[FutureOfBangladesh] Thanks Anis Vai for your nicely explaining the hypocrisy of BNP-Jamat and their politics & "Koila dhuileo moila jai na" nature of their overt & covert supporters!

Respected Anis vai,

I have read your very logical article in today's (7.07.08) the daily Shamokal.

http://www.shamokal.com/details.php?nid=95913

You have nicely explained the 'hypocrisy' of BNP-Jamat and their overt & covert supporters!

I have hardly seen any (except very few) rational, consistent, honest, sincere people who support BNP.

Anis vai, I am also not telling that Awami League & its leader-workers-supporters are FERESTA or 100 % clean, honest, corruption free. Not even 90%.

But all of the other parties (which ruled our country) are much less honest than Awami League - may be 50% or less!

In a class exam few boy got 1st class, few got 2nd class and few of them simply passed and few of them failed. Suppose 1st boy of that class got 69% marks, some other student of 2nd class got 51%. If we consider these two students and if we truthfully look at, we find that, theoretically, none of them were total  right or correct - means none of them are 100 % correct and both of them had done mistakes, one has done 31% and other has done 49% mistakes. But both are not of "same of guilty", even 1st boy and 2nd boy would not be same, though their difference may be very small. That is why one is called 1st and other is 2nd.

If someone has to choose only "one best" student from that class (if only the total marks obtained by each student is available to him and that is the set criteria) then he will select the boy who become 1st with 69% marks not any other student, even the 2nd boy, if the selector is an honest and sincere man. But during this BNP-Jamat era this is not the case in many places of Bangladesh! 1st boy is discarded and 2nd division holder (if he is Jamat-BNP supporter) is offered the job-position-business!

Yes, it is my personal opinion, observation - based on facts, authentic books, political columns, articles and news paper report etc

I know some Awami League Ministers, MP and central leaders, who are culprit, like Amir Hussain Amu, Kazi Jafarullah, Salman F Rahman, Akhteruzzaman Babu, Muzaffor Hussain Paltu, Mostafa Mohsin Mantu, Kader Siddiqui, Auronga (last four were expelled by Sheikh Hasina).

A lot of such corrupt, dishonest Minister, MP, and Leaders were expelled, on different occasion, by Bangabandhu, Sheikh Hasina and same process is still going on.

Again I am not telling that all (100% or even 90%) Awami League central Leaders, MPs, Ministers are 100% perfect or "Feresta" and nobody will ever tell such impractical and unbelievable statements. I may generally agree that about 20 % to 30 % Awami League Leaders, MPs, Ministers may be corrupt.

Though I am not so sure, or I do not have any personal or documented proof, like reports in impartial & standard national and international news paper, magazine like The Daily Star, The Prothom Alo, The Jugantor, The Vhorer Kagoj, The Samokal, The Daily Janakantha, The Bangladesh Observer, The Daily "Sangbad", The Times (Int) the Washington Post", The Telegraph, BBC, etc (but not like the "Banglar Banee", The "Ajker Kagoj", the "Amadershomoy", the "Dainik Dinkal", "The Songram", "The Noyadigonta", "The Inkilab", The "Daily Khabor" etc).

But in my opinion and with the documented proof, I can tell that 80% to 95% of BNP central Leaders, MPs, and Ministers are personally and politically corrupt. As I was actively involved with politics since 1968 to 1981 and after that I am a very much politically conscious and informed personal. I spend 3 to 5 hours a day (except last few weeks), in average, on these matters, reading political books, journals, newspapers, information etc. By the grace of Almighty Allah I have a good personal contact with some political personal (?) of different parties, including BNP, Jamat, so I have the scope to know some very internal news too.

