Re: [chottala.com] Mozaffer Sir is unreplaceable

Dear Mahboob,

I am moved with your touching e-mail. Muzaffar Ahmed was my contemporay in the University of Dhaka. Between me and many of his contemporaries including Prof. AK.M.Mohsin and the entire group of Sportsmen particularly the Swimming Team knew him as a very gentle person. Since then we met intermittently and always followed up his fearless and straightforward statements and fearless actions.
Bangladesh has lost a person who did not want anything for what he said or did, even any kind of praises, not to think of anything more than that. May Allah give peace to the soul of Prof. Muzaffar Ahmed and give him Jannat. He left behind for the future innumearable acts of Sadqua-e-Jariah the benefets of which will only multiply over the years and millenia, through this century and beyond.

Mohsin Bhai, I am giving you a copy of this e-mail as you were very close to him and others like Gaffar Chowdhury, Gazi Bhai, Zillur Bhai and others.

Thank you again for sharing this e-mail with me.

 K.M.S. Aziz

Professor Mozaffer Ahmed is no more with us. I had the opportunity to talk with him last Friday and we returned with the same car after a press conference of BAPA. I was not so happy to see him so pale that day.
I had the opportunity to work with him for long time and I must say he is one of the most honest person I have seen in my life. He was simple and was not wealthy in terms of money but to me and to many of us he is one of most wealthiest by virtue of  honesty, dedication and patriotism. He  was an economnist but when he gave speech about environment and  I could  imagine how versatile genious he was.  He never compromised with corruption. If our politicians would have followed his advice Bangladesh would have one of the most free country. Free I mean exploitation free.He may not be so popular to the downtordeen and helpless but he did a lot to remove poverty and to establish a peaceful society and safe environment. We have lost one of the real hero of our nation, who never afraid to say the truth. I have many more thing to learn from him but could not be able to meet him any more. I hope,  I will never forget this great man and will try my best to fulfill his dream. He may remain in peace in the haven of Allah for ever. It was really very difficult for me to come back from Azimpur graveyard because I could not be able to  talk with him but I have many useful thing to learn which only Mozaffer sir could expalin. He is unreplacebale.
