In all your blog you start with your usual rhetoric " Dear politically conscious and enthusiastic readers, columnist and journalist" but I wonder if anybody is really conscious why he should only do research on one particular President?? wouldn't it be more prudent to do research on all Kings and Queens who gracefully decorated our throne from the period 1972 - 2008?
Or your so called conscious intellects / reader / journalist are only those, who can dig the dirt on "others" who do not adhere to your beliefs?
My simple understanding of intellects is he or she should be a bi-partisan not a partisan person and posses the guts to say spade is spade, black is black.
You have collected 3 examples to proof damage done by President Zia to Bangladesh and Bangalee (bemused about your Bangalee input does it include opar Banglar bangalee? as they are also Banglaee) a simple "Damage to Bangldesh" would have served your purpose as beside Bangalee there are many indigenous people abode in Bangladesh who are all proud Bangladesh. Please do not aleniate these indigenous Bangladeshi and create division.
Now regarding 3 examples believe you have taken things out of context without going deep in to the thing.
Patronizing War Criminal - Still debatable - is it only BNP? Hasina also had negotiated with Jamat and Golam Azam for political gain.
Inflation highest during Zia era - correct, what else you expect? country was in the process of rebuilding after years of turmoil and Independence. Please read Wikipedia and research of US Library of Congress on President Zia, just do not quote one newspaper.
FYI President Zia was most popular post war leader in Bangladesh ( I hope you remember the funeral of President Zia)
Highest hanging - Again what a bollocks!!!! out of 400 approx 247 was in 1977 and all of them were soldiers tried in military court. Now let be a bit hypothetical - if all 700+ BDR jawans are found guilty of Mutiny and sentenced to death by hanging in court martial - will you say PM Hasina has broken the record of President Zia in hanging?????
You sometime bracket few people like Abdul Gaffar Chowdhury, Shariar Kabir, Muntasir mamun etc as very conscious / intellect and so on. Gaffar Chowdhury recently awarded with Shadinatar Padak for literature, what literary contribution he has made till to date? Is this the reward for demanding to take Khaleda Zia, Nizami anf Salahuddin Qadir to remand and find out their involvment in BDR Carnage??? I have serious doubt about his intelligence / gentlemanship and definitely a partisan person.

1. Why Prime Minister never openly admitted that DG Shakil has contacted her when the mutiny started in Peelkhana?
2. What about the identity of 14 people who came to PM Office with Nanok and Azam to negotiate? Why their identity were not taken or recorded? No pictures even except Towhid and 2 others
3. Where was Sohel Taz? BDR is under his ministry, even abroad he should have been back.
4. Under whose authority MP Taposh has ordered to clear 3KM area?
5. What about the pasenger list of the BG flight whose departure was delayed for two hours? Passenger list now missing
6. Coordinator of all the investgations Col Farook initially found JMB links in the BDR carnage and later admitted it was his own analysis not from investigation. What a moron, how can a person in such responsible post utter this kinda a thing? indirectly influencing (or deliberate diversion) the investigation.
