[chottala.com] LAL MOHAN MOHASTOBIR & HIS FATHER issue

It seems their were issues between LAL MOHAN MOHASTOBIR and his BURMESE wife..and DINESH CHANDRA..DINESH CHANDRA had stress over death of his son in Burma ..name SADHAN..the oldest son..this investigation of him was triggered by Dhiman Dr, thru Prince Charles as it was British India..Now Lal Mohan Mohastobir also was under stress over some of the health issue of his son that is Dinesh Chandra..he assessed the blame of on some of the cooking of His Burmese wife and hint is she borrowed money and etc to buy things  from guess whom Shelu dantys mother father Mohim  Babu an ally of Brandies..like Sudhangshu shekhar Halder..was also too..not only him, it was also the other brother of Satish Chandra..that is KOMOL CHANDRA..he was the one known as MORMON tied individual..they kind of played with her and pit her against her husband..that is LAL MOHAN MOHASTOBIR..he supposedly used to get irritated..

Now this becomes other issue..LAL MOHAN MOHASTOBIR.'s Burmese wife..supposedly countered hinting he was gay and so was his father..that brings up other issue who was LAL MOHAN MOHASTOBIR's..as it seems it was some one JAIN..I have to say it was no one but MAHAVIR himself the founder of JAIN RELIGION...there is much dispute between the similarities and dissimilarities of..between JAINIAM & BUDDHISM  only things is JAINISM is the only other religion similar to Buddhism...though their are fundamental differences..then their is issue of being well lets put it this way JAIN priest used to be NAKED to very little clothe if any..to did not wear sandles walked bare foot..as I understand root of no clothes on the priest where from ..may be..they also had persecutors and trouble makers..and that was got robbed of clothing..well you rob me once rob me twice..well may be I wear nothing lets see what can you rob..about the no shoe no sandle supposedly they were so concerned of harming another that they feared with shoe or sandle they may step on..an insect or so..and kill the insect..thus the Buddhas Middle Path and the version of JAINISM..in Buddhist text MAHAVIR is also known as NAGITTAHPUTAM..
Now their where debates and discussion between Buddha & MAHAVIR..the  more I look at it..like the Moslem..revere Prophet MOSES..JESUS & MOHAMMAD  to some extent based on some Buddhist text known to me..MAHAVIR is also referenced..the thing is Buddha Dharma believes in BODHISATTA's..thus MAHAVIR was one of them too..

One of the KEY individual in this mess is the Burmese mother of Dinesh Chandra Barua. The Post Master. Her name was UNNAMEY. I have been stating that she played a role in passing what is known as THEORY OF RELATIVITY to EINESTINE though it was of GUNALANKAR.., GUNALANKAR was dictating to LAL MOHAN MOHSATOBIR to his son DINESH CHANDRA..it seems money played a role in DINESH CHANDRA , UNNAMEY & INDUBHUSHAN to pass on the information to..EINESTINE..Dinesh Chandra was payed about Million Dollar to do so back then..and what is claimed with 50/50 split with British Forrester..as I understand that money went to pay for the LAND..following which DINESH CHANDRA was basically killed and as I understand DINESH CHADRA's mother is litigating the death of her son issue..as she went to visit Burma before her son death..Hint is THAILAND is aiding Dinesh Chandras mother in that death of her son..

It is more interesting who LAL MOHAN MOHASTOBIR is..he is actually..no one else the King of the PHARAO...HERODAUTUS,,whose son dies during the days of Moses when he was about to ascend to power...it seems use of TURMERIC date the days of PHARAO..

