[chottala.com] We can not be left behind India?

* India has started feeding Children of the Poorest Peasants also. Why are we behind in that?
* India has stopped begging for Foreign Loans also. Why are we behind in that?
* India has started having hundreds of billions of Dollars in her Foreign Exchange Reserves also. Why are we behind in that?
* India Per Capita Income has gone over $ 1200 also. Why are we behind in that?
* India has started earning more in Foreign Exchange than spending  every year for a while also. Why are we behind in that?
* India has not been run by her Military ever. Why we can not be free of Pak Military's direct or indirect rule of Pakistan?

After Agni-V, Pakistan to launch long-range missile

Just days after India successfully test fired its first Inter Continental Ballistic Missile (ICBM), Agni-V,  Pakistan has informed India that it plans to conduct a long-range missile test very soon.

Pakistan told India that they plan to conduct a 'long-range missile test in the Indian Ocean' anytime over the next five days. It has asked the Indian civil aviation authorities to issue a NOTAM (notice to airmen) to warn commercial airlines and pilots to steer clear of the area, reported

The move by Pakistan comes just five days after India test fired Agni-V to join the elite club of ICBM nations. AP

The move by Pakistan comes just five days after India test fired Agni-V and joined an elite club of ICBM nations. Only the permanent members of the UN Security Council – China, Russia, France, the United States and the United Kingdom – have such long distance missiles.

Subject: So at last the truth came out!!

Oh so, 'size-able percentage' Afghans 'are now shifting in favor' of rule of their Enemies, the Pakistanis called 'Taliban', who they still call 'Kharjiyaan' (Foreigners) so, there would be ...
.
* ... devaluation of Afghan Currency back to 2 lac for a Dollar again?
* ... lesser Income for them, Per Capita Income going down back to $ 90 from presently $ 900?
* ... Starvation and Poverty again?
* ... Charity of Aid would be coming from the West and would be looted again from Red Cross Warehouses by Taliban?
* ... no TV, no Music again?
* ... no Clean Shaved Persons because they will have to serve Jail Time for Indefinite Duration of time again?
* ... their herding with Sticks to Mosques again?
* ... beating of their Daughters, Sisters and Mothers if their Arm gets exposed beyond their Wrists again?
* ... beating Public Beating of their Females caught wearing Nail Polish again?
* ... Public Executions of people in Kabul Stadium every Friday again?
* ... abductions of their Daughters up to 6 years old so, they can get forced to marry Taliban again?
* ... no Girls Schools and no regular Schools and Colleges like before?
* ... no Infrastructure built like before?
* ... no Electricity, no Roads, no jobs like before and their country would destroyed again by their Enemies, the Pakistanis called Taliban?
.
May we dare to ask ...
.
* ... what rights Pakistanis called Taliban, created, financed, trained, armed and infiltrated with 2 Division of Pak Army disguised as Taliban, in to Afghanistan in 1996 have to start ruling Afghanistan?
* ... if Taliban are not really Pakistanis and are Afghans so popular in Afghanistan, how come none of them ever ran in Elections already held twice in Afghanistan?
* ... if Taliban's Shadow Government runs 33 out of 34 Provinces of Afghanistan, how come they could never influence Afghan Voters despite their Death Threats to them against participating in Elections twice?
* ... would not Afghanistan have had peace if Pak Military had not kept infiltrating them and kept spending huge amounts of money to hire a few Afghans to cause all that Sneak Attack Terrorism?
* ...how can Taliban last so long without any Money, rearming by Pak Military for the last 11 years?
* ...how are just few thousand Taliban going to take over Afghanistan from 350,000 strong Afghan Army if Pak Army is not going to infiltrate in to Afghanistan with them?
* ...who told you Afghans like peace like in a Grave Yard instead of getting their Infrastructure built, Schools open and $ 10 billion a year Charity of USA?

Shadow play

Indistinct figures loomed through the murk of the Kabul night, the permanent dust haze reducing headlight visibility to almost nil as our vehicle crawled, somewhat hesitantly, through one of the many checkpoints on the city outskirts. A cursory glance inside satisfied the armed police on duty and we are waved on in moments, as was the heavy traffic in front of us and that which followed in our wake. We were entering the metropolis from the direction of Sarobi, the road behind us snaking all the way back to Jalalabad and the Pakistan border.

The scenario was exactly the same when I arrived in Kabul from Kunduz at sunset a few weeks earlier — so it came as no surprise that militants were able to penetrate the so-called 'ring of steel' surrounding the city to carry out their recent coordinated attacks on selected targets. It was also no surprise that President Hamid Karzai blamed the situation on Nato intelligence failure without mentioning Afghan forces or his own intelligence network and, even less of a surprise, that fingers were promptly pointed towards the Haqqani network and Pakistan. Where the surprise lies, however, is that almost everyone who should be both concerned and informed continues to ignore the blatant truth, which is that the shadow play comprising Afghan politics and foreign occupation has undergone a complete volte-face, in that the majority of the population outside of Kabul want the Taliban back in the driving seat.

Shocking as this may sound to the uninitiated, it is perfectly understandable if you happen to be an Afghan villager with peace and justice in mind: Taliban-dispensed justice may be bloody but it is quick. If a murderer is apprehended for instance, then that is that and the same goes for a thief. But if such criminals are brought to government courts, then depending on who they happen to be, justice may, or may not be served. Afghan villagers and, to be fair city dwellers, too, view the government as nothing more than a collection of corrupt braggarts and upstarts who are considered, by them at least, to be war criminals and thieves of the dirtiest order. The established fact that $4.5 billion was flown out of the country last year via Kabul airport and another estimated $8 billion taken out by other means serves to underscore their point.

People throughout the country are eager for the current government to fall, yet not all are so eager to see foreign occupation forces pull out and few believe that they actually will: "If American troops were leaving, then why is it that after 10 years of living in makeshift barracks, they are replacing them with concrete ones right now?" asks an informed source. Adding, "There is also the matter of the multimillion city complex scheduled for construction adjacent to Kabul airport. This is specifically to house foreigners and service contracts — up until 2025 — which have already been given out".

In the conundrum that is Afghanistan, the shadows are shifting, altering shape and gathering for whatever comes next, which for a sizeable percentage is the dream of a just and peaceful Taliban rule over the chaos of the current 'now'.
