President of Bangladesh Economic Association Prof. Dr Abul Barkat on Saturday said anti-liberation forces have set lobbyists at the cost of Tk 1000 to save the war criminals of 1971 liberation war from being tried.
He revealed the stunning information at a discussion meeting at the Bangabandhu International Conference Centre in the morning.
Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) arranged the discussion to mark the
August 15, the day of martyrdom of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the national mourning day.
Prof. Barkat said the anti-liberation fundamentalist forces have
invested in 11 sectors including nine major sectors of the country
through which they control 75 percent of the national trade and
commerce.