According to Buddhism..one is responsible for his own action. When we are dealing in this specific report.Buddhist are not monolithic .followers of Buddha, as we know their as of now more then one major segment of Buddhism yes some Buddhist are among the midst of this mess..it has to do with many reason. For instance BURMA & THAILAND are both more or less very devout Buddhist Country..the truth is this two countries have seen some of the worst war fare between them....thus as I believe if you separate the anti moslem rhetoric, of some of these Buddhist and Monks..remind you even Buddhist Monk though they are not supposed to get angry..some time human nature shows up..and these episodes are in the same nature..to be honest among the attackers of Rohingya Moslems are Moslems too..thus it is not totally ethnic cleansing..as with the Buddhist are Moslems and many of that side  to be candid it is the same Bangdesh Razakar allies they even have hindus in it..alliance..the major segment is that of Chittagong Notable Personality and big ego driven politician from his ancestral  history of Bangladesh Polictics that is son of FOKA CHY, Salauddin Kader Chy..he is among the pursuer of these Rohingya Moslem. Not only him Sohel Samad is among the pursuers,  I am in Houston, Texas...more then one reason why..some of these happened..thus it is not fair to characterize it as totally anti moslem..though most of the victims are Moslems..

Why some of these I have written before..one of the most violent out break of these butchering was..goes like this..Romney has another women in life..that is his wife..when he was basically a truck driver in Bangladesh..He is the truck driver..that was killed over Hem Sen Lane in Chittagong..during Zia era..thus their is issue of his unsettled estate..to which is claimant is his wife..who is she..they where claiming she was actually one of the illegitimate  daughters of my mothers father Dinesh Chandra Barua who death is still and issue..and they think she is the most cleaner one of the child of Dinesh Chadra to get the family fortune..in an actual if you do DNA test you will find  close family link..but no cigar..that is..sh is actually Shajahan Siraj 's daughter..

Now Romney the driver was also a very close confidant of Salauddin Kader...many issue...well he is the truck driver that drove the Truck that carried the killer who killed among many..of KALIM SHARIFFI too..well it is that  Chittagong lane known as HORISH DUTTA LANE..that starts from one corner of Chittagong DC Pahar and exits by RIFLE CLUB..next to this HOTEL..sounds familiar..one thing is Romney was know to us not to the extent who he was, the thing is we have driven cars driven by him..because he was driver that drove my fathers and me one one ocation we knew him...thru custom's connection also a class friend of mine from St Placids day to Faujdarhat Cadet College..and they used to..that is my class mate AKHTER..we did borrow his fathers car few time with that was their driver the one that was killed over hemsen lane..more on it..cliff hanger

THE ABUSE OF BUDDHISM REVEALED BY THE TIME MAGAZINE REBOUNDS
Abid Bahar
Buddhism, an essentially nonviolent religion has been abused by the Burmese military for decades to cover up its decades long crimes, this time through a Buddhist extremist monk has now been brought to light by the Western media. Research shows, monk Wirathu is the product of the Burmese military. He was inspired by a military agent who invented the 969 NAZI symbol. Buddhism of hypocrisy by Wirathu is to justify how "kind the Burmese Buddhists" are while in reality they are actively killing the non Buddhists. He is simply "a convenient villain for a complicated Burmese story." Unfortunately, the not so educated Burmese people swallows these very old fashioned snake oil now sold through the the extremist monk Writhu. This however is not acceptable to the Time establishment because it is unethical and dangerous for the humanity of our time.
Congratulations to this great Time's Reporter for a good job in amplifying the hate crimes committed by criminals wearing sacred robes. Unfortunately, those opposing the TIME are not the educated Burmese people and don't have any clue about what necessitated the TIME to prepare this report. Hannah Beech is absolutely right to reveal the criminal intent of the extremist and unemployed monks. They possess a type of medieval mentality. With this revelation, these true skin head racists can now run but can't hide anymore from the international focus.
From TIME's bold portrayal of the fake Buddhist monk Wirathu, (despite some protests from Buddhist extremists) his place is now rests with the disgraced racist killers in Europe, Africa and South East Asia. From now onward, him and people like him can try to disguise in cloth dyed in human blood and can even pretend like good guys in Burma but with TIME's help we can now read and identify the true color of their belief. No doubt, it is the abuse of Buddhism-TIME magazine called "THE FACE OF BUDDHIST TERROR!!! !"

