Could you please do some search on present political leader's talking & activities in Bangladesh & historical background i) on division of Bengal in 1905 what reasons ii) on reuniting of Bengal in 1911 what reasons iii) on division of Bengal in 1947 for merging Bengal with India & Pakistan what reasons iv) on division of India in 1947 what reasons v) Creating Bangladesh in 1971 with half not whole Bengal what reasons If you are searching the criminals to do trials for against the creation of Bangladesh in 1971 then Why are you not asking to search for doing trials to making the divisions of Bengal & India? Major Ziaur Rahman (THEN) did read out the Proclaimation of Bangladesh but does that give him the same respect as Sk. Mujibur Rahman. Ziaur Rahman was a great and gallant Freedom Fighter, he had a great contribution to the nation but he was not the C-in-C of the Liberation army. Lest you forget, President Ziaur Rahman during his regime also executed most high ranking freedom fighters. I have to admit Ziaur Rahman was one of the least corrupt President, except to remain in power. Ms. Dina, you may be thinking that I am a Awami Leauge person, well I am not. I did not like when Sk. Mujib turned my country into a one man rule, I hated when he formed the Baksal, I hated it when Newspapers were limited and journalists were forced to join the BAKSAL. Most of all when our rights were taken away by the ruthless Rokhhi Bahina. Well Ms. Dina, I was there and witnessed it first hand, not by reading biased books. 1. If you wish to deny the Liberation War of 1971, it's your choice, many people still believe that theearth is flat and square, the sun goes around the earth and so on. 2. It's not "So called Freedom Fighters" do not disrespect many young souls who gave their lives for Bangladesh and many young men fought a war with pride and dignity.