I have asked many BNP leaders - supporters about political, financial, personal honesty, capability of the all (not a few) BNP leaders including

No 1, Begum Khaleda Zia,

No 2 Mr. Tarek Zia,

No 3 Mr. Saifur Rahman (he had uttered, "khothakar kon Nazrul?", while inaugurating the "Bhairab bridge over Meghna river". Feasibility study (I was involved in the team), design, tender, fund arrangement, 70% of construction work of that bridge was done during AL Govt, and the bridge was named after Sayed Nazrul Islam by AL Govt as he was the brave son of that area of Bangladesh. But present govt has changed the name and Saifur (sorry not to use "Mr.". in front of his name in this instant. Though he never deserve this respect, I skipped "Mr." only once, as a sign of protest) uttered that most nonsense word about Mr. Sayed Nazrul Islam. But ironically, very recently he has inaugurated two bridges, one after his name and another after his wife's name; please see yesterday's news paper of Bangladesh. Now compare (contribution towards the nation & Govt, in better side. I do not want to mention his other misdeeds) Mr. Sayed Nazrul Islam and Mr. Saifur Rahman, as per my pinion, it will be 9 to 1.

No-4 Mr. Abdul Mannan Bhuiyan,

No-5 Mr. Khondakar Mosharraf Hussain,

No-6 Mr. Mirza Abbas, No-7 Bar Nazmul Huda, No-8 late Lt Col Akbar Hossain, No 9 Mr. Moudud Ahmed (greatest liar and double-dealer) No 10 Mr. Shajahan Siraj, No 11 Mr. Lutfuzzaman Babar, No 12 Air Marshal Altaf Hussain No 13 Mr. S A K A Choudhury No 14 Mr. Meer Nasir No 15 Mr. Alamgir Kobir, No-16 Dr. Osman Faruque No-17 Chief Whip Khondakar Delwar No 18 M K Anwar No 19 Sadek Hussain Khoka No. 20 Morshed Khan and so on.

I did not mention all the names of the corrupt, crooked names of the MP and central leaders of the BNP. Because it is hardly anyone in BNP who is free from enormous corruption! This will be the same type of list of corrupt Ministers (A to Z).

I challenged them to quote 10, even 5 BNP Minister or MPs or central leaders (out of thousands) who are politically, financially, personally honest? None of them (one or two exception might be there. But it is very negligible and not comparable).

This is not my observation and comments only; many honest & sincere common peoples also expressed the same view. Even some BNP, 4 Party Alliance MP and leaders are disclosing and telling these shameful news to media and to public.

But can we find any political personality and figure like Bangabandhu, Mr. Sayed Nazrul Islam, Mr. Tajuddin Ahmed, Mr. AHM Kamruzzaman. Mr. Fhoini Bhushon Majumdar, Mr. Jahur Ahmed Choudhury, Mr. Abdul Aziz of Ctg, (all are late), Mrs. Sheikh Hasina Wajed, Mr. Jillur Rahman, late Mr. Abdus Samad Azad, late Mr. SAMS Kibria, Mr. Abdul Hamid (Ex Speaker), Mr. Abdul Momin (Ex Minister, who defeated BNP minister Lutfuzzaman Babar), late Mr. Ahsanullah Master MP, Mrs. Motia Choudhury, Air Vice Marshal A K Khondakar, Gen M Safiullah, late Mr. Momtazuddin (Ex MP of Natore, killed by BNP supporter backed by minister), late Mr. Abdul Kuddus Makhan (Ex AL MP and GS of DACSU, compare with Mr. Shajahan Siraj), Dr. S A Malek and many more like them - in any other political party of Bangladesh?.

This is about the personal quality of Awami League and BNP leaders. Now please look at the contribution or activities during these (two component) era.

Leave about the long time contribution to our great liberation war and post liberation period. Compare the BNP's 91-96 and 01 -06 eras and Awami League's 96-2001 Era. All most in fields BNP has proved their utmost corruption, nepotism, negligence, inability, lack far sight ness & enthusiasm and they looked for only personal benefit, interest, comfort.

On the other hand Awami League has tried and also done some positive achievements and with some "black spot" too. There was no "Joy-1" or "Joy -2" like "Koko-1" to "Koko-7", Joy and his uncle did not bought "Dandi Dyeing", "Judge Distillery", ITCL, "Howa Bhavan" and many more like these. Mrs. Sheikh Rehana was not made minister or MP like "Choklate Apa", Dr. Wazed Mia was not given any extension to the  prestigious and respectable position of, Chairmanship of Bangladesh Atomic Energy Centre or any other high post in the Govt or any organization, though he is prominent scientist.