[chottala.com] American war machine should be dismantled.

Comment by shaikh.mohommad@mail.com   US foreign policy has become the instrument of creating havoc in the world.  It supports tyrants and dictators.  It engages in war.  Never has US army been in the barracks.  It has always been attacking other countries.  Vietnam,  Middle East, Afghanistan and who knows next will be IRAN.  Will the EU countries raise the issue of American imperialism?

The unreported war in the Congo killing millions with the aid of the United States                                                                                                                                              05 July 2013  Kambale Musavuli   Africa                                                                                                    So how do you get away with arming a rebel force that attacks UN peacekeepers, rapes women and recruits children? You need powerful friends.

http://stopwar.org.uk/index.php/africa/2569-the-unreported-war-in-the-congo-killing-millions-with-the-aid-of-the-united-states

Imagine that millions have been killed and continue to die, hundreds of thousands of women have been systematically raped and are still being brutalized, corporate plundering reigns, the 2nd largest rainforest in the world, being destroyed and mass crimes have been committed and remain widespread - yet the world has been deadly silent. This is modern-day Congo.

President Barack Obama concluded his trip to Africa on Tuesday, July 2, 2013. After visiting Senegal and South Africa, President Obama's last stop on his African tour was in Tanzania where he visited President Jakaya Kikwete. Both President Obama and Kikwete have made auspicious statements regarding the crisis in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC).

Last week, President Kikwete called on both Rwanda and Uganda to enter into dialogue with their respective rebel militia who are present in the Congo instead of continuously utilizing rebel presence as a rationale for repeated interventions in the Congo.                                                                    On Monday, July 1, 2013 during his state visit to Tanzania, responding to a question from a Congolese journalist, President Obama said "The countries surrounding the Congo, they've got to make a commitment to stop funding armed groups that are encroaching on the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Congo."

President Obama's response is fascinating in two respects. First, in spite, of sixteen years of intervention in the DRC by US allies Rwanda and Uganda, which has triggered the deaths of millions of Congolese, President Obama still did not mention either country by name; he merely uttered the phrase "Congo's neighbors." Secondly, while the US has repeatedly acknowledged that its allies, Rwanda and Uganda are funding armed groups in the Congo, it continues to arm, train, finance and provide diplomatic and political cover for both countries.

Philippe Bolopion of Human Rights Watch says it best when he observed in a New York Times commentary: "So how do you get away with arming a rebel force that attacks UN peacekeepers, rapes women and recruits children? You need powerful friends, and Rwanda has had one. Born from the guilt of the Clinton administration's inaction in the face of the Rwandan genocide, and a recognition of Rwanda's relatively efficient use of development aid, the United States has proven to be one of Kigali's staunchest allies."

It would stand to reason that as the US calls on its allies to cease funding of armed groups in the Congo, the US itself would cease funding of Rwanda and Uganda as long as they continue fueling the conflict in the DRC. In fact, US law calls on the Obama Administration to do as much.  Section 105 of Public Law 109-456, the law that President Obama sponsored as senator and co-sponsored by Hillary Clinton and John Kerry, authorizes the Secretary of State to withhold aid from Congo's neighbors, should they destabilize the country. The Obama Administration has yet to fully implement this law.

Pressure has been mounting around Rwanda and Uganda's support of militia gangs in the Congo. In light of the two UN Group of experts reports published in 2012, the United States government has said that "there is a credible body of evidence that corroborates key findings of the Group of Experts' reports - including evidence of significant military and logistical support, as well as operational and political guidance, from the Rwandan government to the M23." The administration response to the report has been a suspension of $200,000 of Foreign Military Financing provided to a Rwandan military academy and a phone call from President Barack Obama to Paul Kagame to discuss Rwanda's role in the destabilization of the Congo. Unfortunately, these small steps have not been enough to stop Congo's neighbors from intervening in the Congo, nor are they commensurate with the level of suffering the people of the Congo face daily due to the brutal killings perpetrated by militia gangs.

