaders have been creating such type of nonsense situation in the country by doing nonsense activities so that public servent  is bound to come forward to save the people & to back the non experienced CTG for conducting fair & neutral election after doing reforming works &  to rule the country until election held though they are not politically & administratically experienced & expart  skilled persons.
So
Not Mr Moin
but
Khalida & Hassina are more guilty.

[chottala.com] Pakistan : Death of a Nation by Akbar Hussain

Pakistan : Death of a Nation by Akbar Hussain

If it is true that the founder of Pakistan have said' Pakistan was his greatest blunder' he would have been vindicated now. What we are watching now is the gradual disintegration of a sovereign state at the hands of the religious extremists, the same sovereign state created in the name of religion. A nation for which an aroma of religious fervour was so zealously created and maintained by so many religious zealots for the last sixty years. The end result is chaos, mistrust and bloody conflict. Many apologists who still foolishly claims that it was a right decision at that time now scratches their heads was it a wrong decision at a worst time?  Mr. Muhammad Ali Jinnah saw this beginning of the end during his life time when his secular vision of an Islamic nation was hijacked by those people who helped him to create this new nation. He was alone against Rome . From the very onset the so called ideology of Islam was a failed cry for Pakistan . The Holy Spirit of Islam failed to unify the various regions of Pakistan in the name of religion. Sind , Balochistan and the NWFP remained unconvinced and the lofty dream of a Pure Land remained unfulfilled. It did not take much time for Mr.Jinnah to realise that he has committed a blunder and the shock and awe of the situation took his life just  one year after the Partition of India. Since than Pakistan was just limping and in that progressively weakening situation the Frankenstein of Islamic fundamentalism took birth and now it has reached its adulthood. The birth of Pakistan was in the name of religion but the hidden agenda was the parochial interest of the Muslim landed Junkers who saw a danger to their vested interests in a free united India .

The bloody and treacherous history of Pakistan is basically a history of struggle against its own people. The rejection of religion as a basis for national integrity and unity never understood by the successive regimes whose only answer was brute force. We saw it in the then East Pakistan , in Sind , in Balochistan and in the NWFP. Even two years before Gen.Musharraf threatened the Balochi people that 'it was not 1970' when Pakistan played havoc in East Pakistan . The failure of Pakistan as a nation has taught us again that religion can never be a basis for a state. Nations are made out of a concord between the people on the basis of historical realities. But unfortunately still we have people among us who subscribe to the evil idea of a state on the basis of religion. They still viciously try to promote the idea of religious laws to run the affairs of the state. We must guard against those followers of the Islamic Frankenstein who are out to dismember and dismantle everything the mankind has achieved so fare.

[chottala.com] Palestinian radical founder George Habash dies

Palestinian radical founder dies
George Habash
George Habash supported violence against Israel

The founder of the radical Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), George Habash, has died in Jordan, associates say.

Habash died of a heart attack, one of his former colleagues said. He was around 80 years old.

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has called three days of national mourning.

Under Habash's leadership the PFLP became known as one of the most radical Palestinian militant groups, notorious for plane hijackings.

In September 1970 it captured four airliners, later blowing them up in front of the world's cameras, once the passengers had been removed.

The group also fired at Israeli aircraft and their crew, carried out bombings, and took hostages including, on one occasion, Opec leaders meeting in Vienna.

'Historic leader'

George Habash was born in Lydda, in British-ruled Palestine - which is now Lod in Israel - and was forced to flee when war broke out in 1948.

He was a Christian, and became a medical student, who espoused the cause of secular Arab nationalism.

PFLP ATTACKS
1968 Hijacks Israeli plane in first major operation
1970 Hijacks four Western airliners; blows them up after passengers removed
1970 Swissair flight SR330 bombed in mid-flight; 47 dead
1972 Japanese leftists carry out massacre at Lod Airport, Tel Aviv, for PFLP; 26 dead
1975 Carlos the Jackal leads PFLP hijacking of Opec meeting in Vienna; hostages flown round Middle East
1976 Air France flight from Tel Aviv hijacked and diverted to Entebbe, Uganda; Israeli paratroopers mount raid, freeing most hostages
2001 Israeli Minister for Tourism Rehavam Zeevi assassinated

He was a founding member, in 1951, of the Arab Nationalist Movement, which later merged with other groups to become the PFLP.

