Dear chottala readers,
Recent incidents in Rajshahi University, Dhaka University, Chittagong University, Sylhet and other places of Bangladesh causing killing of some brilliant students are really painstaking. They were sent by their parents in the Colleges or Universities to study and after completion of their studies supposed to take the responsibilities of their poor families in their future days to come.

Our political leaders to fulfill their selfish political motivation, utilizing those boys and thus causing the loss of many innocent lives. Who will be responsible for those killing and who will take the responsibilities of those poor families eagerly waiting for their children to come back after completion of their studies to look after, bringing and uplifting their families? On the other hand our political leaders used to send their own children to foreign countries to educate their children and to make their future life prosperous in a most sophisticated way.

Our neighbouring country India even in Pakistan also, students were never allowed to do any politics. Why the students of a small country like our Bangladesh are pushed forward and being encouraged to do politics to fulfill their selfish political desire. Is there any other country in the world where there is such type of student politics as it is in our country?

Our Home Minister advocate Sahara Khatun is telling in her strong voice whoever is responsible for those killings will be given exemplary punishment. Our Prime Minister also demanded and is giving instruction for the punishment of those real culprits whichever party those belong to. Babu Suranjit Sen gupta is also giving a good suggestion to band Jammat-E-Islami from our country. All of them are telling very nice and giving most valuable suggestion. But to an utter surprise nobody is suggesting to band student politics from our country as a whole.

Our Ex-President Hussain Muhammad Ershad during his regime once tried to take up a step to band student politics. Nobody did listen to him and turned a deaf ear about his initiatives. As proposal came from him, he did not encourage any student politics in his own party and made any student group for his political benefits, but others did not listen to him and abide by the proposals put forward by him and were continuing on, with their policy of bringing students into politics. The ultimate results are today's killing of students in all the Universities, in different halls and in the different student's campus. Will there be any end of it?

Dowllah.
