Man jailed for sheltering father in UAE |

Ras Al Khaimah: A Bangladeshi has been jailed for two months and fined Dh100,000 for sheltering his father who had entered the country illegally. He will be deported after he serves his term, according to court records. The court has sentenced the father to a month's imprisonment, followed by deportation. A senior court official said the father came into the country illegally through the Oman-UAE border and reached his son in Ras Al Khaimah two months ago. |
