[chottala.com] "Eye Care and Eye Releif" - Please join a benefit banquet by BDESH Foundation on 5/2//15

AsSalamu Alikum Respected Brothers & Sisters,

We hope that you and your family are at the best of faith, health, and happiness. We are kindly requesting you to join us in a noble mission to restore eyesight to many of our blind brothers and sisters in Bangladesh. Cataract - clouding of the lens inside the eye - is the most common cause of blindness worldwide. It is most commonly due to aging but has many other causes. Those with cataracts not only lose the eyesight but also lose the ability to work or travel. With loss of income, they can no longer support their family, instead become dependent on others. The safety, security, and well being of all dependent children and family are lost with blindness.

Cataract patients can be successfully treated with surgery and it only cost $75 in Bangladesh. But many are too poor to afford the surgery to regain their eyesight and often get stuck in a life of severe poverty. That's why they need your help. You can help restore their vision, ability to make a living, support a family, regain their safety, security, and dignity.

Please join BDesh Foundation for a fundraising dinner on Saturday, May 2nd 2015 at 6 pm at Muslim Community Center (MCC) located at 15200 New Hampshire Avenue, Silver Spring, MD 20905. Insha'Allah we want to raise enough money to provide eye care to 5000 people including performing 500 cataract surgeries in one year. Insha'Allah we also want to establish a mobile eye hospital that will cost at least $125,000 so that we can provide eye care and cataract surgery all over Bangladesh.

Your donations will make a real difference into the lives of real people. The picture on the attached flyer is of Brother Abdul Hakim who regained his eyesight through a cataract surgery organized by BDesh Foundation. He is now living a productive life and very happy that he can read the Quran again.

If you cannot come to the fundraising dinner, please consider to make generous tax exempt donations to BDesh Foundation online. Cataract surgery is relatively a small surgery and costs only $75 per person in Bangladesh today.
or mail your check payable to BDesh Foundation at 6 Silo Mill Court, Sterling, VA 20164.

BDesh Foundation is an IRS approved 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to poverty alleviation, health, sanitation and educational projects both in the US and Bangladesh. We have no political affiliation. We are a volunteer based organization and your entire donation goes to the people you want to help. Currently there are number of projects successfully going forward. For more information, please visit us at www.BDeshFoundation.org

We are also kindly requesting you to share this email among your friends and families. Insha'Allah your charity and contribution will be Sadaqah Jariyah (continuous charity).

May Allah continue to bless you and your family.