One of the key changes needed in US policy in the Great Lakes Region of Africa is to cease its support of US allies who are fueling conflict in the DRC. As he did in his 2009 trip to Ghana, President Obama repeated again during his Cape Town speech that "we are interested in investing not in strongmen but in strong institutions." However, the US government's continued support of strongmen in Rwanda, Uganda and DRC, stands in stark contrast to President Obama's declaration in Cape Town.

A second key change required in US policy is for the US to in fact support strong institutions and democracy both in the Congo and the region.  The lack of democracy and democratic institutions and the militarization of the political space in the region have been a major driver of the instability in the DRC, Uganda and Rwanda. These structural changes in US Foreign Policy are vital steps needed to advancing peace and stability in the Congo and the Great Lakes region of Africa.

Despite the millions of Congolese who have perished in the past 16 years in what the United Nations says is the deadliest conflict in the world since World War II, the response from the United States in particular and other global leaders has been lackluster at best in the face of what is arguably the greatest human tragedy at the dawn of the 21st century. The recently initiated "Peace, Security and Cooperation Framework for the Democratic Republic of the Congo and the Region," is one such example; as it fails to hold Rwanda and Uganda accountable, lacks a serious justice component, did not include the Congolese people in its development and mistakenly argues that legitimizing Rwanda and Uganda's looting of the Congo under the guise of trade and economic integration will bring stability.

The degree to which action has been taken, to hold aggressor countries like Rwanda and Uganda accountable has been a result of global pressure on world leaders by ordinary people.  We have repeatedly seen the constructive role that global pressure can play in advancing peace in the Congo. Recently, the UN Group of Experts on the DRC leaked a report documenting reduced support for Rwandan and Ugandan militias in the Congo. This is a clear sign that the pressure on the US and its allies Rwanda and Uganda needs to be sustained and stepped-up.

Join the global movement in support of the Congo...Kambale Musavuli is Spokesperson for Friends of Congo  http://friendsofthecongo.org/take-action/join-the-movement.html

[chottala.com] Determining Ramadan, Eids, Hajj Etc.: Moon Sighting or Astronomical Calculation

Moon Sighting or Astronomical Calculation
Dr. Louay Safi

This article is a condensed summary of a scholarly paper entitled "Reading, Sighting, and Calculating – From Moon Sighting to Astronomical Calculation." Please click here to view the full paper]

The Fiqh Council of North America's ruling in favor of using astronomical calculations for determining the beginning of the Muslim lunar month provoked a strong response, and the American Muslim community continues to be divided over this issue. Scholars on the two sides of the divide present arguments rooted in Islamic traditions, and often support their views by citing the same Qur'anic and Prophetic sources, or by referring to statements by early Muslim scholars.

It does not take much for an observer to realize that the division and disagreements are not about the sources themselves, but about how the sources are read. The division is between scholars who place emphasis on the apparent meaning of the text and those who emphasize its intended meaning and purpose.

The arguments for relying on sighting the new crescent as a means to determining the Islamic calendar confound religious duties with the empirical knowledge and practical skills required to identify the days on which these religious duties commence. Observing Ramadan and performing Hajj is ibadah (religious duty), but observing the new crescent after birth to determine the beginning of the lunar month is not. The latter relate to the human capacity for determining the birth of the new crescent, and it is a function of the observer's physical capacity to identify the new crescent. This capacity varies, needless to say, with the knowledge of the position of the new crescent in the sky, the sharpness of the eye-sight of the observer, the access to refined tools, the climatic conditions, etc.

Although some Muslims tried to root the practice of moon sighting, particularly for the month of Ramadan, in the Qur'anic and Prophetic injunctions, a closer examination of the Qur'an shows that it regards fasting of Ramadan and performing of Hajj as religious obligations, but considers the sun and moon movements as part of the natural order.

