[chottala.com] Injustice with Sindh in Punjabi Pakistan

High and mighty

HOW is it that Sindh province, population 23% of Pakistan, produces 32% of Pakistan's GDP, 70% of its Natural Gas and 56% of its Oil, but it gets back less than it gives to Pakistan and only 50% of its schools have running Water?

Clearly, something is very wrong with this picture. This anomaly was due to the province's neglect or by the federal government Establishment. Though PPP, was a Sindh-based party it was powerless in against unelected Pak Establishment because it was not allowing even Non Punjabi Federal Ministers to get their Department Secretary replaced, forget about ordering their dismissal.

Sindh government is being deprived of funds and Pak Budget is evident of that. The fact is Punjabi Pakistan Military pulls the strings from behind the Curtain of its Staged Democracy and runs Pakistan through unelected Punjabi Civil Establishment in Islamabad. It never wants to stop stuffing Punjab on price of other Provinces and its looting of Pakistanis.

Pakistan Military has stolen half to 3/4th of Pakistan's yearly Budget for decades and now since it has declared some of its Branches as Civilian though they are still under its command like Rangers, Frontier Rifles, Weapons & Arms Manufacturing Factories, etc and it has been earning tons of money through its Commercial Business Monopolies, we do not see Military Budget as high as it used to be. Whatever Military Owned Business earn they pay no Tax and they do not turn over their Income to State Bank of Pakistan, while all Civilian Government Owned Businesses have to turn in their Profits to Government. In some cases, Military Pesonnel in it's Commercial Enterprises are getting paid out of Civilian Budget but their Income keeps going to Military.

Re: [chottala.com] WHEN DID YOU BECOME A BANGLADESHI- IN MARCH 1971 OR AFTER?

Mr. fameelectronics,

Everything is important: our history, and our present which would give us clues to the future. Helping the poor is another important thing. Debate on national issues is also an important thing. There is an Awami rubbish minister who says everything is rubbish." rubbish, rubbish, rubbish" he says. Now people call him Mr. rubbish.
Again, Mr. fameelectronics,
Nothing is "rubbish" in life, including your electronic goods. If they were rubbish, companies wouldn't make it.

So, think to be a real patriot, do something for the poors of the country. Our only enemy is our poverty,
we hate to see the poverty. Still some poors are collecting food from the dustbin everyday, and you people are talking all these useless tall talk. Shame on you.

WHEN DID YOU BECOME A BANGLADESHI-  IN MARCH 1971 OR AFTER?

These days some Mujibbadi Awamis fail to see their dark shadows and think Zia was a "Pakistani agent/ spy" because he changed his loyalty to Pakistan only after March 25, 1971.'(Ref. ৭১ এর মার্চের দুইটি দিবস এবং দুইজন বাঙালী অফিসার।) To them Mujib was the true hero of the liberation war. To that question, I ask, weren't all most all the Bangladeshis voluntarily remained Pakistanis until March 25, 1971?

Then again, the point is when did you personally become a Bangladeshi? When did this transformation take place in you?Or you were born after the war? Or you were busy relaxing at your parent's home and eating hot meal prepared by your mother  and now you became a big chatona dhari?

Bhasani became a Bangladeshi in December in 1970.  Mujib made the famous "if speech" on March 7. " If the conditions were not met then...". Bhasani actually made a formal declaration on March 9, 1971. So he became a Bangladeshi on March 9.  I personally became a Bangladeshi on March 3 around 5:00 pm when I saw dead bodies from Jhoutola wireless colony were arriving at the Lal Dhigi moidan in Chittagong. On this day, a public meeting was scheduled to take place at Lal Dghi Moidhan. M R Siddiqui was joining us as the chief guest. At the meeting we demanded that the declaration of independence should be made. He wanted us to wait for a declaration from Dhaka.  Again, when we saw dead bodies, I along with my friends set fire on the Pakistani flag. Moments before, I was still a Pakistani. There were many others like us who became Bangladeshis in March, 1971. In March, things were changing minute by minute.

Like most military men, Zia was still a Pakistani soldier until March 25, and he was following orders. He changed his loyalty on March 25 and immediately after he took up arms.

Around the time Zia revolted, Mujib refused to sign the UDI proposed by Tajuddin and voluntarily surrendered to the Pakistan army. Did Mujib change his loyalty until past December 1971? Did Golam Azam became a Bangladeshi around the same time? So why to bother about Zia's loyalty to Pakistan until March 25? Why don't you Mujibbadis ask when Mujib became a Bangladeshi?

When Zia changed his loyalty to Pakistan, he even formally declared the independence of Bangladesh; first in his name then on behalf of the elected leader Mujib risking the lives of his entire family still living in the cantonment! So Mujib didn't fight the liberation war. But he had all the credits until things beginning to come to light! So who is a coward, Mujib or Zia?

Also, where was Mujib's family during this time? How come Mujib's family ( "the best Bengali's family") was receiving allowance from the Pakistan government? Why?  When did the Chatona dhari Hasina change her loyalty to Pakistan? Of course she had no time for chatona but was getting ready for Joy! So why to bother about Zia's loyalty before March 25 1971? Ask yourself where were you at the time and when did you change your loyalty to Bangladesh!

Ex-Chicago comptroller arrested in Pakistan, may be extradited to U.S.

Reuters

LAHORE, Pakistan (Reuters) - A former aide to Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel who fled to Pakistan while awaiting sentencing in the United States on corruption convictions has been arrested in Pakistan and authorities there are deciding whether to hand him over to the United States, Pakistani officials said on Friday.
Amer Ahmad was detained on fraud allegations four days ago when he tried to enter Pakistan at the airport in Lahore carrying large amounts of cash, an airport official said.
"We recovered $170,000 and 124,000 euros from his person," the airport official told Reuters on condition of anonymity as he was not authorized to speak to the media on the matter.
"We had already been alerted about his arrival and fraud allegations. He is still in Lahore but may be moved to Islamabad in the coming days."
Ahmad faces up to 15 years in federal prison in the United States after pleading guilty in December to conspiracy to commit money laundering, wire fraud and bribery.
He was accused of conspiring with others from about January 2009 through January 2011 to use his role as deputy treasurer for the state of Ohio to direct official state of Ohio broker services business to a securities broker in exchange for payments from that broker. A sentencing date has not been set.
Ahmad, 39, had gone on to become a comptroller for the City of Chicago, where he lived with his wife and children while awaiting sentencing. He resigned as Chicago comptroller before his indictment in August on the Ohio charges.
A federal judge issued an arrest warrant for him last week for violating the terms of his bail agreement.
His wife, Samar Ahmad, 35, had sought an order of protection against him in Chicago on April 24, accusing him of verbal abuse, threatening to take their children and asking her to get him a fake birth certificate from Pakistan for a passport.
"He believes that (he) is not guilty and deserves a life with the children and repeatedly gets very angry if I say anything," she said in the court document.
Mobasher Tirmizi, deputy director at the Federal Investigation Agency, told Reuters Ahmad has dual nationality, Pakistani and American.
"It is premature to say whether we will hand him over to the U.S.," Tirmizi said. "For now we will produce him before the court. It's for higher officials to decide if he will be handed over to the Americans."

---------------
No Foreign Born high Official has committed such a fraud in USA in 238 years old US History so, Pakistan has won the Number One status in one more faculty abroad. Allaho Akbar ...!
