It was none but notorious Tarek Rahman who was the planner of brutal grenade Attack on Awami League meeting on August 21, 2004 to kill Sheikh Hasina and other top Awami League leaders.
Tarek Rahman was the gang leader who arranged the final meeting on August 14 of 2004 in the premises of Howa Bhobon the alternate powerhouse of BNP-Jamaat alliance government to plan killing Sheikh then opposition leader Sheikh Hasina.
Meeting attended by terrorist Mufte Hannan, then PM Khaleda Zia's Political Advisor Hares Chowdhury, Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary Ali Ahsan Mujahid, Home Minister Lutfozzaman Babar, Bangabandhu killer Freedom Party leader Maj. Noor and other BNP-Jamaat top ranking leaders.
