Dear All; or Not so Dear All, All so called Democratic forces of Burma (so-called Myanmar ) should determined that "Are we really a Democratic, peace-loving, Human Rights conscious people at the first place. Are you only after your single group , only for Burmans, Rakhines, Chin, Shan, Kacin, Kayah, or other individual group only or rights for all human-beings. If you do not really believe and profess and act like democratic, You do not deserve democracy, Human rights and any other rights! Simply you will not get it, never! If you do not respect others rights, you do not deserve to have your rights, never be. If you do not respect others belief, your faith also does not deserved to be respected! If you do not see other as human-beings, your can not be a respectable human-being! You have to remember, all those racist shouting loud in a democratic countries like in Japan, UK, Germany, USA or others, you are there on the credential of democracy and human rights only! If you shout racist slogans in a democratic country which have given you shelters, you are disgrace to democracy, to your host country in fist place. You are not deserved to be there! For Rohingya being migrants of 1950s to Arakan ( Occupied by Burma in 1784-1785 ) ; I will like to have some answers from you, Your Divine Professor Aye Chan, Khin Manung Saw, Aye Kwaw, call-on any other Historian you likes ! I do not really know they are doctors of History or Doctor of Engineering History!
1. I want to ask first to Rakhines who are racist, ultra-nationalist and Buddhist-fundamentalists.... Do you want really to save your Religion (Buddhistness) or your Nation, Race , "Rakhine"? If you want to save your religion only, you better stick with Burmans Fascist, Racist, and Brutal Military Junta.and their cronies! As the Burmans Junta planning and working hard to populate Arakan with Burmans from mainland Burma , Arakan will become a Burmans majority country; not "Arakan" of Rakhine or Rohingyas or any body else. If you want to save your culture, Norms, Race, your religion and also. your Nation " Rakhine " and " Arakan ", you got to be realistic and to see the real history of Arakan ( our case " Arakan " is nothing to do with Burmans, or any others ), and you have to go with all other nations of Arakan, who are the Natives of Arakan, not with those Brutal racist, occupiers and oppressors. 2. I want to have some answers for following questions.
(A) Where are the descendants of the people (let's say The X people) who had builds Badr Moqum (Bodes of Muslim Saints) and alike in Akyab (Sittwe) and along the coastal line of Arakan in 7th and 8th century? And those of Arabs and south Indians sea-traders who had the trading connection with Arakan and some who settled in Arakan (Since 1st Century). (B) Where are the descendants of Arab shipwrecks survivors (The X people), who had been given shelter by Maha Thaing Chandra King in 788 A.D. in Arakan and so on? (C) Where are the descendants of people of Indian Chndra Hindus who had converted to Islam (The X people of Arakan ) in that era and after-ward? (D) Islam, Muslims and the X people of Arakan, were there in Arakan, 200-years before Tibeto-Burman- Mongoloids entered Burma from the north to become Burmans. { The X people are there in Arakan 7th & 8th century, where, Burmans only entered Burma in 9th & 10th Century A.D.}.{ And 1st. Burman Kingdom Pagan was established in 1044 A.D. only }. (E) The X people of Arakan are Aryan Descent as the Hindu Indian Chandra people of Chandra Dynasty. Where, the Rakhines and Burmans are of Tibeto-Burman- Mongoloid Descent as they profess). (F) How you explain the names of Arakan, Ranbree, Cheduba, Kaladan, Kalapanzin, Naf, Akyab, Badr Moqum, Bandar Wali, Gen. Wali Mosque, Sandi Khan Mosque etc….