I always pray to Allah for Motahera, the way I pray for the departed souls of my mom and dad, my uncles ( paternal and maternal).The love and affection she showered on me can only be matched by my parents.Whether in Chiitagong ( Rahmatganj,Khulsi or Kazir Dewri ) or in faraway places such as Ann Arbor,Michigan, or Washington D.C.USA , I got so much care from her.She was a wonderful combination of smartness with grace/elegance.I used to call her in a sing-sung name 'Mammum-ma'; I think the name originated from very deep in my heart.
The gifts she gave to me while I visited her in USA in 1990s,still remain as symbols of her love. Nargisbubu and Moyeenda we join in your prayer. Best, Mahmud
