AABEA (American Association of Bangladeshi Engineers & Architects) will conduct a Dua Mahfeel for Morhoom engineer Mr. Humayun Kabir on this Sunday (June 8) at Mrs. Sufia Mannan's house. Please join us on June 8, 2008 (Sunday) at 1:00 pm at the following address to make congregational dua for our lifetime favorite Humayun Kabir Bhai.

Direction: From 495 in Maryland, take exit 39 (River Road - route 190). Go towards Potomac (190 West - River Road West). Drive about 15 miles and turn left onto Rivers Edge (it is named as Travillah Road on the other side, I mean on your right side). After turning left on Rivers Edge, turn immediate left onto Maidstone. Turn first left onto Canal Vista Ct. Turn left onto the driveway after the 3rd house (driveway between the 3rd and 4th house). You will not see your destination house from the road. The house is at the end of the long drive way. There is a pond in front of the house.

Upon your arrival, we will perform Zuhr prayer first in congregation. Then, we will have a simple lunch together followed by Dua Mahfeel. Dr. Shahansha Choudhury and Dr. Sultan Ahmad will give short presentation on very important aspects in our life as well as related to the death of any of our favorite persons. After the short presentation, Dr. Sultan Ahmad will lead the congregational Dua.
This function is open to all, regardless of anyone's religious beliefs and cultural background.
As most of you know, our very popular & highly respected engineer Mr. Humayun Kabir left us & this world on May 18, 2008. He made uncountable & immeasurable contributions to AABEA as well as to other organizations. He was not only a past president of AABEA, but also a highly dedicated volunteer for all activities organized by AABEA. Definitely all of us will individually pray for him whenever possible anyway, but let's get together for a congregational dua and let's give a congregational respect to him from our community.