The Prophet, indeed, directed the companions to establishing the first day of Ramadan by sighting the moon, but then he stated that the reason for his directive was the inability of early Muslim community to provide accurate calculation. The community, he pointed out, was then illiterate and did not master reading, writing, or calculation. They had no experienced astronomers who have access to the knowledge, tools, and facilities to determine with accuracy the beginning of the lunar month. Consequently, Moon sighting was the only tool available for the early Muslim community.

If the distinction between these two areas of knowledge is confirmed, then the only reason for moon sighting to be favored over astronomical calculation is when the former is more accurate in determining the birth of the new crescent than the latter.

Early Muslim scholars agreed, by and large, on Moon sighting as the only acceptable way for determining the beginning of the new lunar month. However, their consensus was greatly influenced by the state of the science of astronomy, as well as the lack of direct access by the scattered Muslim villages and towns to reliable astronomers.

The consensus reached by early Muslim jurists on rejecting astronomical methods resulted from the lack of any clear line of demarcation between astronomy and astrology. Most early Muslim scholars equated astronomy with magic and fortunetelling.

The basis of the historical consensus on moon sighting has changed. Today, astronomers can calculate with great precision the date and time of birth of the new moon. Moon sighting, on the other hand, has become less reliable, as the conditions of the sky and the observers have deteriorated markedly over the last two centuries. Muslims do not only live in middle latitude regions of mostly clear sky—as was the case in the early years of Islam—but also in high latitude regions where the moon can rarely be sighted, and in areas of high humidity and frequent rain. The sky conditions have worsened in most inhabited regions.

Observation of the new moon is quite disturbing in countries where Muslims do not employ the service of qualified observers using advance tools and facilities. Communities in the United States, for instance, rely on claims by ordinary Muslims with limited experience and astronomical knowledge. Even in Muslim countries where fairly advanced facilities are available, religious authorities accept the sighting of laymen with little or no training.

It must be asserted, therefore, that astronomical calculations provide a higher degree of certainty than an actual Moon sighting. For while astronomical calculation provide a precise date and time of the birth of the new moon, sighting the Moon produces, even with the use of advanced telescopes, less accurate and reliable results.

Yet the actual choice is not one in which we are asked to choose between astronomical calculation and moon sighting. The choice is really between calculations and individual testimonies. For several centuries, the Hanafi school of fiqh required that every qualified person must go to open fields outside his village and town to observe the new moon. Other school of fiqh required two qualified witnesses, in some cases one, to verify the actual sighting of the moon.

Those who insist that Muslims abandon astronomical calculation and rely on individual testimonies are in actuality asking Muslims to abandon the certainty of reliable knowledge, for the inconsistency of unverifiable individual reports. Individual reports, every student of fiqh knows, produce uncertain knowledge (ma'rifah zanniyah). This is amply illustrated by the established records of Moon sighting testimonies. These testimonies have been exceedingly inconsistent, and have resulted in numerous contradictions and reversals.

There is an ample evidence to convince anyone who is familiar with both shari'ah injunctions and contemporary astronomy that astronomical calculations provide a more reliable and certain approach for determining the beginning of the Islamic lunar months. The fact that contemporary Muslim scholars are reluctant to embrace this certainty underscores the challenges facing contemporary Muslim scholarship.

The Fiqh Council of North America's decision to formally adopt astronomical calculation represents a major step forward in overcoming historical inertia. Although the decision of the FCNA has not so far brought about a consensus among North American Muslims, it has set the foundation for the development of a position that can potentially bring a new consensus in deciding the beginning of Ramadan and the two Eids for the world-wide Muslim community.

*This article is a condensed summary of a more elaborate scholarly paper on the question of determining the birth of the new Islamic lunar month. For full version of the arguments, please refer to Dr. Louay Safi's article Reading, Sighting, and Calculating, at http://lsinsight.org/articles/Current/Hilal.htm or http://louaysafi.com//index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=27&Itemid=14.
