Here is a newspaper  article that describes various aspects of the murder of pro-Bangladesh intellectuals during our liberation war. The article is written by Dr. M.A.Hasan, convenor of Bangladesh War Crimes Fact Finding Committee. The
article mentions:
 
" A draft scheme to murder the intellectuals was prepared by Jamaate Islami's
Gholam Azam and Abbas Ali Khan. The Plan was submitted to the General Rao Forman Ali of the occupation regime. This handing over of the Plan was done by Golam Azam himself, personally. The approved intellectual-murder plans were implemented by Ali Ahsan Mujahid, Matiur Rahman Nizami ( then president of Nikhil Pakistan Islami Chatra Shanga ), Kamruzzaman, Moinuddin, Ashrafuzzaman, Ashrafuzzaman, Dhaka Medical College (DMC) Islami Chattro Sangho head Emran, DMC pathology 
Department Physician Dr. Ehsan, Barisal Medical College Islami Chattro Sangha
leader Jalil etc all Al-bodor members. Al-Bodor High command member Ashrafuzzaman was the Operational Chief  of it's killing squad...............
........   Jamaate Islam's Ali Ahsan Mujahid, Kamruzzaman and Matiur Rahman Nizami played a leading role (in decision making and motivating the cadres)
in the 1971 intellectual murder scheme with the Al-Bodor gestapos in action.

  As matter of fact the Jamaate Islami, as always, is playing the dirtiest games..... Their show of love for the Martyred Intellectuals & Muktijuddho is really a travesty of their  Jehadi support for Izlamic Refublic of Fakistan: Our Nation has not forgotton that the Murder of Intellectuals in December 1971 was the sole act of Jamaat's militia the Al-bodor Bahini under the command of today's Jamaate Islami Chief Matiur Rahman Nizami:  Just lell us why Islami Chattro Sangha changed it's name to Chattro Sibir ?  The real reason is that Islami Chattro Sangha's hand was so much tainted with the blood freedom loving Bangalees that it had no other choice but to change it's name and come up with a new SIBIR lebash.

During our Liberation war against the occupation Army of Pakistan your Nikhil Fakistan's Islami Jamiat Taleba's Eastern wing [Islami Chattro Sangha) decided to help Pakistan's occupation Army in occupaied People's Republic of Bangladesh. In order to perform a Jehadi role against the Freedom Fighter [miscreants,in Jamaati language], the All Pakistan Islami Jamiat Talba's Central Assembly (Markazi Shoora) announced the formation of a Battle (Jihad) wing in the name of Al-Bodor. Pakistan's Islami Jamiat Talba's literatures (in Urdu) describes how efficiently Al-Badar cadres eliminated the "Gaddar intellectuals" and the miscreants (freedom fighters) ......Matiur Rahman Nizami was the main organizer of Albadar and was always at the helm during 9 month period.

Matiur Rahaman Nizami was the president of Nikhil Pakistan Islami Chatra Shanga. He was very busy on central issues and staying in Dhaka and Karachi, how it was possible for him to go to remote villages to organize RAZAKARS ?
