Re: [chottala.com] David C. King's Resume

Dear Sultan..How are u and your family doing? While Dr. King's accomplishments are admirable, if I were to hire a consultant, I would have looked for someone with much more experience than Dr. King. Well, if the Gen is looking for anyone from Harvard, then it is not a problem...I am sure, the General will not be paying this consultant from his own pocket...

Fwd: [chottala.com] David C. King's Resume

Thanks, Jamir Chowdhury, for forwarding David King's resume.  His resume is indicative of high credibility in his field of expertise, i.e. government and politics, and public policy arena, and an authority attained through university teaching positions, authorship of books, and writings in professional literatures.
However, in some of the prior messages, I had noticed a tendency to belittle David King.  I'd hope that the Bangladeshis will abondon the idea to minimizing people just because they don't like somone's speech, writings or actions of inviting someone to speak.  Let's keep our minds and hearts open to listening varied opinions in as many forums as possible, so we can make informed decisions.  I am especially appalled that the BDeshis trained and living in the west were making statements trying to make "petty" of David King's invitation to Gen.