Awami League had many "Abdur Rahman Bishwas" type or even better than that for the post of President of Bangladesh. But knowing the power of President and necessity of party minded President during caretaker Govt (as shown by Abdur Rahman Bishwas, during 1996), Awami League did not made Mr. Abdus Samad Azad or Mr. Jillur Rahman or Mr. Humayun Rashid Choudhury the President, rather, to introduce a noble practice, Awami League made a more less neutral (up to that time) man, Justice Sahabuddin (though Awami League had some justified minor complain about his negligence during his 1st Care Taker president ship) as a President of Bangladesh, as Bangabandhu made Justice Abu Sayed Choudhury (a non Awami Leaguer), a neutral and competent person, in spite of many competent personal in Awami League, as a President of Bangladesh.

See the power sector, see the price of essential commodity, see the number of political killing, illegal and extra judicial killing, Law order situation, corruption, national and international image, performance of Govt-Ministers-MPs and what not!

If you read the numerous articles about the corruption, misrule, lying and all terrible things of ex BNP Ministers, MPs, leaders, starting from No-1, published almost every day, during their (BNP) era and after that, in different dailies of Bangladesh, written by Dr. Muntasir Mamun, late Mr. Ohidul Haq, Mr. Shahriar Kabir, Mr. Abdul Motin, Mr. Swadesh Roy, Mr. Mohiuddin Ahmed (Ex Secretary), Mr. Abdul Ali(Ex Secretary), Mr. Mostafa Jabbar, Mr. Borhan Ahmed, Mr. Belal Beg and many more including yourself (none of them are/were Awami Leaguers). But there is no objection against those news by them, including the then press office of the then Prime Minister, led by a secretary and other ministers also. They have no moral strength & guard to protest any of the news-matters cited in their articles.

Though, previous BNP-Jamat JOT govt did not spare their political opponent for any silly reason, few examples are:

  • They have put our Ex Air Force Chief behind the bar for so called "snapping" a wrist watch from a non-commissioned air force officer.
  • They put "theft" charge against Mr Saber Hossain Choudhury, a well known rich business man (for stealing ordinary quality dining plates from the Aricha-Doulatdia-Mawa ferry boat)
  • They tortured & arrested Dr. Muntasir Mamun, Mr. Shariar Kabir for so-called planning of "bombing" in cinema hall at Mymensingh. Actually they were arrested & tortured for telling the facts, truths and for disclosures of news & picture of 'gang' rape, torture to the press etc.

So, we can conclude that "no sensible, honest, patriotic person can support BNP" (with a very few exception) and "Koila dhuileo moila jai na" !

I wrote earlier in my many postings that "We" (mainly 90% of so called varsity-college educated) are main culprit. We are responsible for all these miseries. We vote/support those "worst" peoples and discard the "better" ones.

Until and unless we do proper regret ("TOUBA") and do not rectify our self (from heart and by action too and not like those so called "neutral", as clearly explained and identified by SAMS Kibria in his one article published in the daily Janakantha) personally, socially, politically - we have to suffer, months after month, years after years, generation after generation!

Even if we want to escape from Bangladesh by migrating to US – CanadaEuropeAustralia - New Zealand and anywhere (what we are doing and trying now), we won't get peace, prosperity, tranquillity.

We and the people of Bangladesh may feel that those people (who escaped or left Bangladesh) are in peace – but in reality, they are now suffering a lot and mostly internally, in near future it will be like hell ("JAHANNAM") and will happen to almost to all of us, more or less, until and unless we do proper "TOUBA".

It is true and it is the rule of the universe and it must happen - otherwise civilization, social rule, history, faith, – every thing will become mock - false – fake - wrong. But it can not be!

It will never be! It never happened everlastingly! It may take place for a little period but not forever!

Anis vai, please, do not get offended and bore, I told these, many times, for the sake of our betterment, for truth and reality, and to open the face of the hypocrites of our society, country

We have to be sincere and honest personally, politically, socially and have to act accordingly. We have to support, admire, help better group and keep them in 1st position and place the less better one, (even though the difference is very little) in 2nd or subsequent position.

Let Almighty Allah bless us all and Bangladesh, so that we can stay in our motherland peacefully, amicably, successfully. But Allah helps those nations who help themselves.

Finally thanks for your patience and time.
