Security Clearance:  Must be eligible for clearance (US Citizen) Travel:  NO Travel Required One of my VENDO/Consulting Company is looking for a Full Time Permanent SQL Server Database Administrator. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, responsible self-starter who can work with minimal supervision. Individual must enjoy working in a team environment. Job Requirements  4-5 years of experience in the following:   Monitoring and Performance tuning is the key requirements.   Replication/Logshipping, clustering   Must need to know Spot Lite   Experience in migrating Oracle and MySQL database is a big plus   Administer and maintain SQL Servers 2005 and 2008(mostly 2008) including triggers,   Support all applications utilized in the user community and provide assistance in automating tasks for our users using Remedy   Primarily responsible for third level (advanced) applications support.   Insure that all SQL Server Databases are backed up and that all can be restored   Build and configure SQL Server databases.   Assist with maintaining intranets with any web applications that use backend databases. Desirables:   Mastery in administering Microsoft SQL Server (no substantiations)   Working towards certification as a Microsoft Certified Professional in at least one area   Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS) or other Web servers is highly desirable   Mastery with installing, configuring, troubleshooting and supporting end users in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access) and MS Internet Explorer   Mastery with developing and supporting relational database applications   Strong working knowledge using and maintaining applications developed in Microsoft SQL Server Must be able to obtain a SECRET security clearance Desirable Certifications: Minimum Level of Education: (Other education, commensurate experience and demonstrated ability of individual may be substituted.)
