CSDF Programme Schedule of 16 days Activism for Elimination of Violence against Women from Nov 25 to December 10, 2011 Chittagong Social Development Forum (CSDF) a local NGOs & citizen alliance for overcoming suffering of women and children has been serving from December 1996 with small scale of activities by the initiation of some local indigenous NGOs & civil society organizations in southeastern part of Bangladesh. CSDF has been trying to develop a gender discrimination free just society, have equal opportunities for women and girl children through enhancing the capacity and skills of the local NGOs, CSOs, local government council, community service delivery institutions etc. It tries to establishing equal rights of the women in the community, changing social attitudes towards women, children & working communities and increase the participation of local decision making process by using local resources, promotion of Gender mainstreaming at organization & community level, good governance, child rights and environment. It has undertaken following activities to mark the 16 days Activism for Elimination of Violence against Women from Nov 25 to December 10, 2011. These are mentioned below;
