Jamal Khan has posted online at  (www.americanopioid.org)  his PODCAST on "American Opioid" on a National crisis item of Addiction to Opioid that has affected over 2 million Americans, sometimes through Overdose and some loss of lives, which can get worse if not prevented through awareness, control and treatment. The purpose of this Podcast is to bring awareness to the National audience of USA about this National crisis on addiction and to save lives through a research-backed popular Podcast format as creative and literary-rich Fictional Narrative that starts as follows:

 

"They met when she could not speak and he could not hear. They met in the most affordable day care center in the City of Ragle, one of the nation's many flashpoints of the opioid crisis. He was two. She was three. They relied on each other for survival."


This Podcast is structured in six seasons with several different corresponding Episodes in each Season as listed below. Season-3 and Season-6 will contain Interviews with a large number of Opioid related officials at City-County-State levels all across USA, who are working with this Opioid crisis in various different capacities, in addition to some patients, survivors and affected families with loss of lives in the family due to this National crisis on Addiction, illness and death. This Podcast deals with some challenging topics and is for Mature audiences. The Season-1 with all of its 6 Episodes has now been published in several different platforms at the following links:

Jamal Khan is the author writer of the original story of this Podcast and he is also the narrator of this American Opioid Podcast (www.americanopioid.org).  As a Presidential Management Fellow (PMF), he worked on the Opioid policy issues for the White House Office of Intergovernmental Affairs during the Obama Administration. A Berkeley and Harvard Law graduate, Jamal is a licensed attorney in the State of California. He has worked for US-Senator Kamala Harris (CA), US-Senator Catherine Cortez Masto (NV) and San Jose, CA Mayor Sam Liccardo in their recent election campaigns. Jamal also worked earlier for Nancy Pelosi when she was the Speaker of the US House of Representatives the first time.
