[chottala.com] Invitation to join Embassy Open House__Tomorrow__Saturday__03 May 2014



Dear community members:
H.E. the Ambassador of Bangladesh to the USA is  happy to invite you all in " Embassy Open House" program on Saturday, 03 May 2014 from 10 AM to 4 PM.

On "Embassy Open House " day, we will open  the Embassy's gate for all and offer an opportunity to interact with us, enjoy our cultural program, and thus setting  a platform for interactions  between the Embassy and the people from all walks of life in the USA. 

The program starts at 10 AM in the morning and continues until 4 PM in the evening. The record of our last year's program  shows  that we have been able to draw a free flow of crowed  of around 3000 during this day long event.

Except from the Embassy of Bangladesh, 50 embassies from Africa, Asia, Oceania, the Middle East, and the Americas will also join the event and showcase their own cultures. Most of the Embassies are situated in close proximity to our Embassy, and as such we would encourage you to take this advantage along with your families to have a round the world tour on the day. No doubt, this will be a unique opportunity to acquaint our younger generation with the people and culture of different countries. 

We are happy to inform that Bangladesh Embassy has been a founding member of this initiative back in 2007 in collaboration with Cultural Tourism DC, a Washington based cultural organization. Since then we have been leading this initiative by bringing in new ideas and initiatives , which has been deeply appreciated by our colleagues at other Embassies.