The group designated itself a Marxist-Leninist movement and became the second largest partner in the Palestinian Liberation Organisation.

It carried out more and more audacious attacks in the 1960s, throwing the Palestinian issue into the international spotlight.

It opposed Arab-Israeli peace negotiations and any talk of a two-state solution - Habash often criticised PLO leader Yasser Arafat for negotiating with Israel.

Throughout his life Habash supported the use of violence against Israel.

One of the most deadly PFLP attacks was the gunning down of 27 people at Israel's Lod airport in May 1972.

Forty-seven people were killed when a Swissair jet was bombed in 1970.

Israel tried for years to capture Habash, even intercepting a commercial airliner in 1973 and forcing it to land, mistakenly believing he was on board.

Habash stepped down as leader of the PFLP in 2000, by which time the group had been marginalised by the growing power of Islamist movements like Hamas.

Mr Abbas called Habash a "historic leader" and ordered Palestinian flags to fly at half-mast.

The current deputy secretary-general of the PFLP, Abdel Raheem Mallouh, called Habash a "distinguished leader... who struggled for more than 60 years without a stop for the rights and the interests of his people".

He was married, with two daughters.

His wife, Hilda, said: "We will all carry the banner of Habash and the Arab nation he dearly cherished. Habash always believed Palestine would be liberated."

"He lived for his people and died for his people," she told Reuters.

[chottala.com] A closer look at the perceived successes of ACC - is it a success yet? We don't

A closer look at the perceived successes of ACC - is it a success yet? We don't think so.
Whenever one talks about successes of the current interim government, the name ACC come. But if you were to given a chance to criticize this vital organization, what would say? What are the weaknesses, if any?

The biggest challenge of ACC to challenge the ruling government, sometimes. Let us clarify this statement in details.

The art of governing is often compared to art of how well one can accomodate the power brokers of the system. No matter what kind of government is there in power, political or non-political, honest or corrupt, based on the experience and character strength of the members of the government, they make differing level of compromises with different power brokers. The main challenge of ACC should be to make sure that while making those accomodations, there is no systematic problem. Identifying and fighting that systematic problem is the biggest challenge of the ACC. That would mean to fight with the government power. Sometimes that may bring embarrasment to the government - you should not fear that. Even if it is a interim government, presumably all good people, ACC is still entitle to embarrass this government. In fact, we would argue that your success as an institution would be counted on how many times you have managed to embarrass the government. Off course, your job is a bit subtle. The opposition always try to embarrass the government - they do it in order to weaken the government. But you would embarrass the government in order to strengthen it. So, you have to be very careful in choosing cases in which to embarrass the government. According to our scorecard, your score is still ZERO for last one year.

One may ask, while giving the current ACC a big zero score, can we suggest something that ACC has missed so far? Here is one.

So far, government has make one big compromise that is faulty. They probably do not see it. Or may be they don't feel that they are strong enough not to do that compromise. We do not blame them. Given the people in the government, it is quiet expected. They have made a compromise with the bureacracy. It is hard to fathom that "when 50 ministers are arrested, none of the secretaries of those ministries are yet to be arrested". Can you explain this? Its an anti-corruption drive that is skewed to favour the bureacrats. In our view, it is the job of the ACC, to correct this problem in the current government. If you do, it will be helpful for the government in the long run, even if they dont like it. It will also be helpful for you too. If some institutional process don't check the free reign of the original culprits, who have learned to stay low profile throughout career, people will at some point be frustrated and go into street again. So, its better for you do the job of people, steadily, so that we the people, can focus on our work, studies or whatever productive we are doing. Bottomline, you have to be seen as fighting the government. If you don't think so, you have a big a problem. Try to go beyond your lessons during military career. If you can't recreate your image and if you can not change the perception and instead you are seen as a fighter, you would also be shown the door. Before that day comes, you are smart enough to know what to do. But we want you to try to change the image. You have got few things right so far. You can achieve the rest of it, too, we believe.

Bottomline for ACC Chairman and his colleagues is this:

Govt. is bound to make some policy compromise. While they do those, there will be systematic problems. It is politics in its worst state, but it has been even worse before, now getting better. However, you should target the systematic problem in governments policy. In our view, you should target few of the 50 secretaries, even if that means small embarrassment for the government. This small embarrasment now, if you can make that happen, will save many big embarrasment for the government and for you.

