Dear Mr Adnan mannan,
It was a great shock to me when I heard from one of my
relative from chittagong that Mr Harun Salam is no
more.
I met him first in possibly year 1999. I purchased one
apartment from his housing properties in 1999.
When I met first, I surprised how a housing state
business become so gentle and extremely sober person.
He was just young, came back from USA after completion
of degrees, not yet married.
We nearly complete the deal within half an hour.In the
mean while his father ( Mr M.A Salam - a legend
politician, social worker,industrialis
office. Harun vai was asking the approval from his
father for me to close the deal. I saw thedeep
intencity of respect of a son to his father who was
brought up ina western culture.
Since then we become good friends. Whenever we met,he
used to tell me with as usual smile " Mannan Vai, do
some marketing for my apartments in singapore in your
friend circle."
I used to say, harun vai" you should not be a
businessman"
Eventually he followed the great path of his father to
do social works.
On behalf of my family members, relatives and friends
we express our heartfelt simpathy to his family
members.
May Allah give them the strength to withstand the loss
of such a great human being.
