Ravindranath Tagore or his works does not represent the general 
People of Bangladesh. He and his works represent culturally the upper privileged class which exploited the poor peasants of Bangladesh.Therefore stop promoting such ideas which only help those who are gathering momentum to destroy any or whatever 
Bangladeshi Muslim culture is left.
Also please don't forget the speech Tagore delivered in 1921 opposing the establishment of Dhaka University himself presiding over a public meeting in Gorermat Calcutta.
