[chottala.com] Lt. General Masud Uddin from Bangladesh to attend the Seminar on Terrorism

Mr. Dear Shajahan vai, How ar you doing? I am really surprised that you got involved in the kind of Seminar to bring Lt. General Masud Uddin in the limelight.  Could you be truthful to yourself and ask a question whether this so called  seminar would bring any benefit to American Bangladeshi in USA and the citizens of Bangladesh. I may be wrong but it seems to me that there are some Bangladesh American (excluding you) who are trying to get introduced to this General  for whatever reason.

Mr. Alam, if you knew Shajahan vai, you wouldn't have commented in such a rude way...I believe that Sahajahan vai is not doing it for his personal benefit. Dr. Sahajahan is a very straight. His involvement may be useful if he ask the General some of our feelings:  Why don't we see any current or ex Military brass in the list? How did the govt appoint Bridg. Gen. Sakwat as one of the EC though he was sacked from the Amry for corruption? How did this government select him in such a sensitive job that is equivalent to a Secretary? Could you please ask Gen Masud, why is he protecting his brother-in-law ex. Major Syed Eskander and his brother Shameem Eskander?

Sincerely,

Dr. Jamir Chowdhury

Shajahan Bhai and Aslam Bhai, I believe you guys are misunderstanding each other. Dr. Shajahan's comments about his involvement with this seminar are precisely right. His role is not as an initiator but as local facilitator.

Please acknowledge each other with respect.
Thanks
Shamim Chowdhury

Dear Mr. Aslam:
You have crossed the boundary of civility. You have to know how to write and what to write in a civilized forum. If I do something that you do not like, you may criticize it, but not using words that an uneducated man will do. First, you should know why are we involved in the matter and to what extent? Then you should have passed your judgment.

Mr. Aslam, this is probably not your actual name. Why do you have to be under veil? Please write with your actual identification – don't remain under disguise.
By writing few lines on the internet, you think that you have become the savior of Bangladesh and acquired the sole agency of Bangladeshi patriotism. By the way, how many people read your postings? I do not know you, but I can challenge that I have not done any less than you for Bangladesh.  Probably you are doing on your own way and I'm doing on my way.  I don't like to know what you are doing. But if you like to know what I am doing, communicate with me first.
A New York based group is organizing this seminar. We have a common area where we work together.  Based on this relationship, the group is seeking local support from us. That's all.  The group will organize the seminar regardless of our help.  I am neither an insider nor a member of the group – you will not find our names in their formal invitation letter. We are also helping them for the cause of Bangladesh, if you want to know how, contact any of the organizers. I do not go any where alone, lot of people have suggested me that it is an opportunity to discuss issues about Bangladesh in front of the Reps.

You have asked me if I am looking for a cushy job. Mr. Aslam, I don't know what you are doing but I'm doing a professional job with a modest salary and I don't have any intention to look elsewhere. What kind of professional job are you doing? How come you get so much time to write on the web so frequently?  Are you trying for a cushy job too from any quarter now or in future?
No one has the guts to say that I have reaped any benefit from these activities. I do work for the community spending money from my pocket in some cases.  Let me give you an example how much distance I maintain from personal gains in this type of case.  I have good acquaintance with one of the past Prime Ministers of Bangladesh. When she was in power, I even did not visit Bangladesh intentionally during her reign, lest I get the temptation to approach her for any favor for me or for any one else.
So, please do not pass a comment about anybody without knowing details.
I'm too busy a person and I do not have enough time to respond to these silly accusations. Probably I won't reply any more.
Thanks
Shahjahan Mahmood

To a servile self-seeker who attempts to win favor by flattering influential people.
.
Here you go again Dr. Shah Mahmood !  Is this one of your business
as usual?  Don't you have any shame? Are you a back-boneless
cherubic creature?

Once again you are getting involved into sychophantic episodes!
Are you lobbying for a cushy job that requires night-time boot polishing
in addition to the normal day-time work requirements?

Do you realy know who are the sponsors and organizers of this

As we all know the people in "Global Alliance against Terrorism " are
bunch of shadowy characters ! I think you know better than us.... As a matter of
fact you are an insider.. The former congrssman Curt Weldon  is currently under
investigation for corruption & Shadowy deals:

"Weldon was instrumental in organizing Defense Solution's outreach to Bangladesh in the wake of the recent military coup that has installed an interim government there. General Moeen Ahmed, the head of the military in Bangladesh, knew of Defense Solution's contract to rebuild 77 Soviet-style tanks for U.S. forces in Iraq, and he wants similar vehicles for Bangladesh.
In March, Weldon led an envoy of retired military personnel to Dhaka in order to foster better relations between the United States and Bangladesh. In addition to military vehicles, Bangladesh wants to open branches of Prime Bank Limited in Bangladeshi communities in the United States. This new partnership comes despite growing instability in Bangladesh and United Nations allegations that the country's armed officials have been relying on murder and torture as a means of law enforcement" .
Don't try to defend yourself, you are a disgrace for our Bangladeshi community is USA..
Your kind of people are the root cause of all the misfortunes that our nation is facing to-day.

Sorry, if I have annoyed you.... but you deseve the worse .....
Thanks for your patience!

Syed Aslam
