Re: [chottala.com] Re: Great Memory

Miro Bhai
salam.
In fact, your below writings made me nostalgic.

At schooling period I used to stay at Rahmatganj area with my parents. There was a mobile piyanju seller in front of City corporation office. He used to sell 16pcs piyanju at 1.00 taka only. Now you can imagine how small that was but tremendous delicious.I think you also can remember him.I sometime visit that area but couldn't find him.Like that we have so many memories those are lying in silience.

Advance Eid Mubarak to you also & to all chottala members.

Have a nice eid.

sharfuddin

Helal/Sharfuddin and All:

I personally miss "Arabi Halim" from Iqbal Hotel (dewan
bazar)...Small things like 'Pyazu" brings back so much memory from
back home.....We had a skinny pyazu vendor named "Bacchu-ya" in our para, and he was the best...till this days Pyazu reminds me of him...I remember hitting a cricket ball right into his frying pan(non intentional), he was mad as hell and complained to everyone that was related to me :)

...There was "Kabijjar Dowanor Cha" I miss it whenevr I drink tea....There was "Mathhor Biryany" (actually it was chonabut) and "dail-pury" from Chandan Pura area which was just the best I ever had...

I also remeber a "shon-papri wala", to whom we called "Zeda", used to sell us shon-papri in credit if we didnt have the money...I am sure I payed all of Zeda's bills in full, if not I hope Zeda will forigive me as I was very young...:)

It goes without saying that the Eid was by far the best occassion in my life and the joy of having new clothes, shoes and just roaming around with friends was just fantastic...Now they are all far away in time and just a sweet memory. Anyways, Eid Mubarak to all fo you in advance...Thanks,

Miro
