Here is a great news to share with you.
During the last summer, me and my few friends (mostly iutians) in Europe, Canada and US planned to create a website for Bangla Gaan and Bangla Gaan only.
Our aim is to
1. Create a site for spreading Bangla gaan, Bangla culture all over the world
2. Promote listening music online, rather than download.
3. Build up the biggest Bangla gaan Archive
4. Accumulate rare collections of our local music (Folk songs, Classical songs, Regional songs) with help of the users
We started with 16000+ song on 16 December, plan to reach 21000+ on 21 February and 26000+ on 26th March...... so on.
I would like to request you to have a look at our website and help us grow with your experienced suggestions.
We need your help in form of suggestions, participation and morals. With your help we are going to launch our 2nd version on 21 February being even better and bigger.