( These all names are of the X people of Arakan ). (G) Where are the descendants of the people (The X people), 50,000-strong forces of Gen. Wali Kahn, who came to liberate Arakan from Burmans occupiers of Arakan in 1429 A.D.? (H) Where are the descendants of Gen. Sandi Khan (The X people), about 30,000-strong who came to reinstate Arakan King Naramaikla in Arakan.1430-33 A.D. At that period all the important institutions of Arakan Kingdom was run by those technocrats, bureaucrats, educated people of (the X people of Arakan.!). & Why Persian Language was an offfical language of Arakan from 1433 to 1845 A.D; even after British take over of Arakan in 1824 A.D. )?. (J) Why main pronunciation Islamic, Muslim faith "Lah Illah Ha Illallah, Mohammed Rasullullah "(There is no God but Allah, and Mohammed is the messenger of Allah ") got onto the Arakan historical coins ( 1557-58 A.D).? (K) Where are the descendants of Muslim Forces (about 600-strong 7 their families) (The X people) of Arakan Thiri Thudama (1622-1638)? {Recorded by Portuguese traveler, the Augustine monk Sebastian Manrique-1622-1637 A.D.}. (L) Where are the descendants of slaves and prisoners (about 18,000-strong) (The X people), brought from Bengal region by Portuguese and Rakhines Sea pirates in 1727 A.D. (as per Records of Portuguese traveler, the Augustine monk Sebastian Manrique-1622- 1637 A.D.}. (M) Where are the descendants of Slaves and prisoners (about 42,000-stroung, during the period of 1621-1624, three years period, which alone constitute about 15% of Arakan population of respective era) and all other occasions? { Recorded by Sebastian Manrique, Francois Bernier, Father Delaunoite, Catholic encyclopedia, and others }.{ You can calculate the population of Arakan Kingdom in 1621-1626 as 280,000 }.{ In 1430s, about 200-years before, when Gen. Wali Khan's 50,000-forces and Gen. Sandi Khan's 30,000-forces arrived in Arakan, what would be the population of Arakan.???} (N) Among 18,000 as per (I), there were 450, or one fourth of them, were technocrats, educated persons (The X people), who had served the King of Arakan, in February, 1727 A.D. {as per G.E Harvey}. (O) Where are the followers and forces (The X people of Arakan) of Prince Shuja, who fled to Arakan, (who arrived in Arakan on August 26th 1660 A.D)?. (P) In 1799, when 40,000-to-50, 000-Rakhines took shelter in Bengal (now Bangladesh ) due to brutal persecution of Burmans invaders, occupiers of Arakan (1784-1799), Were there no X-people of Arakan, or Muslims of Arakan or Rohingyas of Arakan, who followed those Rakhines at that period. {Where were they now a days? We do have more reasons to believe that Burmans invaders would have gone after the Muslims than the Buddhist Rakhines at that situation.}. (Q) In the reign of Minba Gyi (1551-1553), there were 4000- Muslims (The X people of Arakan,) who were brought to Arakan from Bengal ; where were they and their descendants now? (R) In the reign of Minba Raza Gyi (1595-1613), there were another 4000- Muslims prisoners (The X people of Arakan, who were brought to Arakan from Bengal ; where were they and their descendants now?). (S) There were Mayedu Muslims forces that came with Burmans invading forces that invaded and occupied Arakan in 1784-85. Where were their descendants now? {Who became Mayedu Muslims of Arakan in Sandaway region, southern Arakan.}? (T) Only in 10th century, Buddhism entered and spread in Arakan; when the X people of Arakan, the Muslims, the Aryans, or today's Rohingyas, Kamans and Mayedu Muslims of Arakan and their ancestors were there in Arakan since 7th and 8th century.{ 200-years before Burmans entered Burma and Buddhism and Mongoloids entered Arakan }. (U) Therefore, The original, ancient and Native people of Arakan are Aryans of Arakan, Their Ancesters of the X people of Arakan and the descendants of Hindu Chandra Hindu people of Arakan; not those who came and entered in 10th century and afterward. {Are they "Today's Rakhines", Aryans?, or Mongoloids? or both? Choice is yours! }.{ Are you to save your Race or your faith? }. (V) I want to ask you a very simple questions? Did you killed, expelled, or eliminated all those above-mentioned the X people of Arakan, the people of Muslim, Islamic faith, who have been there in Arakan since 7th century? Long before your deadline of 1824!