RE: [chottala.com] Re: engineer asadul hoque dies

I have no language to express my grieves in response to hearing the sad demise of Asadul Haque. We had long relations with him regarding one common goal to bring back Bangabandhu's dream to build Bangladesh. My feelings are alike to Anu, Akhter and others who fought against odds after killing of Bangabandhu in 1975. We fought against evil tides tried to wash out all our achievement in 1971 just after killing of Mujib. Asad was one of them who understood to withstand against all evil forces and we can say that we were not failed. It is true that we started and that fighting will continue for ever as we believe the prosperity of human beings.

We will not forget you,Asad. This is my request to Anu and Akhter to convey my heart felt condolences to Asad's family.

INNA   LILLA  HE   WA   INNA   LILA  HE   WA   RAZEUN

At this time let we all pray & make DOA to Almighty Allah for Asad's departed soul - so that Almighty Allah give peace in his grave and provide a place to him in jannat ul Ferdous

We all hope & expect that InsaAllah Allah will to that and Asad will get those!

Engineer Asad was a very nice, polite, sincere, honest man.

Today morning there were two JANAZA for him in Dhaka - one at Railway compound & another at Baitul Mokarram mosque compound (He was also Project Director (PD) of the Islamic Foundation, Baitul Mokarram, Dhaka) and he will be buried at his home place Faridpur after Asar prayer.

We all convey our deep condolences to his father (still alive), wife (Mrs. Rozina Parveen vabee, DGM in a public Bank) & children (elder girl Ms. Aboni, 2nd year student of BUET in Mech Engg & son, Mr. Ashik, recently got golden GPA 5 in his SSC exam), his brothers & sisters and his full family.

His Dhaka residence phone numbers are 935 4043 & 933 9000

May Almighty Allah give his wife, father, children, all family members, friends – to have SABUR, strength and peace of mind to bear this huge loss. It is the decision of Allah, we have to accept it!

He was a very good 'friend' of mine as well as my 'younger brother'. He used to like & respect me like as a friend & elder brother too.

Except last year (March 2007, when he was very sick), he used to receive or see off me at the Dhaka airport along with his close friends Engr. Razzak (Sup Engg), Engr Anwar (Deputy Secretary) & others. And we have spent many days-times together.

After coming to New Zealand in 1998 also we had regular contact. I have talked with him & his wife week before and she informed me that his condition was deteriorating rapidly, though he moral was high and requested to make DOA for him.

Couple of week ago Engr. Dr. Gholam Mostafa Vai also phoned me to inform about his poor condition of health and to make DOA. I talked to his wife too (at that time he was in Square hospital). I used to get his update news from my youngest brother (He also work as a Divisional Engineer in Bangladesh Railway at Rail Vaban, Dhaka)

I can clearly recall all good & modest behaviour, attitude of Engineer Asad during my student life in BUET with him (1979 to 1980). I can also distinctly remember his precious time, unrestrained efforts & sincere service for the betterment of the engineering community of Bangladesh through Institute of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB) since 1995 until his death.

He was elected as a Local Council Member of the Institute of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB), Dhaka Centre election in 1998 – 1999 (I was also elected along with him) and he was also elected VP of Electrical Engineering Division of IEB. He used to actively participate in all social and professional activities of the Institute of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB) and always served the community with his utmost dedication as a true fellow. His senior & junior colleagues in Bangladesh Railway & later in Bangladesh Secretariat used to like and respect him respectively, which I have witnessed many time in his offices

All we have seen how he served relentlessly for the engineering community and for his family too (his father, younger sisters, recently passed MBBS, used to stay with him). His feeling, service to engineering community & to his friends (BUET – 83 club and others) & family were so great that it would make a permanent mark in the minds of many engineers, family members, friends both in Bangladesh and abroad to mourn his death .

Let we make DOA, pray again & again for his departed soul for a peaceful stay in grave and a place in Jannat. May Allah accept our DOA.

Ameen.
