I would like to appeal to your good conscience pursuant to the below e-mail.  While the cancer-afflicted young girl needs a total of 9 chemotherapies (one bi-weekly), we have managed to get her 4 by now. Each chemotherapy costs about BDT 1 lakh 15 thousand. Can some 5 kind-hearted persons or groups of persons (consisting of friends, family members, relatives, colleagues etc. in each group) come up and each individual/group donate the total cost of one chemotherapy? Let us help this girl and her family in the spirit of what the Prophet (pbuh) said, "Allah is in the help of His servant until His servant remains in the help of another servant". Best regards. Hope you are enjoying a happy and peaceful life with all the blessings and bounties of Allah (SWT). However, I wanted to bring to your attention the plight of a young girl from Bangladesh.
 
Farhana, a 20 years old girl is suffering from a rare cancer called "the non-Hodgkin lymphomas" (NHLs). The cancer is identified as fast growing, "hi grade" in her body, which leaves the patient in a very critical state. The hi grade cancerous cells tend to grow and multiply quite quickly and are more 'aggressive' than the other types of cancer.
 
Farhana could be one of your lovely daughters, sisters, nieces or a close relative?
 
Would your kind heart afford to let Farhana die?
 
Would you come forward to save Farhana's life?
 
Of course, with our collective efforts, Allah (SWT) can restore a normal happy life to Farhana and she can smile again.
 
The doctor in fact assures that the treatment is available, but will be quite expensive, which happens to be the main problem for her family. Her father Mr. Abdul Wahed, the only bread-earner who has to maintain a family of 6 members. The poor father himself also lost 80% of his eye sight 18 years ago in an accident while he was working in a medical laboratory. His physical limitation barred him to work in good positions & that's why he never enjoys a good financial condition. 
 
What would you do if this happened to be your own family?
 
Would you let Farhana's cancer take away peace of the whole family?
 
Please help the family save Farhana's life. According to the Holy Qur'an, if you save a soul, you in fact save the whole humanity's soul.
 
For treatment the doctors prescribed 9 chemotherapy initially, each of which will cost about TK. 1, 15,000 with additional medicine & other expenses. As estimated so far, it will take about 12-13 lac taka for the full treatment, it might be even higher if they want to go abroad for better treatment, which is never possible for them without help from generous donors.

I am not sure if there are  underground network of any party in USA......not need to be.

India trying to help Hasina remain in power

GUWAHATI, Sept 11 – The Government of India has decided to extend as much help as possible to Bangladesh to strengthen the hands of the Sheikh Hasina led Awami League Government in the interest of having a friendly neighbour as the present Government in the neighbouring country already extended help to India in dealing with insurgency.
Highly placed official sources in New Delhi told The Assam Tribune that though the fundamentalist groups are still active in Bangladesh, they are not allowed a free run as was the case in the past. The effort on the part of India is to extend help to Bangladesh so that the present regime stays in power, sources added.
Sources pointed out that though India's relations with Myanmar improved considerably in recent times, China has virtually taken control of the economy of that country and there is urgent need for India to have at least one friendly neighbour and in this regard, India has been maintaining cordial relation with Bangladesh.
Sources further pointed out that during the tenure of the previous regime in Bangladesh, the militant groups of North East were having a free run and even operated camps in that country, while, the anti-India fundamentalist forces also had strong bases. But the situation has changed completely after the Awami League Government came to power as leaders of different militant outfits were apprehended and handed over to India. Some of the members of the militant groups of North East are still staying in Bangladesh, but they are not allowed a free run.
But the fact remains that fundamentalist forces are still active in Bangladesh and militant groups like the HUJI still have strong bases and there is need for India to take necessary precautions to prevent elements of such groups from sneaking into India to indulge in acts of violence.
However, sources admitted that there are some major drawbacks in the efforts to maintaining good relations with Bangladesh. As every firing along the international border causes hue and cry in Bangladesh and puts the Government in an embarrassing position, the Government has directed the personnel of the Border Security Force (BSF) to use lethal weapons only when it is absolutely necessary. The personnel of the border guarding force are being provided with non-lethal weapons in phased manner to deal with infiltrators and smugglers.
Sources admitted that the instruction of not using lethal weapons may create confusion in the minds of the personnel of the border guarding force as they will find it difficult to decide when to use lethal weapons and when to use non lethal weapons. Moreover, normally small groups of BSF men go out for patrolling and it will be difficult for them to carry both lethal and non lethal weapons, sources pointed out. The BSF is already facing shortage of manpower and it will also not be possible for the force to send out large groups carrying both lethal and non lethal weapons for patrolling along the international border.