If you thought some of the ideas are worth of your reading time, please forward it to others. If you have an ear to the columinsts in regular traditional media, please forward it to them. If you have an ear to the journalists and news editors of the electronic media, discuss it with them. Hope they would look at the suggestions and give due diligence.

Thanks for your time,

[chottala.com] Re: [notun_bangladesh] Re:Is Bangladesh a Failed State? The Failed States Index 2007 : The Ran

Dear AR

I agree with you. For this such ludicrous position of our beloved nation it is the great politicians are totally responsible. But interesting is that they (politicians) do not have any repentence for such sorry condition rather they get a sadistics pleasure while our nation is awarded the "The most Corrupted Nation" or "Failed State"  laurels.

You are correct that all patriotic people should unite to endeavour to salvage our poor motherland from such tainted situation. None should take the opportunity to flash the news with joy or blame some other quarter for such failure. Let us unite with one agenda " it is my Bangladesh and I love my Bangladesh, oh my Bangladesh" .

Such rankings are a shame to all Bangladeshis. We may not like it, but facts support the ranking.

And now the million dollar question: what are we gonna do about it? Should we go about our business as usual, blame it on our rivals and demand their annihilation? Or should we join hands to pull Bangladesh out of this ranking?

What will it take to bring some sense to our leaders?

RE: [chottala.com] Professor M. Anwar Hossain - A bright star in our sky !

miss/ mrs dina khan..

amazing !! you are amazing....

thanks for the clear thought..

seating at hongkong,,while working with indians and all other nationalist of the world... every single moment i have to prove that we bangladeshis are not with a standard below them .....

only for the teaching style/ the environment of our institutes we are not brought up with enough smartness to stand in front of the outside world... if someone trying his best to prove the nation, other can not and consequently pulls us back wards..

we definitely have to change the nation, we just have to love and respect each other...

at least four things should provided with the students in teaching institution -

1. building up confidence that we are the best. ""

2. respecting  others and tricks to earn respect in the same way.(for this, the tradition has to be broken that only students will respect the teacher, the teachers also have to respect the students)

(most of the case, for this we have the quality to say " huzur huzur" and people take chance.

3. fast learning quality.

4. growing  smartness..

at least this are the few things i maintained while i was a teacher...

thanks..

Subject: Re: [chottala.com] Professor M. Anwar Hossain - A bright star in our sky !

After reading the statement delivered at the court by The Learned PhD Teacher Mr. Anwar Hossain of Dhaka University it seems that the administration of Dhaka University is totally inactive.
It is also proved by his statement that there is no good academic atmosphere in the University.
Where there is no good active disciplined administration & from where the people are getting degree certificates after coming in abroad their certificates are not honored by the University in abroad & they are treated as below standard academic qualified persons in comparison with the qualified persons from the university in abroad.
The people graduated from the University of Bangladesh after coming in abroad are doing odd jobs such as taxi driving hotel boy city council cleaning works until & unless they get proper & standard academic education from the education centre in abroad. The learned PhD Teachers of the University in Bangladesh should be shameful for providing less quality teaching education to the students.
After getting nonsense & quality less education from the University of Bangladesh they are doing their  jobs efficiently nonsense or moral less in Bangladesh works of looting public money as service holders & as public representative works of  car breaking burning public property trouble making mill industry business centre closing disaster creating as people's dear politicians..
As a result money of Bangladesh is devaluing which is creating money inflation & is increasing price hiking of every thing.
How can the learned teachers of Dhaka University claim that they are very good teachers & Dhaka University is the top most education centre & the heart of the country??
Are not the very learned Teachers in Dhaka University very inefficient in doing good teaching jobs & providing less quality educated persons??
Have not made the University Campus a quarrelling centre by creating nonsense education less & bad atmosphere these shameless & quality less teachers in doing nonsense quality less politics at the banner of lal nil subuj sada????
How can they claim that they are providing correct update education to the students in due time taking regular classes giving quality educated lessons to the students????
After getting education providing by the less quality educated University Teachers no body can make a single car in the country or can not do any repairing works.
How shameless the matter is that the teachers have inspired the students to break the cars which are being imported from India or Japan??
Are the University Teachers of Dhaka University taking Commission from the Car making Company of India or Japan?
So that after broken the cars new cars can be imported from Japan or India.

