I don't understand why Mr. Azad has to bring up some medieval terms "darul harb" or "darl Alam" to understand something even most Muslims are not familiar with today. It is plain and simple that most Muslims in America after they receive their citizenship take it as their own country. If you remember the Muslim American man whose family was informed of him first as being a terrorist at the 9/11 attack was informed later, after the video search that when everybody was fleeing from the scene to safety, he ran toward the direction of the building to save his fellow American human lives. He died at the scene. There are many other instances. I hope Mr Azad should stop his nonsense knowledge of him to the so called sense of darul harb or darl Alam.

   
 I know many people who write against Islam on the net take Muslim names to hide their real identity and try to make their points stronger. I am not sure if Mr, AbdurRahim Azad has a different name. I am not a practicing Muslim myself, but I didn't know that there is an actual word "Murtab" -'boot-leacker slave idea' mentioned in Muslim history. But I very much doubt that Mr. AbdurRahim Azad is a Murtab himself. I can sense him as our " xenophobic" anti-Muslim "Dada." They (like Ram Mohan Roy who dressed like a Muslim, now some Ram Mohans) keep a Muslim name, and would even use Muslim vocubalaries as Ram Mohan in his time spoke in Persian. He has been a symbolic so-called progressive dada) 

 

I may be wrong about this gentleman. But my suspecion grew when I had used the word "dada" in one of my writings which hurt him badly. By the way "dada" is a way of criticizing the "big brotherly" notorious "Zamindari xenophobic" attitude of the West Bengali absentee zamindars who were ruling East Bengal. Some others of their kind were also negatively known in Bangladesh as the "Nababs." These were the boot-leackers of the British and the former were fundementalist Hindus but for their anti-Muslim attitudes branded themselves as the "humanists," secularists" and the "progressives." You will find this type of chauvinism and the so-called progressive attitude in the vocabularies of the present premier of West Bengal. Watch his statements about Bangladesh in West Bengali newsmedias. He often time refers to Bangladesh as a terrorist state. The dadas of the Ananda Bazar Potrika group in Calcutta keep the flames of this anti-Muslim Bangladesh among most of the the peace-loving Indians. Buddhadev dada was a good friend of another boot-leacker, and dada-lover Taslima Nasrin originally from Bangladesh.  

 

 If we have to see the gentleman "Azad" as a humanist, I myself as a reader of the Nutun Bangla/ Chottla, and here Abdur Rahman Azad as a contributer, would like to ask the editors to demand from him his short cv; at least where he is located and what he does for living. I am sure most of us don't want to communicate with a ghost here! I believe that is a fair thing to ask for. As a matter of courtesy, the gentleman can voluntarily let them know/ us know before he is asked for it.

Can you tell us if we should consider USA, a Darul Islam or a Darul Harb ?

 

I have been told by a Maulana friend of mine who lives in America that it is

the best place in the world to practice Islam for the individuals in the truest sense.

 

USA  has a very well defined policy of freedom of religion  and  freedom to practice religion.

 

There is no grand scheme to expel Muslims from the soil of America .....

 

The number of Mosjids grew 10-folds during last 20 years. Ramnents of racism

do exist in America and there are some resistance to the new commers by the

neocons and other vested groups. But those are no where close to point the

the Catholics, Chinese, and Japanease  and even Jews were treated in 19th

and 20th century. The America treats new commer muslims lot better

than we treat non-muslims and Biharis in Bangladesh,  in general.

See the verses 5:57-59 and 60:7-9 for clarification.   Note-2: Majority of Christians do not follow the true teachings of Jesus. For example: Jesus himself never claimed to be God; He never preached irrational doctrine like original sin and Trinity; He never told his followers to worship him; In fact, he used to pray to God the way Muslims do [Matthew 26:39, 14:23]; and so on. According to Bible, he was a man [Acts 2:22] and a Prophet [Matthew 21:11, Luke 24:19].