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!! (W) These X people of Arakan are Rohingyas, Kamans and Mayedu of Arakan. (X) Do you all, who are against Rohingyas, Those Rakhine racists, like to say Bo Khaing Moe Lunn, who had sacrificed his life for the freedom of Arakan, who had worked and fought with Rohingyas brothers shouder-to-shoulder , was a idiot, or un-patriotic or any less patriotic than you, racists? Bo Khaing Moe Lunn, Whom we regard as one of the most patriotic and most respected of all in Arakan and a pioneer of Liberation of Arakan! (Y) Do you want to say, Major (Retired) U Tun Gyaw Oo, the Chairman of Amyothar Party of Arakan, is less patriotic than others like you? Who have been working with Rohingyas of Arakan? (Z) Do you want to say, Dr. Khin Maung, U Padee Pru and others in NUPA (National Unity Party of Arakan) are less patriotic than you racists are? As they are the one of two parties in cooperation and coordination with Rohingyas and all other natives of Arakan.( other one is Amyothar Party of Arakan ). (AA) If Rakhines brothers want to regain, retain and preserve their Dignity, Honor of their Nation, they must work with other natives of Arakan, Rohingyas, Kamans, Mranmar Gri, Mayedus, Mro, Dienet, Khami, Maras, and others in Arakan; otherwise they will loose their racial identity, Arakaness, and Rakhineness in near future; they would be left with only their belief not their racial identity and Rakhine Nation forever! In the end, I want to say that, we Rohingyas and all other Natives of Arakan, all the patriotic ones are more interested in retaining our freedom, our liberty and our Nation of Arakan, The independent Nation of Arakan. We are not interested to stay under brutal Military Regimes, which are imposed on us since 1962; we do not want to continue like this, for another 47 years or more, under these kinds of regimes! Brutal, repressive, oppressive, illegal regimes! This regimes may be there, who knows how many years more! All types and kinds of criticism are welcomed; pro or con! Or neutral! | Khin Maung Saw's thesis on trying to de-legitimatize the Rohingya history in Arakan is not new. For the last three years, as an obsessed, xenophobic Rakhine, much given to pen-pushing, and spread of hateful messages, he is known for trying his best to re-write history that would obliterate Rohingya's historicity in today's Arakan. His pseudo-history has been already refuted by others.
In this short rebuttal, let me point out something that I have maintained in last three decades, is that the history of the geographical region we commonly came to know as the South Asia including what is today called Myanmar, which is sandwiched between South Asia and South-east Asia, has no one beginning, no one chronology, no single plot or narrative. This gargantuan fact is recognized by all great historians -- Professor David Ludden (who recently retired from the U Penn), Romila Thapar, R.S. Sharma and many others -- who spent their lifetimes to study the region. To these unbiased and genuine historians of the ancient India and Burma, the region did not have a singular history, but many histories, with indefinite, contested origins and with countless separate trajectories that multiply the more we learn about the region. Obviously, such an understanding and analysis of history is unpopular and loathesome with communal, racist, xenophobic regimes and their propagandists and vanguards. The latter bigots would rather have it their way in which the minorities or the have-nots in power simply did neither exist nor mattered. To them, the affected persecuted people just appeared in the recent scene through mere accident of history like those possible through a magic lantern! That is the level of their disgusting chauvinism, which is often reflected through the claims and counter-claims of pen-pushing polemicists like Khin Maung Saw.
I am sure if half-educated charlatans like Khin Maung Saw had genuinely tried to study history from a neutral mindset, away from malice and hatred, our world, especially that of the South-Asia and South-east Asia would have been quite different. We would not have hateful criminals like the SPDC and BJP ruling either Burma or India. Through their communal interpretation of history, these two-legged animals have given credence to the Darwinist interpretation of the origin of species that in places like Buddhist Burma there are still entities that have not fully evolved into human beings. With all the signs we see around us from these half-beasts, half-men, I am afraid we may not see their full evolution in our lifetime!