The moral duty of the teachers are providing correct update quality education to the students
1)       To create honest efficient teachers for providing quality education to the students &
2)    To create honest wise political leaders to lead the country.
3)       To create honest creative law makers for making rules & laws
4)       To create foresighted wise skilled planers for planning.
5)       To create good efficient administrators to rule the administration
6)       To create perfect executors to execute the plan
7)    To create creative builders to build the country for saving people.
For not creating by doing nonsense politics in using the power of 1973 for
      1)    Not creating of suffering the students in season jots
2)    Not taking regularly classes & examination in time
3)      Not taking examination in due time & not giving result in time
4)   Not honoring by the University in abroad the certificates of the students who are getting degree/graduation of Bangladesh University.
5)  Not treating as below standard educated persons in comparison with foreign University Graduates

Country now needs very strong Administrator for doing reformation works in education section for creating learned creative persons
1)       To create dedicated minded honest efficient quality teachers for providing quality education to the students to make them quality educated people for doing works lawfully as politicians as army as police & as judicial persons.
2)       To create honest creative law makers for making rules & laws
3)       To create foresighted wise skilled planers for planning.
4)       To create good efficient administrators to rule administration
5)       To create perfect executors & builders to execute the plan & to build the country for saving the people.

An enquire & tribunal board is most essentially required to form for investigating to do trial against all persons/teachers in all University & Education Section
1)       Why are suffering the students in season jots?
2)       Why are not taken regular classes?
3)       Why are not taken examination in due time & not given result in time?
4)       Why are not honored by the University in abroad the certificates of the students who are getting after obtained degree/graduated of Bangladesh University
5)        Why are treated they as below standard educated persons in comparison with foreign University Graduates??
After doing trial of all irresponsible & convicted teachers must be turned out from the teaching section from all educational institutions & bad education system which does not create good active creative responsible persons must be banned.
The creative active honest learned teachers must be inspired for doing education researches to create update education resources & they should be awarded.
New honest active learned teachers must be appointed & provided them inspired them to be learned wise foresighted teachers.
Nation wide quality education system must be introduced for providing to nation wide all people quality education for creating quality people & for making them skilled creative in their respective working fields such as politicians should be quality politicians. Doctor must be quality doctors. Engineers should be engineers. The Teachers must have update knowledge teaching quality.
The teachers should try to know & should try to understand what faults they have done.
They need to try to understand that in past last 37 years in Bangladesh education section could not be able to provide correct update teaching lessons to the students in time to make them good leaders good politician good law makers & good administrators to lead the country.
Now some University Teachers are convicted & acquitted as like as criminal persons. Being University Teachers they are doing movement works without showing respect to the lawful court verdict as like as labor leaders. They have no wise knowledge have no lawful good idea to face the problems lawfully.
It is a very shameful matter to the whole nation.
They do not understand what crime they have done by not taking regular classes by not providing to the students update correct education lessons by not taking examinations in time & by not giving result in due time & they have created season jots, they have given them trouble by killing the money misusing the energy & valuable time of the poor parent hopes & of the poor students who have admitted in the university for getting education.
For establishing Justice of law & for establishing Lawful Administration for establishing Humanity & Human Right it is the most essential duty of the Judicial Department to take legal action according to the complain submitted by any citizen of the country to the court for seeking lawful verdict against any person whatever he/she may be (whether big leader or university teacher).
They are the student's life time killer money killer of the poor students & their parents.
They do not try to understand what' their faults & they do not try to rectify their faults as wise teachers.
The teachers are the paid service holders for doing the teaching works to make the students as competent citizens by providing them update correct education. They are getting salary for the teaching works.
So it is very essential duty for the nation to look whether the teachers are doing their duty teaching WORKS correctly & honestly by taking the classes in time by giving the students correct update knowledge lessons & by taking the examination in time & by giving the result in due time
OR
they are doing party politics not taking classes not taking examination not giving result in due time  & only  they are doing free thought exercises thinking themselves free thought valued persons like as Royal Bengal Tigers.
For establishing fair & neutral Govt Administrations, for establishing fair & neutral Judicial Department it needs to appoint the people who are not doing party politics in their student life & not doing politics before joining in the service to Govt Administrations or Judicial Department.
So the rules & laws should be made for the students that the students who want to do party politics in their student life they may do party politics but they will not get job in any Govt Administration or Judicial Department after finishing their study.
