Jamat-BNP Police jumped on Mr. Sohel Ta, MP, son of 1st Prime Minister of Bangladesh and national leader late Mr. Tajuddin Ahmed.

 

Police tore his dress and then police beat him down to the street pavement.

 

He was joining a mass Hunger strike - a peaceful and non destructive protest by Awami League in Dhaka at Osmani Uddayn on 24^th March 2002 against Human Rights violation after the election of 2001

 

Former Agriculture Minister Mrs. Motia Chowdhury was taken to police vans after she is detained during the Awami League-called massed hunger strike. Former Water Resource Minister, Mr. Abdur Razzaq, MP, former Commerce Minister, Mr. Tofael Ahmed also faced cruelty of Jamat-BNP police while joining a mass hunger strike - a peaceful & symbolic protest by Awami League in Osmani Uddayn, Dhaka on 24^th March 2002 against Human Rights violation after election of 2001

 

Former State Minister and MP, Mr. Saber Hossain Chowdhury - Political Secretary of Leader of the Opposition, Sheikh Hasina and Awami League central leader Mr. Asaduzzaman Noor MP, were being torched into police vans and taken to be detained as Police Station as they were going to join a mass Hunger strike - a peaceful and non destructive protest by Awami League in Dhaka at Osmani Uddayn on 24^th March 2002 against Human Rights violation after the election of 2001