বাংলাদেশ জাতীয়তাবাদী দলের চেয়ারম্যান খালেদা জিয়া ২০১০ সালে মার্কিন দূতাবাসের সঙ্গে এক বৈঠকে অভিযোগ করেন, ক্ষমতাসীন আওয়ামী লীগ তার দলের (বিএনপি) ওপর নির্যাতন চালাচ্ছে ও তুচ্ছতাচ্ছিল্য করছে।  খালেদা জিয়া ওই সময়ে সফররত যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের পররাষ্ট্র মন্ত্রণালয়ের কর্মকর্তা প্যাট্রিক মুনকে বাংলাদেশের উন্নয়ন ও গণতন্ত্রের প্রতি নিজের প্রতিশ্রুতির কথা বলেন। বিশেষ করে শিক্ষা ও স্বাস্থ্যসেবার উপর তিনি বিশেষ গুরুত্ব দেন।

তিনি বলেন, আওয়ামী লীগ যদি বিএনপিকে ছাড়া জাতীয় ইস্যুতে নীতি নির্ধারণের তত্পরতা অব্যাহত রাখে তাহলে তার দল রাজপথে নামবে। বাংলা নিউজ।

সম্প্রতি উইকলিকসে ফাঁস হওয়া এক তারবার্তা থেকে জানা যায়, ২০১০-এর ২১ জানুয়ারি প্যাট্রিক মুনের সঙ্গে এক ঘন্টাব্যাপী বৈঠকে খালেদা জিয়া বলেন, আওয়ামী লীগ বিরোধীদল হিসাবে ও নীতি নির্ধারণে তার দলকে পার্লামেন্টে ভূমিকা রাখতে দিচ্ছে না। তিনি বিএনপি সমর্থকদের ওপর আওয়ামী লীগের নেতা-কর্মীদের নির্যাতনের কথা উল্লেখ করেন। একই সঙ্গে খালেদা জিয়া তার দুই ছেলে ও বিএনপির নেতা-কর্মীদের বিরুদ্ধে পুলিশ, সেনাবাহিনী ও বিচার ব্যবস্থায় আওয়ামী লীগের হস্তক্ষেপ ও প্রভাবের ব্যাপারে অভিযোগ করেন।

বৈঠকে খালেদা জিয়া বলেন, আওয়ামী লীগের সঙ্গে বিএনপি কাজ করার চেষ্টা করেছে।  প্রধানমন্ত্রীসহ আওয়ামী লীগের নেতারা বিএনপির নেতাদের বিরুদ্ধে ব্যক্তিগত আক্রমণ করেন। উদাহরণস্বরূপ খালেদা জিয়া বলেন, ২০ জানুয়ারি পার্লামেন্টের একটি প্রশ্নোত্তর পর্বে প্রধানমন্ত্রী শেখ হাসিনা বলেন, তার মনে হয় না জিয়ার মাজারে বিএনপির প্রতিষ্ঠাতা জিয়াউর রহমানকে সমাহিত করা হয়েছে।

বৈঠকে বিএনপির তত্কালীন মহাসচিব খোন্দকার দেলোয়ার হোসেন, উপদেষ্টা পরিষদের সদস্য রিয়াজ রহমান ও সাবিহউদ্দিন আহমেদ উপস্থিত ছিলেন।

