Dear Community friends and families,
I abu rumi on behalf of friends and family would like to invite you to the Metro Washignton, Maryland and Virginia Boishakhi Potho Mela on April 16th, 2011. Friends and Family would like to present the first time ever Boishakhi Potho Mela in Arlignton, Virginia. As you all know that Friends and Family always giving you the best of the best entertainment and cultural events in the well known bengali community of Washginton, Maryland and Virginia. We have hosted very well known event like Pohela Boishkah which was first introudced by Friends and Family in this area in 2005. Friends and Family atleast hosted and arranged seven pohela boishakh's where you have witnessed great combination of dance and singing performances with large audience of atleast not less than two thousand. We also extened our great arrangment and performances among other Bangladeshi Community in North Carolina, Richmond City, Norfolk Virginia, New York etc. Our reputation caught people's attention in other states and cities of United States where we completely staistfied the crowd and due to our reputation we are still in good shape among other cities and states. Not only Pohela Boishakh, as you have noticed an event like Pitha Utshob arranged by us brought more than thousands of people close to each other. In the Year of 2010 and 2011 Pitha Uthshob arranged by Friends AND Family brought highest crowd than any other Pitha Utshob in whole United States. By arranging these two events we want to make sure that our bangladeshi friends and their families are enjoying the two best events of the year. These two events will certainly make them forget about their stress or any type of tensions and will let them enjoy for at least two days in the year. Potho Mela is a perfect example of real Boishakhi Mela which you will usually see in Bangladesh. ( The Real Image)
To make this Potho Mela much more exciting and sucessful we are introducing:
1) National Artist From Bangladesh such as "BOYATI SONGS" ( Like kuddus boyati) and etc.
2) Special artists from New York
3) Performace by young kids
4) Youth performance
5) Singing and Dancing performances by popular local artist
6) Band show by famous performers
This is just an initial invitation to all of my lovely friends and family members. As our preparation progresses, we will keep updating you with more and more exciting items which will take place at Potho Mela.
