PC Security is the one of the most arguable subject on Internet and there are tons of methods available which you can use to give your PC a high level of protection. I have already suggested my recommendations for best Antivirus and best Spyware software along with other must have security tools (Malwarebytes, SuperAntiSpyware). But If you think that your security tools are not working the way they should, or you just want to check for viruses using another software, then you can give it a try to Online Antivirus Scanners.

The Online Scanners are good to check your PC for viruses without actually installing anything, it's like taking a second advise / opinion from someone about your issue. The problem with most of these Online Scanners are that they only give you a report like how much your PC is infected, but doesn't actually remove those items. When you try to fix the infections, the Online Scanners redirect you to their Paid Products and asks you to buy those in order to remove all the viruses from your PC. That's MEAN, but it's 2013 and not everything is free after all.
But after reading a fantastic Online Scanners Test Comparisons and my own testing / experience, find below my recommendations for Online Antivirus Scanners which you can use along with other security tools. As already said, there are many Online Scanners, but below are the ones which not only are good scanners but also remove the threats which they find in your PC.