তারবার্তায় আরো বলা হয়, বৈঠকে বাংলাদেশে স্থিতিশীল, সমৃদ্ধ ও গণতান্ত্রিক উন্নয়নে যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের প্রতিশ্রুতির কথা উল্লেখ করা হয়। বিএনপির ঊর্ধ্বতন নেতারা বিক্ষোভ আয়োজনে তাদের পরিকল্পনার কথা বললে দূতাবাস উদ্বেগ প্রকাশ করে জানায়, আমরা (দূতাবাস) দুই দলকেই তাদের মধ্যে গঠনমূলক সংলাপ আয়োজনের ব্যাপারে উত্সাহিত করব।

Yes, I can see your anger. I do not support any party destroy public property in the name of democracy.  Pardon me, Jamat are not strong as NAATSHI FORCE so you should not fear them. 
 
Who killed democracy by 4th amendment of the constitution creating one party BAKSAL rule and closing publication of all but four newspapers? 
 
People born in Bangladesh are not going anywhere. They belong here.... good or bad in your opinion.
 
We should not fear Jamat, BNP,  AL or JP rather fear One Party system (Democracy Killer).

Jamat's recent atrocities are nothing but the reminiscences of their heinous role in '71. They have crossed their limits with this terrorist activities. They are REPLICA OF THE NOTORIOUS NAATSHI FORCE! So, on behalf of pro-liberation forces and peace loving people, I urge Bangladesh Govt. to ban the activities of Jamate Islam immediately and punish the culprits of the incident vigorously. They don't deserve to live in Bangladesh,rather should migrate to Pakistan , their beloved homeland !!

নিজস্ব প্রতিবেদক: প্রায় ১১ বছর ধরে ভারতের বিখ্যাত শহর মুম্বই'র বড় একটি মসজিদের একজন ইমাম মরণব্যাধি এইডস আক্রান্ত হয়ে দেশে ফিরেছেন কয়েক মাস আগে। ৪ সন্তানের জনক আলোচিত এই ইমাম তার এইডস আক্রান্ত হওয়ার কথা স্ত্রী-সন্তানদের কাছে গোপন রেখেছিলেন। সর্বনাশ হতে দেরি লাগেনি, প্রথমে স্ত্রী, ক'দিন পরে ছোট ছেলেটিও আক্রান্ত হয়। বর্তমানে এ তিনজনই মহাখালীতে অবস্থিত দেশের একমাত্র সরকারি সংক্রামক ব্যাধি হাসপাতালে ভর্তি আছেন। মুম্বইর মসজিদের ওই ইমাম কয়েক মাস আগে অসুস্থ হয়ে পড়লে সেখানকার এক হাসপাতালে ভর্তি হন। সেখানে পরীক্ষায় এইডস ধরা পড়ার পর মসজিদ কর্তৃপক্ষ ইমাম সাহেবকে বাংলাদেশে পাঠিয়ে দেন। তার বাড়ি কুমিল্লা জেলার লাকসাম উপজেলায়। ইমামের স্ত্রী মানবজমিনকে জানান, আমার স্বামী আমাকে বলেননি তার এইডসের কথা। বলেছিল ওখানে আমি একবার অসুস্থ হলে রক্ত নিয়েছিলাম তা থেকেই আক্রান্ত হয়েছি। অবশ্য কিছুদিন আগে সে আমার ও ডাক্তারদের কাছে স্বীকার করেছে- প্রতি ৩ মাস পর পর ১ বার যেতেন ওখানকার এক পতিতালয়ে। ইমামের শারীরিক অবস্থা এতই খারাপ যে, হাসপাতাল কর্তৃপক্ষ বাইরের কারও সঙ্গে কথা না বলতে কড়া নির্দেশ দিয়েছেন। একজন ইমাম হয়েও নিজের জীবন তো শেষ করলোই আমাদের জীবন দু'টোও শেষ করে দিলো। তিনি আরও বলেন, অনেক দিন পর পর একবার বাড়িতে আসতেন কিন্তু দু'তিন দিন যেতে না যেতেই আবার মুম্বই ফিরে যেতেন। বলতেন ওখান থেকে জরুরি ফোন এসেছে।
