Dear Dr. Siraj:

Asslamaulaikum. I'm eagerly waiting for column after columns (in Daily Sun, Purbokone, Prothom-alo, Janakantha, Nayadiganta Shokal, Amardesh) from all the teachers in this forum to voice their opinion against the so called student politics.

It's okay to be associated with a political party for teachers and students. But it is not okay for the students and teachers to use their political tool to kill each other and corrupt the educational institutions.

Some of our teacher have lot of time to write partisan political garbage but do not have time to deal with real issues which will change life for millions of students.

Thank for your article on Chittagong University (CU). As an ex CU student, I know, as I have seen many times in my student life, what instigate a fight in CU and the last one wasn’t exception either. Unfortunately, you concluded/assumed that the fight was initiated to halt the War Crime Tribunal.

Anyhow, I hope and pray that one fine day, you and some other respected teachers will take the stand or initiative to ban SO CALLED student politics in Bangladesh.
